Knew the area from previous visits, Columba House was our last stop so we booked a four-poster room to give a final boost. Room was very pleasant, with shuttered georgian windows to the garden. Hotel restaurant - The Garden Room - was billed as one of the best in the area, we agree.

Staff were friendly, and helpful we had a problem with our bill at the end of our stay but they were able to fix it with no problems. The hotel is next to a train line which we didnt know about fortunately there were none during the night.
