Comfortable hotel with beautiful art, excellent staff”
I am a returning guest at Coco Grande and make it a point to stay here two or so nights on my annual visit to Dumaguete CIty. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the food is good and inexpensive to the international traveler, the rooms and premises are kept clean. A definite plus is the number of skillfully-executed paintings by local artists on the walls of its halls and reception, as well as the size of the rooms. Restaurants, the ocean front, shops and laundry are a short stroll or tricycle ride away.

The location is perfect, the staff is exceptional like all Coco places. We only ate breakfasts there but the food is really good. Quiet, accommodating, a special thank you to all the ladies and men for the excellent time there.

the room is bigger than expected. They provide towels, toothbrush and toiletries too. For the free breakfast, you can choose if you want American, continental or Filipino cuisine and the serving is generous enough. We will definitely book this hotel again if we go back to Dumaguete.

Exceptional”
The room we booked was great, bigger than we expected. It was clean and the linens seemed freshly laundered. Staff was also efficient, helpful and approachable. The entire process of checking in and out was smooth as well. Would have given a perfect rating if it wasn’t for the airconditioning. The room was too big and the aircon capacity was not enough to keep the room cold. It wasn’t hot but it wasn’t cold either.

Very pleasent stay”
Just spent one night here on our way up the coast. Very good little hotel, the staff were super helpful to us newbies, and the room very generously proportioned. Really only minor niggles - that anyone with minimal DIY skills should be able to overcome.

Nice big rooms”
Lovely big rooms. Modern bathroom. Nice hot water.Bed & pillows comfy. A/C was effective.Breakfastt small but ok, delicious brewed coffee & real juices. Approximately 15 min walk to centre of town. Our only negative was the check in. Whilst checking us in the receptionist took a phone call ,so we we're then kinda rushed, as she wanted to talk with the person on the phone rather than carry on with our checking in. But overall...a good clean comfortable hotel.

0 wifi, staff English is poor, staff is indifferent to all the many problems. Strong chemical smell in the hotel. Have to wait up to 30 minutes for a trike to get anywhere in town. 0 help from the hotel. Uncomfortable bed, old towels, bathroom faucet did not work. Toilet did not work. Stressful stay, try another place to stay.

Nice hotel. Enjoyed our stay. Dated but well maintained interior with nice artwork and unique furniture. Breakfast fresh although on an unchanging menu with 3 preselected options to choose from (Filipino, American, and Continental). My only complaint is that this is a smoking hotel, designated smoking areas are throughout the interior of the property, which can permeate rooms.

Good price, cooked to order breakfast, clean, friendly, helpful staff. Our room was very nice and not cookie cutter corporate furnishings. The Spa is not open yet. Nice outdoor sitting area on the second floor and located adjacent to Silliman University...just a short walk to downtown Dumaguete. We have been traveling for 4 months in Asia and this hotel felt homey and accommodating.
