"When we arrived, we realized that our booking put us all on smoking rooms. The helpful staff managed to put us on non-smoking but we still need to stay two nights at smoking rooms as at the time they have no non-smoking room for the whole duration of our stay. We found that the smoking room has better bed with some sort of memory foam or latex foam lining on top. The hotel is about 10minutes walk away from the JR Shinjuku station. For us it is not a long walk and we think it is a good distance but not too far because Shinjuku station is very busy. There are two mini marts and there are plenty of restaurants too on the hotel premises. You can find several more between hotel and Shinjuku station. Rooms are clean, although a bit small as most other hotels in Tokyo are. Sometimes the wait time for the elevator can be quite long although there are six elevators. Our first local tour's meeting place (Yakoso) is right at the hotel and airport Limousine bus can take us directly to the hotel and we can purchase return tickets to airport right at the hotel as well. This is a big plus because we have quite a few luggages. We think this is the most convenient hotel we have stayed. Distance from the JR station is just right and you can find quite a selection of food at the hotel too: Japanese, Chinese, Western, even an Indian food restaurant."

"the early and late hour shuttle services to & from hotel to HND airport (international and regional terminals) was convenient. The location was in walkable distance to the train station so I was able to quickly get around the city in the 3 days I visited. The options for breakfast were simple but nevertheless helped me kick start my days while beating jetlag. The rooms are clean and the bed was cozy. I had a package delivered to me by japan wireless in advance of my stay, and the desk staff was able to accommodate this without issues, where I was able to pickup on the day of my arrival. I stayed here for an impromptu family trip from Los Angeles to Tokyo, and although the amenities are simple - it did satisfied the basic needs for this family trip - Free Wifi, Laundry on site, Coffee, breakfast, bed, transport, etc. I see this place is most perfect for weary business and world travelers alike looking for a simple experience that's still notable of Japan. Thank you Keikyu. "

"the location of hotel is great as it is near the kuramae metro station. if you travel from haneda airport, taking the keikyu line will bring you straight to the kurame station which is just a 8 mins walk to the hotel. we have also travel on this same line to get to yokohama city which is super convinence. on the adjacent, same named kurame station but on the teoi odeo line, which is 4 min walk to the hotel, will allow you to any part of tokyo as it has many connect station which allows you to get on other metro line. the onsen facilties is great. as like all tokyo hotel reviews, which tells you that the room are small, so is the en-suite toilet in our room. we hardly use the shower in the toilet and take our shower in the onsen faciltiies which is free. this is especially most welcoming when you come back from a whole day of travelling and walking around the city. "If you enjoy shopping and want shopping mall/stores and food to be right at your doorstep, this hotel is wonderful. Convenient coffee shop right inside the hotel and a family mart to get snacks, etc right next door. The hotel will hold your luggage if you arrive early or have a late checkout. Rooms are small/efficient/clean but most typical hotels in Tokyo are small. There was enough room to fit 2 large and 2 small suitcases and we can still maneuver in the room. Also if you like popular urban street wear stores like Supreme/BAPE like my son, they are just a few blocks away. "

"We weren't sure we would be able to make it to our hotel in Tokyo seeing as we were landing at about 10.30 pm at Haneda Int'l Airport so we decided to book this hotel. It was a brilliant decision because we were dragging our little boy around after a 6-hour flight and we all needed to just find somewhere to rest. The shuttle bus was very convenient. The front desk staff spoke good enough English and were very helpful. And most memorable was our first ramen meal in Japan at the ramen shop just opposite the hotel. It was super yummy! Rooms were small but that's to be expected. The room was very clean and my 5-year old remembers the JAL hotel very fondly as his favourite hotel."

"I wasn't expecting much from this hotel as I was just staying overnight before an early flight tomorrow. I was a dad travelling alone with two young kids 3 and 5. I checked in early with bags and proceeded to go back out to Central Tokyo. I took a taxi out and the train back. I was expecting a bad location for heading back out. Unexpectedly the train was FASTER than the taxi and it was so convenient with restaurants nearby and convenience stores around the corner. Honestly I could have stayed in this hotel instead of the one in Central Tokyo as travelling time was just 30 minutes. The two ladies at the front desk were the MOST HELPFUL out of the four hotels I stayed in (and this was cheapest too) and they went out of their way to help me, including my luggage. The help I received in this hotel was much more than the others I've stayed. Being a dad alone with two little kids, I was extremely grateful for their help. Not to mention they had the best English too."

"This is a very cute hotel! My family warned me that I wouldn't find anything decent without paying outrageous prices last minute time during the X-mas/New Year's. I stumbled across this great find on Agoda. Pricing was so amazing that I was afraid I was getting snoped. I couldn't be more wrong! This is not a large, extravagant 5 star hotel, but more of a smaller 4-5 star hotel with good service, amenities and a 24-hour restaurant on the premise with exquisite 4-5 star food and service! Most hotel rooms in Japan are fairly small. The rooms at this hotel are pleasantly larger than I expected, shower and bathing area very nice, everything is very clean and comfortable. Added pluses are the grocery store and convenience market next to the hotel and plenty of great restaurants just a few steps away. I'd love to keep this wonderful find a secret! I love Asakusa, because it's not as congested as some of the Tokyo cities. I will definitely come back here the next time I visit Tokyo again!!"

"Looking for a hotel is one of the most arduous and critical decisions one makes when one travels. There are so many considerations to be made. In my last trip to Tokyo from the 26th of February to the 4th of March. I found the one hotel I will be staying in every time I visit Tokyo. That hotel is JR KYUSHU BLOSSOM HOTEL SHINJUKU! I absolutely love this hotel. First, the location is key. It is right off the JR Shinjuku Station. Just take the Koshu Kaido exit then turn left and follow the road down. The hotel is less than 5 minutes away in a small quiet alley right off the main road. This is ideal because it makes it quiet. The lobby is big and clean and the rooms are bigger than the average Tokyo hotel room size. The bathroom though is MY FAVORITE thing about the room. I'm actually thinking of redesigning my bathroom to look like the bathroom in this hotel. What I would love though is if the hotel had a small fitness center. The internet was fast and reliable. I love this Hotel!"
