We were on level -3 (basement) the lift was very jumpy and smelly as well as the corridors. In the room it was quite clean apart from inside the kettle that was really bad so we didn't use it. We reported the t.v as that wasn't working they said they would inform maintainence. We checked in at 2pm as advised and when we got to the room there was a housekeeper still sor...
Booked this hotel the day before and got a good deal, it is a good location on the south bay cliff, good shopping area, friendly staff and very good breakfast, large room and bathroom, it is an old hotel so the décor is dated, the everything else made up for that, I would recommend this hotel if you can get a deal, full price is a bit expensive.
This was a lovely hotel to stay in which was kind of by itself when you look up at it from the beech. The room and all the facilities were all good and the price was really reasonable compared to nearby hotels. Id definitely recommend this hotel to a friend or anyone wanting to visit Scarborough.

Close to mini golf, train, a small supermarket and a pub and a cafe for food. Also just a short walk to Peasholm Park and around 15 mins walk from the centre of town. I booked this for my inlaws, they informed me that the room allocated was not finished. It overlooked the area where people sat but didn't have net curtains. There wasn't a bin and the door only closed if slammed hard which was extremely noisy. On reporting this another room was allocated which although clean was a bit tired around the edges, and didn't have the double...
The hotel location is great, less than 5 mins to town shops and beach. Located at the top of the hill in Scarborough but near to the cable lift so no problem with getting back up the hill. Nice to have a properly cooked to order breakfast at this hotel and comfortable lounge to relax in after diner.
Lovely traditional pub/Inn. All the staff were lovely and welcoming. No issue with our 6 month old and 6 yeearnold in the bar or restaurant.. food was great, beers were delicious and rooms clean and fresh. Definitely will revisit. Thanks for a great night!

i think it is very regretable that the hotel is spoiled by the reception staff who we found to be aloof not very helpful and not welcoming,at least the ones that we encountered. i would not make a formal complaint as everything else about the hotel was very good . i find that a warm welcome at reception can make a big difference to the stay at any hotel and form my fi...
Very nice manager very friendly and helpful did like the breakfast the downside was the tv did not work very well and heating was a bit slow at getting the room warm the manager will be looking into the issues above

everything at the crescent was brilliant from the minute we checked in to leaving the staff are so friendly cant do enough for you it is spotlessly clean we had a standard twin room it was spacious and a lovely big bathroom the food was great a huge breakfast and we booked an evening meal with steaks to die for will we be back? WE SURE WILL

We had a lovely weekend at the Admiral Apartments.The owner Seb is a a lovely helpful owner who couldn't do enough to help us.We hope to go back again very soon!
breakfast was poor one sausage one small piece of bacon few beans and one very small tomato i think hotel could do better it was ok for a child it looked a bit lost on plate considering everything else was perfect

The hotel location is great, less than 5 mins to town shops and beach. Located at the top of the hill in Scarborough but near to the cable lift so no problem with getting back up the hill.
