"My friend and I had a very enjoyable 2-night stay at this hotel. It was nice to wake up to an extensive breakfast buffet each day and the Internet service was fast. The hotel shuttle bus to/from the airport stops directly in front of the hotel. In addition, the hotel is centrally located and walking distance to supermarkets, bus/train terminal, car rental agency and most importantly, Stavanger Old Town. We found our room to be a little too warm upon entering after checking in, and when we switched on the air-conditioner got neither cool nor warm air, so the only option to cool down the room was to open the window. We presumed that the extended winter meant the air-conditioning system had not yet been switched on throughout the hotel. Overall, a great hotel that I can certainly recommend."

"Benedicte is a great hostess. Even before we arrived months ago, she made reservations and recommendations for dinner. She is warm and very friendly. She knew we wanted to hike up to the Pulpit Rock but advised us to do the next day instead because of the weather conditions. She had printed out a copy of the weather forecast at Preikestolen ( Pulpit Rock) when we arrived to check into the apartment. The apartment is just opposite the ferry terminal ( to Tau). Very convenient to all the sights in Stavanger; no more than 15 minutes as the city is fairly small. "
