Fantastic view and great service”
We enjoyed our stay immensely - breathtaking views to the ocean, beautiful surroundings, super helpful and friendly staff ready to help with any requests and trip arrangements, nice restaurant with decent prices, comfy and clean rooms! Not on a sandy beach, but there are stairs leading down into the ocean, which is really nice for snorkelling. Resort location can feel bit remote for some, but we didn't miss anything, on the contrary were very happy to soak up the views without the noises of more populated beaches. Otherwise, Alona beach is just 10mins ride away if more activity would be desired. Foodwise there's also a great japanese restaurant Udzuki just 10mins walk away from the resort - highly recommend to have at least 1 dinner there!

Such a beautiful place 💞”
I want to upload photos and videos, but I don't know how...ㅠㅠ On the day I visited, there were a few people using the cafe, but I think I was the only guest staying overnight 😅 The swimming pool is beautiful and well-maintained. The room condition is clean and decent. Even though I was alone in the restaurant, the staff kindly served me until the scheduled time, so I had no problem with meals and had all three meals 😊 The breakfast was also good! The pork chop was delicious too! There are stairs leading down to the sea, so if you go at the right time, it's even better and you can snorkel enough. (Life jackets can be rented for 350 pesos per day) It's so beautiful and pretty on the cliff. There is also a pool bar, so if you swim and have a cocktail there, it's like paradise on earth ♡ The way in is not so good, but it's about 3-5 minutes from Marina Point Bay? And about 15 minutes from Alona Beach, so it's enough to arrive in 20 minutes! When you leave, if you ask for a car or tuktuk, they will call it for you. I went out on a friend's motorcycle, but be careful!! (You can definitely go safely) I highly recommend it, it's so beautiful!

Location is both a disadvantage and an advantage”
The hotel is quite far from the city center, making it inconvenient to come and go. We paid about 200 pesos for a tuk-tuk from Alona Beach. Also, because you have to pass an unpaved road in the middle, you need to hold on tight because it shakes a lot... lol. But if you go down that road, you'll find a secluded view restaurant. You can see the clear sea, and there is no noise around, so you can hear the sound of cicadas and waves at night. There are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, but there is a water purifier in the hotel, and the restaurant prices are reasonable, so we were satisfied with the use of the internal facilities. The air conditioner is a bit old, but the room is spacious and nice. There is also a snorkeling spot under the stairs, but there is no safety officer, so be careful. You can rent a life jacket for a fee at the hotel.

A hotel I want to keep to myself”
Reserved 2 rooms for a family of 5. Tuk-tuk to Alona Beach costs around 200-250 pesos. The hotel is great for a vacation despite the very bumpy road (puddles, rough roads..). Best value for money. We played at Alona Beach in the morning and enjoyed the sunset at the pool in the evening, unforgettable. There are tubes in the pool, and the stars pouring down at night are the best, there are also fireflies!! Top value for money... highly recommended.

Quiet and relaxing”
This place is perfect! It is a tranquil place yet very near to the happenings of Alona. You even have your own access to snorkelling spot. Just jump right into the clear ocean waters as you wake up. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food is also a good value. Not too expensive. You can even be picked up by tour boat tours onsite as it has its own dock. If you want to relax and have fun, book here!

Rooms good size staff awesome food lami kaayo. Very good food options fish and chips , crepes were sobra. The kids stayed in the pool playing. Beds comfortable and the view awesome. Onsite parking and motorcycle rental is convenient.

The ameneties were superb. The staff were welcoming & very accomodating. Definitiely enjoyed the suite upgrade that Julia did for us. The heated pool at night is a plus too. Cliffside Resort”
Quiet and away from the hustle & bustle and noise of Alona beach. Short tuk tuk ride into town (ps150-200 if you haggle). Staff are great. Food and drinks are good value for money. Good portion sizes and really tasty. Beer is cold, and cocktail happy hour. Housekeepers not automatically done daily. Just ask and the freshen your room up. Seaside rooms are great with plenty of space and a lovely indoor terrace that can open up. Rough road from main road to the resort. Don't be put off by that. The peace and quiet with awesome views food accommodation, pool and staff make up for that

i was looking for a peaceful place to re energize after traveling to Bohol and Cliffside Resort was the perfect place for my needs. The staff was both friendly and helpful, our suite was spacious and very clean.
