"Stayed in double bed room. Room size is what one would expect of hotels in Tokyo, quite small, enough room for 1 person to walk at a time. Bathroom was quite small too, but can't complain if you are able to shower and relief yourself. Hotel is about 300m walk from Shinjuku's Kabukicho exit, you can walk there easily. Along the way, you'll go past lots of eateries so you'll have plenty to choose from for meals. The place can get a bit lively in the evenings, mostly youngsters and young working adults will make up most of the crowd. So if you want a peaceful evening, you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, this is a nice place to enjoy company, a good meal and drinks later. Finally, the staff, they were great. Accommodating, allowed me to leave my baggage there for a few hours before check-in and after check-out. Will stay again."

"Everyone should try the capsule hotel experience at least one night when visiting Japan. So did I and picked this hotel based on the reviews on Agoda and couldn't be happier! The hotel is located in a 8 story building in Kabukicho, Shinjuku and it's very easy to get there. The reception is in floor 3, a common area for men & women with kitchen, restaurants, vending machines and internet café is located in floor 4. Floor 5 is used for day use capsules while the night capsules for men are located in floors 6 & 7. Women can stay in floor 8, separated from men. Staff was super nice and welcoming (contrary to some opinions here), they tried to help me from the very beginning and the people I talked to spoke fairly good English. Although customers are assigned a small locker with enough space to leave the clothes in a changing room, bigger luggage can be stored on some shelves present in both the changing room and in front of the reception. Don't be scared of leaving your items there, this is Japan and everybody respects your belongings. The place is clean and the capsule is much bigger than pictured!! Inside there is a control panel for the light, alarm, air conditioner and television, a power socket and a mirror along with the pillow and a duvet. All capsules have a curtain than can be opened/closed for privacy and but beware that some noises can come inside if other guests speak loudly (usually don't). The hotel also has a traditional Japanese bath (onsen) and sauna. Don't forget to try it before you leave! Checkout time is at 10 am and luggage cannot be stored after checking out. I had a great experience at Shinjuku Kuyakusho-mae Capsule Hotel and will definitely come back in my next trip to Tokyo."

"Arrived very late at night from Haneda International Terminal through both Monorail & JR Yamanote Line, I had to spend around 20 minutes to find the right way from JR Shinjuku Station. However, it's inside Kabuki-cho, which is one of the best place to have a night drink in Tokyo. But also, the staff is very kind as they kept my 50,000 yens CoD order while other hotels in Tokyo would refuse. For French visitors who are not fluent in English, this is the right place to find French-speaking staff. The room size is correct according to Tokyo standards and it's equipped with Shiseido amenities everywhere. I would also recommend to have a delicious breakfast on the top of the hotel to get a wonderful landscape of Tokyo."

"Stayed here for 6 nights. Good location right next to the elevator exit of Tawaramachi station, great to walk around the traditional neighborhood of Asakusa. Check-in process is a little bit weird with you having to enter your information on a touch screen. TINY room that barely allows you to put and keep your luggage on the floor all the time, with just a couple of hangers on the wall and no wardrobe. Being so tiny and with a window that does not open, the air can get a bit stuffy. Bed is comfortable, and staff cleaned the room everyday providing new toiletries and clean yukatas, that you can wear to sleep or to go to the public baths on the 14th floor (the best part of the hotel!). They are separated by gender, with a few individual seating showers to clean yourself before soaking in the big common baths (a big one indoor, a smaller one outdoor, and two individual outdoor baths), where you can socialize with other naked people. They include free breakfast in the Komeda Café downstairs, with 3 set options to choose from (best one is the toast with red beans). It's very nice and filling, but can get a little repetitive if you are staying many days. After our 6 nights stay in this hotel, we went to stay in another area of Tokyo for 3 nights, and on the last day we had to pass nearby this hotel to take the train out of Tokyo. It was early, we had some things to do around there, and we had a lot of luggage that didn't fit in the public coin lockers in Tawaramachi station, so we asked if we could leave them in the hotel for a couple of hours. They refused because we were not "currently" staying there, which I can kind of understand (even though we had just stayed there 6 nights!), but it would have been a nice gesture and avoid us the hassle to go to Ueno station to find bigger coin lockers. "The room was quite small, it is only 11sqm so we as an asian couple who has 2 medium size luggages cannot open our 2 luggages at the same time but you can put the luggages under the bed in case you dont need to use them in order to have more room to walk. The room was superb clean and the hotel provide necessary amenities. The location is great (only about 300-500m from JR otsuka station) and the JR Otsuka station is located in Ikebukuro neighborhood so you can walk directly back from Ikebukuro (takes about 15-20minutes) and there are many budget restaurants and convenient stores around the hotel. We will stay over at this hotel next time we have a trip to Tokyo "
