        recommended to friends and family already, and cannot rate this place highly enough.”

        Simple check in process, friendly greeting, and warm welcome, rooms all on ground floor, and easily accessible, staff were knowledgeable of the local area, so can answer questions for attractions etc., the room was well presented, clean, and comfortable, and very quiet, breakfast was excellent, and plentiful, and we asked for extra tea and coffee at breakfast and got these at no extra cost and we were not rushed through breakfast, unfortunately we did partake of the restaurant facilities for the evening meal, but other members of our family did and they said it was excellent food and service. Bar is well stocked and fairly priced.....
        Rooms heating system was on and this made the room a little warm for our liking for the first night but afterwards it cooled down to a temperature that we like for us, but It was warm and cosy, and probably a more acceptable temperature for many other guests, we like our rooms a little colder for us...

        The room was gorgeous had lovely shortcake biscuits and coffee tea with kettle plus water bottle was very clean and very new. Was so good having access to pub and car park on one level. Pub interior super with shutters a good feel and decor breakfast cooked perfect. Would love to stay again.
        Was all perfect I could not fault anything the bedding decor breakfast all superb loved it. The price was the same as travel lodge but everything was so much better

        I travel for work all of the time. The CoB is.my favourite place.when travelling to Chester and Wrexham. Rooms are finished to an extremely high standard and the shower and toilets are superb. I have a touch of old regarding cleanliness and thus place is perfect for me. The bar, restaurant and breakfast are top end also and the prices are reasonable.

        This is hotel quality accommodation with comfortable rooms, great food & service in a great location. Even with COVID restrictions the restaurant &bar had relaxed atmosphere and staff worked really hard to look after guests always with a smile. Loved this place & will return!
        It would be good to find COVID secure way to provide hangers & small soap in rooms.

        amazing set out room, lovely views!! It was spotless clean, we had breakfast the next morning included in the price and it was fabulous!! we dined in the restaurant in the evening, staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough to help, friendly, we had a lovely evening with amazing food!

        Welcoming staff, happy to ensure you had a good stay. Rooms set around courtyard away from bar and restaurant. Rooms look daily new build very spacious, well equipped, very comfortable beds. Staff great. Meals were great and reasonable price. Highly recommend

        I liked the whole place. The decor was lovely and atmosphere was so relaxed. The staff were really helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
        We could hear noise from the rooms next door. The guests were particularly noisy but the walls must be thin or no sound proofing. For example I could easily make out their conversation and the sound of their TV. I could hear their mobile vibrating on the furniture and the sound of the phone alarm when it went off in the morning.

        All of the staff were lovely and really child friendly. The extras put in the room for my child were great. The room was clean and cosy, it was much better than expected. The parking isn’t far from your room, which is another bonus.

        It was spotlessly clean. All of the staff are polite helpful and friendly. The food is fresh home cooked and delicious.
        It just felt different due to Covid 19 for example no finishing touches like the biscuits in the bedroom. Less of an atmosphere.

        The staff were lovely and very welcoming! The food was wonderful with plenty of choice, we stayed in the Moorhen room in the court yard it was beautiful and extremely clean. Only 15 minutes from Chester by car. We would definitely stay again

        well worth the money and when the restaurant was open it was excellent”

        Very good breakfast main but no cereal, yoghurt or fruit. it was limited to the main breakfast. staff were excellent and helpful.
        The only issue was the availability of food and serving times. Kitchen closes at 8pm and not open at all on Monday even for guest of the hotel so had to get a local takeaway to deliver to the hotel. They staff again were very accommodating and provided plates etc
