"This was the perfect hotel for my first trip to Sendai. It is located within Sendai Station - very convenient: shops and food choices abound! The staff members were accommodating, even before I arrived. They replied to every inquiry I had via email, and received important parcels on my behalf, which I claimed upon arrival. When I got injured during my outing, they were very helpful, and gave me first aid. The breakfast buffet was great - my favorites were the stew with beef and veggies, the fish (I think it was mackerel), and the strawberry jam. There is only one thing I didn't particularly like - the narrow escalator from the entrance to the reception area, and only because of my luggage. Other than that, everything was wonderful. If I ever return to Sendai, I would surely stay here again :)"

  8. Smoking area
"The room area is small, but this is true for most Japanese business hotels, for a solo traveller, the area is enough. The hotel was opened in 2019 and is brand new, the rooms have smoke detectors so the 'usual' problem in Japan of booking a non-smoking room and entering a stinky smoking room won't happen here. There is a semi direct entrance from the sendai station, do you don't need to exit the station building to go to the hotel, but it is a bit of a maze. The hotel room was completely clean and had good amenities. The staff's level of English is the same as elsewhere - the common check-in phrases are scripted and it looks like they can speak it fluently, but as soon as you ask or need something specific, you notice the language barrier."

"This is a good choice. If you arrive by train and have cases take a taxi from Sendai station it is a bit of a walk if you are wheeling cases. Once in situ the location and facilities are good. Breakfast is a buffet with good Japanese selection also western but limited. In the immediate area lots of small local restaurants to choose from "

"The hotel is within walking distance from Sendai train station. Take the EAST exit and walk ahead & just slightly to your right, then catch the escalator down to the street level and make a right turn, and on the pedestrian crossing about 50 mtrs, cross the street where you will see Seven 11 store in front of you and walk on that street and you will find the hotel on your right hand side. Great little hotel and I had a pleasant 3 nights. Breakfast was quite good but if you'd rather not, just head off to Sendai train station and you will find a bewildering choice and it will probably cover all sort of taste. I just love Sendai train station & some noodle bars are so cheap & yummy. I used Sendai as a base to go to Yamadera & Matsushima. It worked brilliantly."
