I’m found the stay perfect good location as it’s close to Liverpool, Warrington & Manchester great atmosphere in hotel, facilities are wicked offers a lot more then the average travelodge n premier inn computer console, cocktail bar, pool table and restaurant and staff at the bar was polite, friendly and very welcoming also great inroon films and room services so perfect pick for a hotel at a great price for the room I think the only thing that lets it down a tad is food price and drink price a little bit expensive in my eyes but I’d still 100% recommend this hotel thanks guys...

Very smart hotel with lovely bar and seating area which was clean and tidy at all times. Room was also a very high standard... Clean and good size. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful at all times even tho a wedding was taking place at the time and were very busy. However, there was certain aspects that spoilt our stay I am sad to say. When we arrived we wanted to get a drink as we had travelled a long distance. We were surprised to be told (quite abruptly I am sorry to add) by a member that we had spend over £15 to be able to use our card, as we had no cash and that there was not a cash machine within the hotel. We really thought a hotel of this size would have had a cash machine. We were told nearest was "5 minutes down the road walk". It was by no means just a 5 minutes walk and was quite surprised the lengths we had to go to just to enjoy a drink in our hotel bar. £15 limit seemed a little steep and the member of staff, who understandably bust with wedding guests, was rather rude. Which was a shame as all other staff were most pleasant. The other issue was not being able to get a connection anywhere in the hotel. Neither me or my partner could get a signal and had 'no signal' the majority of our stay. Even when trying the hotels free wifi, our phones just wouldnt work. This caused no end of confusion and missed important calls.

Great pub/hotel for a stay. Set in lovely countryside and near to airport and train station is a short taxi ride away. Staff are highly professional and very friendly. They make the place a pleasure to stay at as they can't do enough for you. Lovely rooms, nice breakfast and restaurant area looking over the countryside. Lovely old style bar area. Food exceptionally nice - really high standard and although you are in a pub - the fare is high class restaurant standard. I marked facilities down a bit - only no iron/ironing board in the room although I believe this is available. Airport taxi was a fixed fee of 47 pounds as you are 'over the boundary line' being in the Warringon area. This is about 10 pounds more than the meter.
