Best hotels & accommodations in Stirling

The hotel was easy to find, had good parking and was very comfortable. It's an old high school converted into a lovely hotel with lots of character. The room was spacious and the staff were very courteous and friendly. The only downside is that the hotel is halfway up a long hill between Stirling Castle and the town, so there's lots of walking up and down hills. The ...

we stayed here as a couple on new years eve and we got a taxi into stirling town to go out to a couple of pubs then up to the castle to watch the fireworks. hotel ordered us a taxi which came on time and it only cost about to get into town. we managed to get a taxi back after the bells at a similar cost. reception staff very helpful. bar open until 2am i think. beds w...

Only 4 lodges in this area. 2 bedrooms and a big living room combined with a open space kitchen. Pony riding is offered Saturday and Sunday, but it was possible to do it on Friday, because we left on the same day. Very friendly staff because of this. The inside and especially the outside area for kids are well-kept.

Our stay began with our inability to drive down the street which is the address of the hotel. It has limited hours that it is open to traffic, and the booking information says nothing about needing to snake your way through narrow one-way streets to reach a back parking lot which may or may not have a space for you. The receptionist talked us through directions on the ...

Very comfortable accommodation with a wonderful hostess who goes out of her way to make you have a great stay. The breakfast is outstanding especially the home made bread. It is located beside the Castle and there is private parking. The views from the guest lounge are outstanding.

Being situated in the middle of the campus of the University of Stirling, it was a little harder to find than most, but GPS worked fine and got us there. The staff is super helpful, the food is first rate, and the rooms were modern and clean. Close to the Wallace Monument, too. We loved our short stay at this hotel.

Stunning building. Amazimg what they've done with it. But the bunk beds are tiny, the mattresses old, the pillows need SOME padding... oh and... unless I'm mistaken, I saw no plug sockets in the room I was in. People today rely so much on mobile phones etc.. it needs to be acknowledged and dealt with if possible. But yes, my main issue was the bed. People are gettin...

It was a beautiful and elegant place to stay. We felt the place very homely yet also impressed by their professional service. Parking was convenient (either backside or street parking in front). The location is within walking distance to most of places. Did not have a chance to try their own restaurant but the restaurant recommended by the hotel made our last night in...
