Beautiful hotel, but couldn’t help feeling ripped off the whole time. The price is not the price, add 30% to the already expensive food and bev. Plato’s Coffee/ Pasteur shop in the Royal Towers was even adding an extra surcharge of 3.50$ surcharge, on top of the 12% and 19% because I ordered a latte, which was considered a specialty coffee. So my latte was 4.95$ + 3.50$+12%tax+19% service. I know people say dont stay here if you are going to care about the expense, and it that that we are cheap it’s just that we don’t like to be ripped off, and that’s how we felt the whole time. I also don’t think the 19% service charge is being passed on to the staff, they were over the moon whenever we tipped extra cash. Unfortunately I dont think we will go back.

The royal atlantis, a paradise in Bahamas. The facilities were wonderful and the whole resort was world class. This paradise would have captured all my praises if it just have decent level of service. Front desk was actually helpful however everyone else working in any of the restaurant/bar inside the Atlantis resort were just horrible. I just want to mention that in Atlantis, service charge is always included ane set at 15% for any purchases in restaurant/bar and you can give more in addition to that if you like. I had no problem with this rule however my wife and I noticed that the servers were aware of this rule therefore they do not exert any effort to actually give service with a smile instead they just are kind of there moving at a glacial pace and even giving attitude towards all the tourists. Personally, I will still come back to Bahamas but I will not stay in Atlantis because of the service that I experienced.

The Reef is a very pretty hotel with a modern/upscale look to it. I found the staff to be welcoming and accommodating. The room came with 2 mini fridges (one stocked with drinks and alcohol). There was also a stovetop for cooking (they provided utensils and pots and pans). I didn’t need the stove but thought it was a plus, especially if you have kids as Atlantis food is pricey. Overall, a nice property.

I have been staying in many hotels in the Bahamas and this is the first time I come across a hotel with so many fees! I stayed 1 night to pick up a fly in the morning but at the end, my night costed me 3 times the price of 1 night because of all the hiding fees. I wanted to try to see how the hotel is but never again! I am still waiting for my deposit as well after 1 week. What a scam! I will go back to the Atlantis in the future instead of the Baha mar which is much better and honest in fees!

Our stay was really good. We had a few incidents, but Jeremy, the front desk manager quickly, kindly and efficiently handled it all. He went above and beyond to take care of things. We were very appreciative. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. It really was a nice stay. Unlike most people who come to Bimini, we stayed for 7 days. Most people only stay for 2 days. We thoroughly enjoyed having lots of time to do things as well as relax. It was one of the best times we have had in a long time, and we travel a lot. The only downside to the whole trip was that food is way over-priced. Not only in the hotel, but also around the island. We easily paid $20 for breakfast each day and $20+ to easily $30 - $40+ if you eat a chicken or steak dinner - for me it was just a ceasar salad and a side dish of veges and that starts at $20 + everyone adds an 18% gratuity + tax.. it is crazy! ... so just be ready for that added expense. It was pretty shocking. We travel a lot and have never experienced such high prices for food. Other then the exorbitant food prices, it was great. We lead group spiritual journeys and will be bringing a group with us on our next visit since we had such a great experience with the hotel and around the island. It was a great stay.

Situated right in the heart of downtown Nassau (with its own private beach access), this hotel is ideal for travelers who aren’t looking for the all-inclusive resort experience... or its accompanying cost. Room rates were reasonable (in the islands everything is expensive), the amenities were decent (the beach was key), staff was Bahamas friendly, and my only gripe is the $20/night resort fee that you don’t hear about until you check in.

Bay View Suites provided me with an affordable place to stay on Paradise Island that did not disappoint. The rooms were spacious, clean & comfortable. The hotel was a short 7-10mins walk from Atlantis, restaurants, beaches & the Cloisters. Staff were friendly & helpful. Security on the front desk were always smiling & keen to give directions & recommendations. Wifi was available in the room. The hotel has two small swimming pools too.

The hotel stay was great! Harborside is a good 5 minute walk away from most of the action which we thought was nice. For the days when you rather not walk the shuttles are always conveniently there to take you around the resort. We also loved taking advantage of the Harborside pool which is much more low key and relaxing if that's what you're looking for. The meals can be quite expensive, but for those that know Atlantis understand it comes with the territory. So as much as I'd say the hotel was fair value, the restaurants were not but the service certainly made up for it. For example, be prepared to spend as much as $23USD for a drink.

From the moment we arrived we were hounded by staff as this is a timeshare property. When we declined, they basically gave little service or assistance to us. The food was expensive and not that great. The beach is nice. The room are self contained but lack proper cooking utensils and the onsite shop is exhorbitantly priced. Menu's do not include the various taxes and fees which means your left questioning where tge extra charges come from. $22usd taxi to the airport and $12usd taxi to Lucaya marina. Staff are not very friendly inless your tipping big. Island on the whole is VERY laid back with not much to do. Snorkeling was disappointing. Fork out the xtra $ and stay somewhere nice and close to other options!

I've never been to Bimini but read the reviews on the Hotels and concluded to try Big Game over the Hiltons Resort World. When I booked, the price difference was significantly different. Our intent was to be low key and relax for this trip since it was the end off October and all we wanted to do was enjoy the weather, maybe fish a little bit and snorkel. Little did we know that this is down season for Bimini so mostly everything is in limbo. When we arrived to the BBG we immediately looked at each other and said uh-oh. BBG is the oldest Hotel on the island, it's quaint but dated. The pictures online for the rooms are a little deceptive in that yes the pictures make the place look better than it really is. Again it's off season so things are not running full hilt, the room we had was a double queen that looked at the pool and was what I call basic. Bed, tv a night stand small coffee pot, and yes a bathroom. All seemed clean and for the most part was, until the roaches came to visit. Since we are used to camping, fishing, hunt camps etc it was not as unsettling as it probably should have been, and it wasn't horrendous, for most people the presence of any is horrific but we dealt with a few here and there during the night . If you are looking for beach front pampering posh posh accommodations this is not it. This is however a great spot to dock your boat, big or small. There is a great little marina side bar called sharkies that looks like it would be an awesome spot during season to hang out, but was closed, there is another called Hemingway's along side the pool that was also closed. This is the hotel to be at if your sole desire is fishing and maybe some water excursions. Stay from Sept. 4th - 13th, 2018 Yup…long stay. The Royal Palm Hotel is centrally located in Dunmore Town, just 10 min. walk to Pink Sand Beach, and just minutes walk to restaurants, grocery store, liquor store and even the Bank. Our room was quite spacious, comfortable, functional (good storage, kitchenette), AC is powerful and quiet. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Our only qualm was the water has a strong smell of iron, also it will stain white or light colour clothes, it’s their well water… In general, we were quite happy with the resort and would go back.

This hotel has a great vibe, beautifully decorated. The rooms are the nicest that I have seen in the Bahamas and super clean. Staff was excellent and the food at all 3 restaurants was great. My only complaint would be the servers at both of the main restaurants is very slow and not very knowledgeable. They seem to need a little more training. Also, some of the landscaping needs serious attention. Loved my message by Tanya at the cute little spa.

The hotel location is walking distance to most city's interests (not much). Beach is just in front, swimming pool ok, breakfast ok. But no late check-out policy even if paying (if you have late afternoon flight for example). Also they want to charge a "destination fee" if booking with an intermediary website (1/3 of of the total amount!). Also we had to change room because our was REALLY moist. Anyway, the hotel is ok but i wouldn't recommend it for that price, maybe if a bit cheaper ok.

This is the quickest checkout I’ve ever had the whole process was probably like 10 secs...no kidding here! Tell them what your room number is, return key and pool towel card and cut you wrist band and boom you’re out of there...it really is all inclusive 3 meals, snacks during meal all beverages including alcohol. All you can drink and eat, isn’t that awesome? Everything is perfect, but there was just one time we decided to try another one of their restaurants and bam service was really bad. We were told we had to wait for 45 mins, we had nothing to do and no where to be so it wasn’t a big deal at all, but when it turn into almost 2 hours wait that’s ridiculous and the staff wasn’t friendly and helpful at all and a lot of customers are complaining about this and it was immediately taken care of. It really a great place and there’s one more reason I didn’t give it a five star is that the ac control panel wasn’t working so our room was so cold and there’s only bed sheets not a comforte
