Close to the airport”
We wanted a place close to Heathrow and to Windsor. This B&B fitted our requirements perfectly. It's an older house with bedrooms on two floors. There is private parking behind a security gate and a nice flower garden to sit in. Our room, on the second floor, was clean and the bed was comfortable. Tea/coffee was provided in the room. It was hot upstairs but there was a ceiling fan plus a table fan (we also opened a small window). The breakfast room looked over the gardens and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend the Cottage B&B as value for money.

Good service”
This B & B is a very good find if you are driving. We stayed for a night before our flight. It is situated in a very bleak area near Heathrow Airport but it is an Oasis which has a courtyard guarded by high walls with an automated entrance door. There is nothing around it but a pub. So you probably can walk and eat there. We drove to the nearest town for a meal. It was surprisingly quiet. The room was spacious and has clean and spacious shower room with a good shower. The interior was cheap and basic, but clean and sufficient. Even they gave us complimentary bottles of water in a fridge. English Breakfast was inclusive. It was OK but who can expect with this price. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely stay with them again.

Perfect location with peace & quiet”
This place is perfect after a long flight to Heathrow. We never heard any aircraft noise when we stayed here. It's rated as 4-star, but I’m fairly sure the English AA rating for guest houses is not as strict as for hotels (feel free to correct me). Bear this in mind when you’re shown your room and think ‘oh my lord, is this really 4-star?!’. It feels like a luxurious youth hostel, but not a hotel. The breakfast makes up for it, especially with a view of the garden. Also the security here is extremely tight - perhaps strangely so. The entrance to the car park will only open after you press the bell and wave to the camera. Maybe the owner is worried about car thefts. The Queen’s Head pub across the road is well worth a visit. The landlord looks a bit intimidating, but he turned out to be very polite and welcoming. The pub itself is popular with the locals, so we heard the landlord asking ‘how’s your wife, Bob?’ and other little banter. If you’re from overseas and just stopping by, this is an extra treat and ever so British.

Not as good as I'd hoped...”
i was a bit disappointed as i chose this b&b (and paid more than i generally prefer to) as i'd had some poor experiences when staying in the same area. i was impressed by the reviews which said how quiet it was considering the location - i'm sure these are correct if you're lucky to get a ground floor, garden facing room but, unfortunately, i got a first floor room who's window was close to a very busy junction - very noisy when open and quite noisy when closed! i also couldn't get the wifi to connect, not a major disaster but a pain when you're on a business trip. on the good side, despite being so close to heathrow there was very little aircraft noise.

Friendly staff, convenient location”
I got a little lost finding the place at night but the friendly staff went out to meet me. Manage to arrive before 11pm and was infrmed that there's no one available after that time. Single room was very spacious compared to other places I have stayed before where single rooms are like pigeon holes. Breakfast was fantastic, they serve full English breakfast or you can select other types. Had a full hearty breakfast before my next flight. It's a convenient place if you have an early morning flight at heathrow. Will come again.

Comfortable, effective, value”
One night stop over before flying from Heathrow, I found the guest house clean, accessible and very good for my purpose. The staff were attentive and helpful and it would have been easily comfortable there for anything up to a week. The breakfast was ample and tasty and staff quick and helpful. Check-in and out very quick and easy. I would stay again in similar circumstances.

Oasis amidst the rain”
we arrived dripping from heathrow bus a little early for checkin. no probs. extremely warm and helpful welcome with room upgrade and early checkin. on learning of our very early checkout, juice, cereal, milk and yoghurt was supplied to our room later in the afternoon so we didn't head off to airport on an empty stomach. the room was like a warm, cosy retreat for us with underfloor heat in the modern bathroom a treat for the feet! will definitely recommend.

It's my second time staying at this place. They have a beautiful garden. It's quiet surroundings and gated so a reassurance of neing very safe. Allows you to catch a good night sleep and yet very convenient if you have to catch an early flight out at Heathrow.

Cosy place not too far away to enjoy London”
A quiet place at Hunslow off the A4. Proprietor are very helpful and nice. Although a B&B, breakfast choice is not complete, e.g. only fried eggs but not scrambled, sausage or bacon but not both. Rooms are considerably large and decent. WIFI, though available is so spotty to be practically unusable.

At first look of the street not great, and the hotel entrance little hard to find. But hotel room and gardens were nice and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had trouble finding hotel as no area code was on information.

Not what I expected”
It was ok. I had to leave at 7 AM and breakfast was not served until 7. I paid for breakfast and was not able to have a hot meal. They did bring me juice and yogurt and fruit to my room the night before The staff was friendly. Breakfast should start at 6 in my opinion. The rooms are a little old and need some updated furniture, bedding. The place was clean. There is a pub across the street to have lunch and dinner. Nothing else close by.
