My room was very nice. Fresh furnishings very clean, a high standard of accommodation. However the room was very hot and I could only turn the thermostat down to 3, it would not move any lower so I opened the window. Unfortunately there was a huge air conditioning unit outside which was rather noisy. However the hotel was lovely and even though it was busy, except for when we first arrived and it took forever to get served in the Orangery and we had to ask twice for cutlery and never ever got the water we asked for, the rest of the service was very good. The meal at the event we went to in the evening was very good, especially considering the numbers being served. My room did not include breakfast which was disappointing for the price but I was aware of this but my friends did get breakfast and they were very disappointed, especially when compared to the meal the night before.
