The room was very clean comfy mattress and crisp white sheets . Dated miss matched furniture but adequate. The only thing that let it down was cobwebs on the cornice lots of them . Ok for one night . Staff helpful and tea and coffee before we left . Value for money .

was very disappointed with the location and lack of amenities (no breakfast) I'm 83 yrs. old and was put in attic room with total of 37 steps not very good at all staff were friendly that's all the good I Can say about MY OVERNIGHT STAY

Clean but tired room”
We only stayed one night and whilst the hotel was clean our room had a hole punched in the bathroom door, two bulbs were missing from the central light, there was no bedside table and a tube light was missing from the side and oh the blind only came down half way in the velux. The beds were comfy though.

10 min bus ride to Newcastle train station - the refurbishment done to the hotel, is great however, no kettle in room but there is coffee/tea available by the bar - needs hanging hooks in bathroom & needs anight stand with lamp , to complete the room

Not remotely central as someone previously reviewed said. Ok for people who drive as it has parking. Shower poor. Light blinds and curtains meant as soon as it was light(around 4am) I woke up. seems to be full of builders and workmen staying there. They were up around 6am and the walls are very thin so any chance of going back to sleep was lost. But if your in that Industry or drive then this might be for you. As bed decent. As was pillows. Staff seemed friendly too

Ok budjet hotel”
Ok budjet hotel in Newcastle with nice staff and good price. A bit from city centre (20 minutes walk). The check out time was 11:00 o´clock but the staff opened the door to the room twice before 11:00 and reminde that the check out was 11:00 and also shouted out in the hole building that check out time is 11:00 to all guests. But it was a nice stay at this hotel and I can recomend it.

I stayed there in a single room as a solo traveler, my first visit to Newcastle in April 2022 to visit family. The room was immaculately clean and warm. It was nicely decorated with new windows, blinds and curtains. The bed was very comfortable. The gardens and grounds were well kept. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be using the Clifton Hotel for my next visit.

Stayed in better hostels. How is this 3star?”
Wonky pictures, smallest TV above toilet door, having to go buy a cup to get a drink of water. No coffee or tea facilities and wifi was somebody’s iPhone which seemed a bit scary. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
