It's very very cheap to stay here and it's absolutely fine, it's clean and the beds are comfy, it's not going to win any prizes for decor or facilities but it is what it is a great cheap place to stay right outside new street station

It has a wonderful location.I loved going to all food joints, superstores,train stations, bus stations and many more within minutes walk. Wish this hotel could provide with some more facilities like a fridge ,air conditioner and at least a proper bed.

I wanted somewhere to stay within walking distance of the Conservative party conference. Most places were full and after a couple of hours searching found the comfort inn which checked all the boxes. Its an older hotel but was very clean, the staff friendly and served an excellent breakfast. It would be my first choice on a subsequent visit to Birmingham and is easy walking distance from New Street and Moor street stations.

All we needed with great service”
We had every possibility of difficulties with our booking because of extensive flight delays, but everything was handled extremely well and with a smile (over the phone). Location is great, especially as we were transitting Birmingham by train. Very much a traditional English hotel - you can read old fashioned - but our room, while smaller than contemporary hotel rooms, was clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

Central Location; Friendly Staff”
Our rate through Agoda included a full English breakfast and they were really hefty! The spread was substiantial and satisfying. Location is a few minutes walk from Birmingham New Street Station - it was so near the taxi driver gave us instructions rather than drive us there and charge us. The young man at the reception desk was friendly and gave us tips on where to go and what to do in Birmingham.

Can’t be beaten for location if you have an early or late train”
This hotel is good value for money and is 30 seconds walk to the entrance of Birmingham new street station. That said, it’s quite dated and the rooms were very hot during the summer months (although the receptionist provided me with a fan at no extra cost). Friendly staff. Would use again at that price

This hotel is fantastic in terms of location. Right next to the New Street train station, it is very central and just right for commuting by train. The shopping center Pallasades is just at the train station and has a good mix of shops. It also connects to the Bullring. Hotel is comfortable. Has a quaint old fashioned lift. Rooms are spacious, bathroom adequate. First room i stayed had pretty noisy bathroom exhaust fan, second room was fine. Friendly and helpful service by reception. Would stay again and again!

It's a basic budget hotel. The location is good, but our room (3rd floor) lacked enough water pressure for the shower to work properly. The springs in the bed made it very uncomfortable, and difficult to sleep. For the price it's okay, but if returning to Birmingham we'd probably spend a bit more for some comfort.
