"It is within 5-10 minutes walk away from the Park Street and 10-15 minutes walks away from the city centre. Clifton Village is right around the corner as well. Location wise, it is perfect. Even though the room is quite small, it is complete with bathtub, and full tray of coffee/tea making facilities which I particularly love."

"We have stayed many times before and have always enjoyed our stay. We have only had breakfast at the hotel as there are so many wonderful restaurants nearby, but the buffet breakfast is very good. The hotel is 'honest' it does not pretend to be something it is not and suitably caters for all our needs for a weekend in Clifton. Be careful at Christmas if you wish to go to bed before midnight. There are always lively functions within the hotel and the music is played until midnight, so just ask for a suitable room not above the bar if you do wish to retire early, but then again, in Clifton who would?"

"We did not expect the Ritz but we did experience some issue that could easily be rectified as follows ; 1) Our room (no 28) was ok in size for a one night stay but the carpet had to be seen to be believed, it was just worn out in places. The bathroom had a soap dispenser over the bath but if you sat in the bath facing the taps, the dispenser was impossible to reach! 2) Breakfast - when we came down at about 9.20 there did not seem to be anyone managing the sitting. One member of staff was mopping the floor. There were no cups/glasses for drinks, the hot water and coffee ran out and best of all was the toaster - this had a mind of its own and was totally useless."
