Beautiful location in the middle of the Mekong delta, surrounded by farms, canals, and overlooking the Mekong river. A bit of a ride (12 km) from Vinh Long city so contact them to set up pickup (they have bikes and motorbikes to rent). Gorgeous, a beautiful courtyard with statues, pavilions, and fruit trees everywhere; free breakfast, fruit and homemade ice cream. And Thu Yan and Guillermo treat you like family. Wifi is a bit weak, but they let you use their computer. This is the Mekong escape I was looking for.

We decided to visit the delta without a tour, and stayed at this homestay in An Binh. It was a great way to see what life is like there, and they were very helpful. One sister found us as we went to get on the ferry from Vinh Long and called her sister to pick us up on the other side. They paid for our ferry trip and drove us to their house. Family dinners were delicious, there was a mosquito net in our room, and the boat trip was cheaper with fewer passengers than others we saw. The only major problem we had was with food. We couldn’t get lunch at the house so we had to find it ourselves. All the shops we went into in An Binh wouldn’t serve us, so we had to take the ferry to Vinh Long to eat. It’s not a huge issue, but make sure you bring snacks or be prepared to travel a little bit to get your lunch.

Very good location. We are 2 French and were in the Twin Room. It's clean and very comfortable. Beautiful garden. The hosts are very welcoming and accomodating. Breakfast and dinner are delicious and cooked by the family. Bikes are available for free. The husband organizes boat tours to discover the island and its surroundings. He is very attentive, lets us take our time. We enjoyed a 6h boat ride on the mekong with a visit to the Cai Be Floating Market, a garden with honey / tea tasting, a factory of homemade sweets and the Tam Ho Farm ($ 15 per nobody, cheaper if other people join you). It was wonderful. Do not hesitate to ask for help with transport, they can help you to book your tickets and take you to the ferry. We will come again without hesitation !!!

Five friends and I stayed at this homestay for three nights. It was one of the highlights of our trip (three weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia). The place is out of the way in a small commune/village in the Mekong Delta. It's actually closer to Can Tho than Vinh Long. We got motorcycle taxis from the bus station. It's worth the trek. They have two buildings--one dorm room, the rest of the rooms are private. The bungalow has three private rooms with private toilet/shower. The kids at the place basically run the show because they have the best English. They'll become your best friends. The other staff is also super friendly. You can explore the village, see tropical fruit orchards, rice fields, go for a bike ride, visit the local school. The first day you get a tour of the Can Tho floating market--a boat leaves directly from the village. The food was amazing, with fried fish and other local specialties. Hammocks, comfortable chairs, and beer complete the experience and make it a great pit stop for relaxation in the middle of a long trip. The place gets new guests every day, so it's also a great place to meet new people.

We was only one night here and we really regret it. If possible, book at least two nights, allowing you an entire day on the island. They offer boat tours and we had to decline because we were in a hurry (that's why allow an entire full day here). At least we were able to visit the island by bicycle, these can be rented for free. Otherwise they also have motorbikes but can't remember the price. The fan room can be upgrated to a/c for 4usd. Breakfast was delicius and filled us. We would definitely come back. Ferry from Vinh Long cost 1000 vnd per person/way. Nam thanh homestay booked us a bus to HCMC, this was very helpful.
