the hotel lies outside the city medogorje. the hotel area is very nice with many four room hotel houses and a good restaurant and includes an etnic village where all sorts of handiccrafts are for sale. the hotel belongs to a big wine factory with nice tasting facilities. the surroundings are not very nice and includes a bus garage and s stone processing plant. the ...

Residence inn is in a great location where you can reach everywhere in walking distance. We loved the staff who were so smiley and attentive. Especially Mr Amer welcomed us warmly. Breakfast is good but crowded. We had an issue with our A/C. It was just blowing fan not cool air. We reported this next morning and they fixed it but following night it repeated. We called ...

If you’re looking for a unique experience in hotels, look no further than this hotel as it has the full package: history, comfort and culture. The rooms and common areas were perfectly decorated that transports you to a different era and culture. The rooms were also very clean and tidy and our only regret is that we didn’t get to spend enough time there. It is also loc...

Pro - Everything beyond my expectations. The best accommodation I have stayed through my Balkans holiday. Extra like fruits, fruit juice were made avaliable. The hosts went out of their way to ensure I had a nice stay. Even drove me to the bus terminal. Con: Nothing.

I like everything about this hotel. The location is exactly at the entrance to the old town. So basically you will have the right spot to start your exploration on the old town. And it is a new hotel. So everything is new! I like this! What I love the most??? THE BREAKFAST. One of the best hotel breakfast I had ever been to. Simple but rich. What I did not like??? T...

Perfect as a base for exploring Bosnia Herzegovina and beyond! Parking very limited and near a road but I front of the hotel road is very quiet and beach by hotel was a hit with both kids and adults! Kitchen was very small and not so well equipped so we only did limited cooking. Clean and beautiful apartment great for families!

Nice, new and clean accommodation in Mostar..though location is a bit out of ur coming from the bus station. The hotel told me that they could arrange a taxi for me in the morning to catch my bus at 7am. Went down to the reception the next morning and there was no one! Despite me having informed them of my departure time the day before. Ended to walking to the bus stat...

Despite the confusion initially with the pickup transfer at the airport, our stay here is a very pleasant experience. When you pay by cash, they will arrange a free airport pickup. Please remind them few days before arrival. The hotel is situated very near to all attractions in the heart of Sarajevo's old town. You can reach the old town on foot within 10 minutes, w...

I had an apartment with balcony with a great view and it was perfect. Its only a few hundred meters down a steep road and you are in the centre. The hotel was great and all the staff very friendly and helpful.I would reccommend this hotel to everyone.I hope to go back.Sarajevo is realy worth a visit .Great place and great people.

Nice hotel, better looking inside, then outside. The view and sounds of the river was more then beautiful! The room was nice and large, great view! And the food in the restaurant was really, really tasty, the dinner as well as the breakfast that was custom made (omlette, great pastry, bread spreads, tomato, everything we wanted!) Wanted to eat in the city, but ended u...

This hotel is located in the suburbs of Sarajevo. You can travel by tram line 3 or 4 to the city centre. It takes approx. 30 minutes to reach the city centre. The hotel staff is friendly. The rooms and the bathroom is clean and well maintained. The hotel offers free shuttle from and to the airport.

Pros: staff is absolutely amazing, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the location is fantastic. Staff were helpful, informative, and kind. Breakfasts included freshly made omelets. Everyone went above and beyond to help with any little thing (for example, I wanted toast and they made it happen). In five minutes you can reach the old square on foot. Cons: I would NO...

The room was clean, well laid out, and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The staff were friendly and most accommodating, truly willing to go out of their way for the comfort of their guests. An excellent stay, with parking to boot!

We had one night at the Hotel Bristol on one of the hottest days of the summer - 42 degrees. It's a really nice hotel with a big room, and is well located only a few blocks from the bus station. The air con wasn't working in the reception area or cafe, but thank God it worked well in our room. The staff there were lovely and the man on reception was particularly helpfu...

More than 1 km walk up a steep hill from the Cathedral part of Sarajevo, without tram. Gasp. I booked a twin with aircon - they put me in a single without aircon. So they moved me to a room with aircon but it was only a single. The carpet was really old and so smelly. I would not stay there again.

This apartment is at about 25 minutes from city center, but is quite close to Tunnel of Hope. The owner is a Serbian Bosnian, very friendly, helpful and talkative. He enjoys sharing his experience during the Siege of Sarajevo. This villa has three storey, a small lift is installed to facilitate luggage delivery to upper floors. The location is very quiet, room is cle...

We were confused by the location; our first stop was the address provided by hotel booking, but appearing to us was a run-down building, with no one there. We noticed a small map showing the new location at about 100 meters away, eventually were pleased to find a brand new three storey building, surrounded by high concrete wall, with a front yard covered by gravel path...
Cheap places to stay in Bosnia Herzegovina

other than the narrow roads to the hotel, heater, the others are all good. especially for group traveller like us. about the heater, we thought it will be on automatically or central heating but there are none so we slept in cold. if you are travelling here, do check about the heater at the counter. they are all friendly

The owner, Stefan, is highly a sense of attachment. He keeps trying to serve and help me. The house is really cozy and comfortable. Chin-up bar, dumbbell, TV are all set. Plus, breakfast is free of charge! Wonderful city, Mostar comes wonderful hostel golden bridge.

The owner is so nice. Near the old town and bus station. It takes within ten minutes from each place. Mostar is small city. You can walk on your foot everywhere in only the city. It is too enough to stay for one night. WiFi is fast. Free tea and coffee. There is a small kitchen and refrigerator and oven range but no stove. There is no electric outlet on the upper ...

Pros: perfect location in the center. Fresh breakfast in the morning a plus. Hot water. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Common room is homey. Price is good. Cons: the 3 flights of stairs to get to the hostel and then one more flight to get to the rooms. Place could use an update/renovation. Needs additional bathrooms. Towels would be nice. If you need to extend do...

I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the wonderful lady that runs the place. She run a tight ship, but is so helpful and so nice. She give you coffee and a pastry in the morning as you head into the common area. Great way to wake up. I only stayed for a short time and had already traveled through Mostar, but the tours they organize look great. They also organize tr...

Staffs are friendly and helped me to settled my checked-in issue which email I had sent to hostel to postpone a day due to my travelling issue did not reach them and they did not know. One staff (guy) had helped me on laundry and another guy helped to send to my room. Kitchennete is good and breakfast very simple. If stay longer you will get bored with same breakfast ...

Hostel is walking distance from main bus station but requires some distance from the old bridge. Hostel provides free breakfast and tour for a fee. Miran’s tour was very enriching and enjoyable. Hostel has 2 common areas, indoor and outdoor. Room was very spacious, extremely clean and bed was very comfortable. The room was very well maintained and the toilets were ex...

Vinko and his family are absolutely fantastic. This is by far the friendliest place I have ever stayed at. Vinko's wife was fabulous and the entire family made us very welcome. Even though this place is a little far from the center, Vinko made sure we had a ride with his family every morning we were there. I really enjoyed my stay here and it was great value for money....

I had a wonderful stay at Pansion Sebilj. Mirza and his night staff member were incredibly helpful in giving suggestions and accommodating my schedules and itinerary. Location is directly above a bar if you enjoy the night scene, and within a 5 minute walking distance to two of the best nightclubs in the city. Also at the doorsteps of the old town where all the great ...

Family run business. The host picked us up from the airport and dropped us back the next day. The room was clean but had a bit of a 80's feel to it - which we didn't mind anyway. If you are fussy about small things this place is not for you.

Best Hotel Mama in Mostar. She gave all guests warm welcome, delicious breakfast, clean and romantic beds (I've never seen dorm beds with potpourri petals). Overall I felt her love, affection and intimacy during my short stay. The only drawback is that the rooms are a bit tiny , about 10 sqm for 4 people.

Hostel is located within the city center and is easy to find. Staffs were extremely helpful with your queries. Room size was satisfactory but the bed was not very comfortable. The mattress were either too thin or the bed frame were too high so it felt like sleeping in a baby cot. Pillow and blankets were comfortable. Room had lockers and private toilet which was very ...

We booked hostel Kucha the day before arriving knowing it had only been open for two weeks! The owner Selja was amazing, my review won't do this hostel justice, what she has created is a home away from home. The hostel is spotless, great Wifi, great staff and there is parking in site. We can't recommend this hostel more highly and look forward to hearing about its ongo...

The hotel has very helpful staff & is efficient with the check-in process. There is a gated secure parking space within the hotel compound. The room we had was on 3rd level, we did not get the best sunset view over the caputal. Nonetheless, it was still a very nice room with windows facing a nice little modern amphitheatre and the yelliw bastion. Rooms on the 3rd floor...

Absolutely the best location 2 min walk to the old bazaar full of shops, cafes etc.Money exchange places dotted around everywhere. The hotel and its staff were excellent. The breakfast was great and coffee was delicious. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.I would definitely come back

This is a four-start hotel and supposed to be, however, it was a disappointment. The first impression is the last impression regardless of other things in the hotel and that is the front desk staff or receptionists. A courteous, friendly, welcoming and smiley staff can win over your hearts. This was not the case here. Breakfast was poor and doesn't suit for a four st...

Harris was very welcoming and informative. The room was very clean, sheets were thick and comfortable, with a modern shower. Very quiet and literally just 2 minutes walk from the Old Town. A basic room, somewhat small, but for all intents and purposes, it was perfect for us (we got a double room and only spent a night). If we ever came back to Sarajevo, we would stay...

It was a very nice experience in an exceptional location. The hotel has a stunning view to the River. The staff were very welcoming and nice and they gave us a room with view without asking for. Great food fown in its resturant as well as breakfast. my only advice, the hotel is a bit old so the management needs to take care about certain things like the lock of door...

My cousin and I had a great time at this hotel. I wish I could have stayed longer. Sanala and Ruba were the best employees ever and were very genuinely welcoming and friendly. They did their best to make us feel at home. The hotel room is very clean and seems very new. The mattresses are SO COMFORTABLE. The bathroom was extremely modern. Comes with free breakfast! ...

This is one of the nicest places to stay for a relaxing holiday. The hotel is located on the waterfront and has its own beach. Very quiet at night and every room has a great balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel is not far from town centre and it is easy to walk to it along the beach. Breakfast is included in room price and was good – the coffee was not the best. Pa...

From the moment I arrived I was welcomed into the home which is extremely modern, comfortable and like a home away from home. They are three bedrooms with a modern kitchen, bathroom and living room to share. There is a beautiful swimming pool and the two friendly family dogs. Mike and his two sons are very welcoming into there private paradise..

Villa Fortuna far surpassed our expectations. Staff, with a special mention of Sanda, are extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is beautifully appointed with their Heritage status and interesting antique pieces. The room was very comfortable and in a quiet part on the edge of the old town which was within minutes to walk to. A rear courtyard offered a serene spot ...
