The hotel is so tired. The design doesn’t make sense. Fake Grecian statues painted with bronze spray paint everywhere , artwork that takes away from the natural beauty of the buildings, too much artwork & not appropriate subject matter. The design takes away from the fabulous view. Overall it’s old ( not good old) Crystal chandeliers that date the building. All the fabrics are dated and the furnishing are not authentic to a Bermudian look. The location was perfect the hotel a total disappointment. The bed was comfortable the room design was old , tired dated. The bathrooms need updating. I am a hotel designer. I think most of this could be updated cosmetically and with a lot of white paint. Had a wonderful experience on this hotel whilst on a holiday. Comfortable beds/rooms, winning ambience overlooking the sea. Beautiful façade and well kept gardens. The food is spectacular both locals and international.
