Very close to yamagata train station and the bus station. Breakfast was simple yet delicious. Free flow coffee was provided too which is impressive. All the staff were great & welcoming.

Excellent Location”
The hotel is very close to the JR Station. About 5 mins walking distance and the bridge has escalator and lift so if you have big luggages, you don't have to worry you need to carry down and up the stairs. Beside the hotel is family Mart and around the area has alot of eatery. The staff is very nice and friendly. Only setback is the room air conditioning is set to heater in winter so there is no way to change to air con mode. However, we are advise that we can open the windows that made our stay comfortable. The area is a bit rowdy as there are a lot of drinking and eating places around but nice town to stay. Nothing much around unless you rent a car and drive out. Across the street there are 2 car rentals company which you can rent cars.

Very near to Station. Decent breakfast and supportive staff. During late night not too many options nearby. Just walk little and you will find many options to eat and enjoy.

Affordable for location”
Good place to stay if you want to go Mount Zao and Ginzan Onsen without splurging on accom. Buy ¥5000/ pax pass that covers return bus and ropeway from JR Yamagata station. JR east pass will cover local train to Oishida station and pay about ¥700+ for one way to Ginzan Onsen. Take note of their low bus frequency & prepare exact change. Hotel is 1 min walk from JR Yamagata station, with Family Mart downstairs and 1 min away from their local dept store and super mart where you can buy cheap food. Restaurants here are relatively more exp than Tokyo.

Basic but comfortable hotel - near to train station and thus a good option for a quick stopover if just transitioning through Yamagata city. The included Breakfast was surprisingly varied considering the very economical price we paid for our room.
