I stayed on a high floor and had an amazing view of the sea. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. It also had cooking facilities. The staff were friendly and the hotel had many things available for borrowing, including cooking utensils. The location of the hotel is great, right next to American Village. You don't have to worry about finding restaurants, and there is an AEON nearby to buy daily necessities. There is also free parking, but it is first come, first served! It's a good choice for self-driving travelers!

Very close to Little Tokyo, within walking distance. There is a parking lot available and there were still spots available around 4 pm. The room is large and comfortable, and it feels like it can accommodate three people easily. Although it has two single beds, the hotel staff helped us combine them. It seems like they are single beds that can be combined to make a larger bed, so two people can sleep on one.

A few steps from the beach and in American Village, this convenient location can’t be beat for the price. Generously sized rooms and an ocean view every time. A pleasant stay and it was very quiet even for a rowdy Saturday night crowd.

This is my go to when staying in American Village in Okinawa where I also go shore diving with a 5 mins drive away. Big supermarket, Aeon around and lots of restaurants. Beach is just a minute away. Clean and big rooms with balcony and small kitchenette. Great service from staff.

Perfect location for your get away”
I fully enjoyed my stay at Chatan Beachside Condo Monpa. The location was excellent conveniently on the beach and located across the street from American Village plus a stones throw to the local us military bases. Our room was clean, loved the shower room. When hubby checked in and I asked if the desk spoke English he said very little but when I went down to exchange our towels I had no problem understanding the staff. They really make an extra effort to converse in English. Note you are responsible for daily tidying of your room. My hubby wished they would have come in to collect the trash but he had no other complaints. I had to use my Google translator to understand the condo's policies as everything was in Japanese. Keep in mind that you will have to pay for parking. I will definitely choose this location to stay on my next visit to Okinawa

Clean and cozy condominium”
In my opinion, this condominium is located in the best place in Okinawa. There are many shopping shops and grate restaurants within a 3 minute walking distance. Also, petty beach in front of this condo is very clean. Plus, the sunset at this beach is very wonderful. Since the room is very big, three people can be stay in one room. (In one room, there are two single bed and one sofa bed.) Microwave and electric stove are installed. So, you can cook the food in the room if you borrow cookware from the lobby. However, building is under construction right next to the condo. So, you can see construction equipment that blocks some noise and landscapes during the day. Considering the construction status, it is expected to be completed before next spring. Anyway, I would like to stay here again if I come back to Okinawa. Staying at this accommodation at this price is really fantastic.

Good hotel in a great location. ”
Sitting just steps away from the beach with shopping, restaurants, and fun activities all nearby, Monpa is a great hotel for you. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have the amenities we needed. Since we were only there for three nights we decided against paying for the maid service (it’s not included in the price). But if you take your shoes off when you come in and are otherwise not messy, you won’t need it. You can exchange towels one for one at the front desk for no additional costs, though. Overall, well worth the it for the location and nice rooms.

Good value for money”
Price is very good, just half price of the Vessel Hotel which is several blocks away. Monpa hotel is just by the side of America village, only 50 metres distance, and very close to the beach. Room is very large, I guess it is more than 50 sq. Metres in size, with 2 large bed and a pantry. The bath room is large also.

I have stayed at Monpa several times. It is always clean with friendly staff at a reasonable price. The internet was off and on, but not bad. The shower was awesome with plenty of hot water. It is centrally located with easy access to American Village and Sunset Beach.

Very clean, large size hotel”
The hotel was perfect. Very close to Sunset Beach (1 minute) with nice view. Room size was also big compare to other Okinawa Hotel. A/C, hair dryer, fridge.. Everything was all in. However, the parking lot was not enough use, so we used the public. And there was a construction while we were staying. It's not noisy but trucks are moving so people with baby need to aware.

you can't beat it's location and the spacious room”
while the rooms looks a little dated but its well-maintained and clean! The reception staff spoke reasonably good English, friendly and helpful so there is no problem at all. The condo parking lots indeed fill up fast and dont expect any free lot after 6pm till next morning after people starts to check out. This should not be a huge issue since there are enough free parking lots just walking distance (like 5 mins walk) away in which the reception staff will advise you with a map. Not sure if there is any restaurant on site as we did not include in our room rate but with the American Village right beside, why would we need to dine on site, there are more than enough choices just walking out of the condo. Will stay here again if we are back in Okinawa and visiting American Village again!

Monpa in American Village”
Excellent location inside American Village, Okinawa. Room spartan-like simplicity, all white, no decoration, but pleasing. . Had sofa, dressing table, tv (allJspanese-soeaking shows), full bath, shower, toilet, dressing area. Two full size beds verrry firm. Did nit oike pillows, foam oeklets which made pillow kind of hard, and hard to encourage sleep. But very clean. Table for eating with 4 wicker stools. Small 3-comoartment refrigerator, microwave, stovetop. No kitchen or eating utensils, pots -bring some with you.. pkenty cabinet space for clothes, food, sundries. The best - a entire- wall sliding glasd door which opens either side, with E. China Sea seaside views lovely, on the side with no breeze to speak of, even at night (unlike those rooms elsewhere in the area facing the wind other ways), overlooking beach area and outdoor picnic tabke area that locals frequent on the weekends. Only time a littke loud - Fri. Night. Safe location for women. No pool, but, then, you are right on the beach! Breakfast provided with room ontained using a card the hotel gives you at the Kai Restaurant (& full bar) across the street. Would stay there again.

Most of the monpa staffs dont really speak english which is not a problem to me BUT there is one female staff who can speak better english has some attitude problem.

Every hardware is nice, the stuff is lack of smile which quite surprise me in Okinawa, if u are going by driving, please remember to email hotel for car park reservation .
