Traveling to Australia? Find Sunshine Coast hotels

We came to Ramada on the Sunshine coast for a suprise birthday weekend for my mums 60th! The staff were brilliant, they went above and beyond to ensure our weekend was memorable. I had ordered balloons that got deliered before we arrived, so they set them up in our room ready for us. Upon checking in they asked for my mothers name (who arrived later for the suprise) just in passing, I didnt think anything of it...we came back after lunch to find a note addressed to my mum wishing her a happy birthday with some chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine!! These little touches blew me away. And the room...THAT VIEW...with the panorma view through the windows and the rooftop terrance...i couldnt get enough. Some of the furniture, aircon and the rooftop area/spa were a bit outdated...but even still it was EXTREMELY good value for money. Very nice bathrooms and great little kitchen! I was in love with the room, but blown away by the customer service we received. We will be back!

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment but at the last minute extra family wanted to join so I emailed the hotel and they were able to upgrade us to a 3 bedroom for a minimal extra cost paid direct to the hotel. the hotel was a very short walk over the road and along a 100m alley to the beach. Unfortunately the weather was rainy most of 4 day stay but the games room kept the kids entertained for a couple of hours each day so that was a welcome relief. The apartment itself was clean and tidy with everything you needed in the kitchen and laundry including washing machine and dryer and dishwasher. The master bed wasn't particularly comfortable but everything else made it a pleasant stay and we'd definitely stay in this perfect location again.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at the Rumba. We decided recently to have a short side-trip up to the Sunshine Coast while we were staying with family on the Gold Coast. We chose the Rumba due to the reviews we read, the price and the location. The Rumba was perfect. Our 3 bedroom apartment was modern, fresh, spacious and extremely clean. All the added features helped to make the resort such a great place to stay. A beach is straight across the street, there are a good range of eateries, coffee etc underneath. Great facilities and very welcoming staff - we will definitely be back!

Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment with great facilities - especially the massive spa bath. Pool was fantastic and massive spa pool on the roof was a great way to relax with the temperature perfect (some spa pools are too cold). Enjoyed the games room - especially the pool table. Great place to unwind and plenty to do both at the resort and in the Sunshine Coast area. Would definitely recommend.

We booked the hotel online and felt the descriptions for the hotel were accurate. We received a warm welcome on arrival and when booking a tour, the staff were very helpful. The view from our balcony was lovely overlooking the pool and we could also see the ocean. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. We would consider returning as it was in an excellent location.

Enjoyed my stay at MMBH. The 1BR apartment even came with a jacuzzi. I also used the washing machine. There were cooking utensils too. Nice ocean view from the room. The beach was at doorstep. Lots of eateries along the esplanade. You could go for long walks whenever you wanted. There was a Coles and a pharmacy behind the hotel which made things very convenient. Highly recommended for a stay in Sunshine Coast. Very close to the airport and Sunshine Plaza too (less than 10-15 min drive).

We needed a one bedroom apartment on the Sunshine coast for a short family holiday. We chose OVR for the price and location and were thrilled with the apartment. Had everything we needed . Great facilities but mostly we were close to the beach (just a stroll away). Check in was easy and the whole stay was relaxed. Caloundra is full of fantastic restaurants near the beach. The hotel would be suitable for families, couples or even just groups of friends.

Landmark Resort is in an amazing location right on top of endless cafes, restaurants and shops within a couple minutes of your door step. Landmark Resort staff were so friendly and accommodating and will book you in early and text you when you room is available. The room facilities are remarkable and we will certainly be back real soon and Landmark Resort will be the only resort we stay in when we visit the Sunshine Coast.

Fantastic location, large apartment, spa is the highlight! Introductory paperwork with rules and policies is a bit agressive as well as note left in our room to say spare room is not for use, not necessarily a big deal but a tad off putting when you're on holiday and not paying to stress about the small things. Maybe this could be rectified with a bit of training in customer service to warm up the experience for guests. My partner and I are fairly to ourselves anyway and not hard to please but because we've stayed in a lot of places around Australia and overseas, we've found that it's really the little things that count and the staff and employees we've dealt with who have dictated our great and not so great experiences. Rolling surf is so-so, not the worst but not the best either although I have no doubt it could all improve with a little work. Nonetheless thanks for having us. Lèa and Luis

from the booking in the staff were friendly and courteous. when we wanted to stay an extra night the procedure was seamless and courteous. the room was ideal for a couple and the facilities in the room were excellent. we had our family as visitors to the room and the pool areas and felt comfortable doing that as the staff were all tolerant and friendly. we enjoyed our stay very much and will book again for our next trip to see our family on the sunshine coast. the convenience of the restaurant next door was great for us and the food was second to none and also excellent value. this is a plus for the resort we think. we enjoyed the bbq area and the children loved the playground as well. five stars from us.

Our stay was fine we went for my birthday ,they embarrassed us when we went to breakfast which was included in our stay, but, were told when we went to have breakfast it was not! we were embarrassed because there were people standing behind us and it looked like we were trying to get a free breakfast, so we went to our room and finally the reception contacted us and said it was included and apologized and said it should of been noticed when we checked in . abit disappointed that not even a free coffee or drink or any thing minor wasn't offered for this mix up and also for my wifes birthday , we travel a lot and live local and stayed in many 5 star resorts and it has always been well received when we have told them its a special occasion . we did enjoy our stay but in noosa itself it was not the hotel that made it enjoyable ,the reception area has little ambience although the staff when we parked outside were friendly and helpful with our bags etc . I was very satisified with my stay at Sirocco. The apartment exceeded my expectations, being very spacious, immaculate and with quality finishes. Staff were very helpful, professional and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better location or view - looking straight over an immaculate pool to the beautiful beach opposite - it was all very satisfying. Sirocco is a gem in an amazing part of the Sunshine Coast and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We wanted a central location near Hastings St, Noosaville and Noosa Junction. This resort is perfect if you have a car. Close to all the beaches, top restaurants, and the great cafes of Noosaville and Hastings St. Plenty of parking, sunny large balcony, the kitchen well equipped & the rooms are well sized and very modern. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Love the Sunshine Coast and we'll be back to RACV Noosa definitely.

This is a well run and affordable establishment as close to Coolum Beach as it is possible to get. Rooms are large and individual hot water systems ensure a hot shower every time. As in many establishments these days, our king bed was two singles made up as one bed. I realize this gives hotels flexibility but the ridge down the centre can make for uncomfortable cuddle time. The Beach Retreat keeps prices low by limiting room services and Internet access. Data allowance is enough for emails and news but requires a login every time. This began to grate over the course of a week. Staff are very friendly and helpful and watching whales breach from our balcony was an unexpected bonus. Will return.

Lovely hotel right on a lagoon within a few mins walk to a beach on the Sunshine Coast. The hotel had plenty of options for food ranging from deli shop, buffet, a la carte and night time snacks plus the main bar was nice to sit in for drinks with friends. All places allowed you to put charges against the room which saved having to think or remember to have cash on hand. There were plenty of sports activities from golf to sailing to kayaking. We were there for a wedding close by therefore were very happy to find the Novotel twin waters nearby and to have a wonderful stay. Would go back next time in the region.

We had a ninth floor beach view unit which was all that we had hoped. Spectacular 180deg views, central location and great weather. The complex although starting to show some age is well maintained and thoroughly clean. The managers are extremely helpful and provide good advice. Restaurants, cafes and shops are at your doorstep and the beach is across the road. The location is central to all the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland has to offer. would stay here again.

We booked through agoda however there was an error with the type of room we booked when sent to their system. The staff were extremely helpful in ensuring we had the next best thing and we couldn’t have been happier! The treehouse was newly renovated and so private we felt relaxed and secluded. The freshly renovated bathroom and spa looking out over the trees and relaxing in front of the fireplace was just what we needed. Will be requesting that treehouse directly for our next visit. Thankyou so much!

Our two nights at Sea Breeze at Mooloolaba was the highlight of our short Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast holiday. The apartment is virtually brand new and is quite spacious. Both bedrooms had their own ensuites so the apartments would be perfect for a small family. We found card access for after hours entrance very reassuring. The check-in/check-out process was simple and the manager was very pleasant and helpful in his interactions with us. Its o'nly a short walk to the beach and esplanade shops. Very impressive location and we will hopefully return to the Sea Breeze in the near future.
