Chile hotels & accommodations

This was probably our best stay in Chile. The location is great. It is in a really nice area full of shops and restaurants, just a block away from the cultural museum and short walk to parks, free walking tours... The apartment was clean with all the amenities. Best towels in Chile. There is both heat and air conditioning in the unit (a lot of places do not have hea...

We had such good experiences from this hotel. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We had to cancel out next destination because of the strike happening in argentina. The concierge helped us in arranging our tickets and our hotel transfers. They also has the best location. I would come back to this hotel.

This is a beautiful tiny boutique hotel, extremely clean, beautiful lighting in my room, the rain shower was huge, and breakfast was very satisfying. The location next to the Fine Arts Museum is great: it's very close to Lastarria, a wonderful arts/restaurant neighborhood, and one morning I walked across the river and climbed San Cristobal Hill. The staff were always f...

the el bosque hotel is very well located in los condes area of santaigo.many money exchange stores around the corner of the hotel and afex had the best exchange rate. first visit with my wife to santaigo, chile and we had a great time. very friendly people in santaigo great food in local areas (not tourist areas). best overall breakfast, for all the hotels we stayed...

Everything was perfect at this hotel, from its location to its excellent service and great restaurant. It's in a quiet side street, just off busy Av Providencia in the lovely suburb of Providencia, close to shops, a bank (where I withdrew Chilean pesos using my Australian debit card), restaurants, attractive homes and the delightful Metropolitan Park and San Cristobal ...

This hotel is an excellent choice for stop-over hotel; It is not until you stay at other Chile and Peru hotels that you realise the Diego De Almagro offers great accommodation with much more space and features than higher star hotels offer. Staff at reception, restaurant & bar are all very nice and helpful. Everything seems possible and nothing is too much trouble...

Rooms are adequate. Breakfast is simple with little variety. They offer eggs but you might have to go to the kitchen and order. The staff might not attend to you during breakfast. The hot tub runs cold water and that is a pity. They offer you two small bottles of water on arrival for the FIRST day only. Wish they would give water every day of the stay like many othe...

If you're visiting the Torres Del Paine National Park and just want to go for day walks in the park rather than do the extended hikes, then this is a good place to stay. Don't stay in Puerto Natales as the roads into the park are terrible and the roads in the park are worse. It's best to be just nearby so that you can get in and out easily. This is a luxury hotel and w...

We stayed at the Fauna Hotel for 2 nights during a month-long adventure across Chile. We made our reservation pretty last minute and ended up arriving very late, but the staff (owner I think!) was so nice to let us in and make us feel welcome right away. The location is a little tricky to find for the first time at night, especially if in a car (it's better to ditch th...

Stayed for 3 nights- cabin is compact with bed, shower/toilet and wood heater. Good breakfast ( no evening meals - use adjacent hotels). Tea/ coffee available in main house. Power is on twice per day by generator ( more than enough to charge phones etc). Hot water is by gas. Owners Patrick and Sophia are beautiful people - Patrick is very helpful at all times - he hel...

I stayed there only for night hours because I was there for a very busy business trip. The internet speed in the room was not good enough to guarantee good connection through VPN. Room was quite big to be a junior suit room size of a normal hotel. However, room condition was not that of 5 star hotel. Maybe 3-star.. Amenities in the bathroom was that of 2.5 star, and co...

We stayed here 7 days for our honeymoon and it was amazing! The place has great views that looks out to the ocean. It was also very clean and hand built by the owner and his son. But the best part of all was the staff, from the owner Jerom to our local guide Natalie, they were extremely friendly and we got along so well with them to the point that we would share wine a...

Was a larger property than I realized with an attached casino. Location was excellent and our balcony provided a gorgeous view of the port and water. Quick walk to all major city attractions. Chicharro beach was about a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

Andres and his team run a welcoming and comfortable boutique hotel in the Providencia. Located near the Manuel Montt metro station or easy walking distance from the historical centre of Santiago , the bohemian restaurant precinct of Bellavista or San Cristobal hill to get the best views of the city with the back drop of the Andes. The room was quiet, well fitted with...

Booking through Agoda got us a discount on the hotel rack rate - great, this is a 5* hotel in Providencia about a 5 min walk from Avenida Providencia - the main route into central Santiago. Hotel very smart with a doorman and everything. Room very reasonable size - huge bed and plenty of space. Really nice shower. Breakfast included was great, brilliant fruit selection...

海外のクレジットカードを機械を受け付けず、現金払いになった。それ以外は、清潔でスタッフも感じ良く、お勧めです。The credit card machine does not accept cards issued in foreign countries, therefore, ended up paying cash. Other than that, the hotel facilities are clean and staff members are helpful, so I recommended it .
Cheap places to stay in Chile

We were delighted with our stay. We arrived early after a long bus trip hoping to just dump our packs before checking in later in the day, but we were given breakfast. When leaving, we again left our packs to pick up later - we were offered showers before our journey. The staff were wonderful. The place is scrupulously clean. This was the best hostal in our visit to Ch...

good location, friendly staff, pricing is right. Yvan the manager goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Staff helped me with my flight booking and other queries. Great warm atmosphere. During my short stay we had a salsa night when a relative of the manager came along to show guests the way to dance. It was informal but fun. Privacy is respected but if you want t...

Nicely renovated old building, with lots of interesting paraphernalia ornamenting the place. Old, but clean and functional. Good location, close to a popular gurnicilar, and just above another popular shopping area. Close to a banking and tourist area also.

The staff was great in informing me about all the activities in Pucon. The location was amazing, I had a great view of the lake from my bed, with a quick 5-10 minute walk to town/the bus stations. The hostel was very clean but there were sometimes lines for the bathroom and showers.

Friendly staff, english speaking also. Supermarket close by, but not much else so better just as a stop over location- which was ideal for what we wanted. Some basic cooking facilities available too. Comfortable bed, good shower. Safe and secure location, with off road parking. Thank you for a good stay.

this place would be perfect except that it is in an 'iffy' part of town. the staff, and signs there, warn guests, but a hosteler was robbed , right in front of the place while i was there. so one needs to really watch out once out and about in the neighborhood. I am sorry to have to say this, but there are other women/older people like me who might consider a differen...

Great place to chill at the end of the trip. After sifting through numerous hostels in Santiago, Landay was a clear winner for me, as it ticked all the boxes - at least on paper. I've seen much worse properties charging a lot more. The reality wasn't much different. Great value for money.

Mapatagonia is a great hostel. The walls are paper thin, but when we stayed it was all like minded travelers who went to bed at a reasonable time, were quiet and respectful of everyone and therefore it was the most comfortable nights sleep we have had since being in Chile. The hosts were so lovely as well. I felt so comfortable here that I could have stayed a week....

Hotel-graded facilities with amazing breakfast provided! Fast WiFi and good, warm shower. Huge building and lots of rooms, including fully equipped kitchen and a bar. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Always crowded and full of guests, book in advance!!

Excellent place to stay for couples or singles. Great location being near the town plaza (center of town), 3 blocks from the bus depot and 5 blocks from the beach. This was only my second stay at a hostel, but the other guests, who were experienced hostel travels, said this was the best or one of the best hostels they have stayed at. It's a small adobe house over 100 y...

We had a great stay at Casa Azul. We booked the double room with own bathroom. The room and the bathroom were spacious with a very nice view to the garden, everything very clean. The owners (german&chile) take care of everything. And important to mention: this awesome breakfast!!!!! We even had waffles and fresh porridge, next to cheese, ham, yoghurt, ciabatta and norm...

A warm and welcoming (see title) stay that is so pleasant. A small place but that is not a problem because of how open Marco and Carolina are. We shred lunches together and the ups and downs of our national sports heroes ALL losing - NZ the rugby, Chile the football final and the Philippines Maqui's loss to Hunt. That says it all really. A great place to stay.

Stayed in a triple room, door can only be locked from outside. There was a TV in the room but not plugged in, no socket nearby for it to be plugged as well which was funny. We drove, so location was not a problem. Parked along the pavement outside the hostel. Staff and owner speaks English very well. Beds are comfortable and feels clean. Towels available, shampoo in th...

We had a twin room, the beds were super comfortable, you get 2 pillows which is very unusual for a hostal, nice cozy blanket, fridge in room which is handy. All the rooms back onto a hallway which can be noisy but it didn't affect us at all! Light sleepers may want to use ear plugs. Extremely clean, the staff were very helpful and we received good rates on the tours. V...

Merced 88 is a good solid choice for a hostel, albeit one that is a little too large to have much personality. There is a large locker and outlet for each person in the dorm, which was sufficiently spacious. Located 3-5 minutes away from the Baquedano metro station, getting around Santiago was convenient, although the nearest cheap grocery store was a 15 minute walk. T...

Great location, just a few minutes walk to the center of the city and to a good place to have food. Just one corner to the bus, that goes to the beach. The staff ist great, very helpful. Herman even checked a car to rent for us, because nearly every car was booked. Thanks for that. Every night is a special theme night and you get a lot of pisco. We enjoyed our stay and...

The staff were unwelcoming and even unhelpful. They refused to do laundry even though it's a service they claim to offer online. Being right next to a petrol station means you can smell fumes in the room. The social area is directly outside the front room and the windows block out absolutely no sound so you hear people playing the guitar and singing badly late into the...

This was our first stop in South America & this hostel was the best introduction. Upon checking in greeted by Angel - who was just amazing, to the location - perfect walking distance to the nightlife area but also easy to get to the museums and sights in the day. Breakfast was delicious - eggs available, cereals , breads & so much fruit. Perfect to start the day. W...

This hostel was right in town, close to plenty of shops and a short enough walk to the beach. Unfortunately, when we stayed they were painting and doing construction so the place was constantly noisy and smelled of paint fumes. The Internet also stopped working for day and even though they advertise Internet in the rooms it is only in the common areas. The breakfast wa...

The hostel is located between bus terminal and the plaza, with a mini market next to it. Good shower and the room is spacious with a locker. Breakfast is good but better to have a toaster/ some juices. Tours are available to book through hostel, unfortunately no tour can be arranged due to low season during my stay

We stayed here on a Saturday night. I think the hostel itself was quiet, but it was located close to a discotheque or other music venue which was pumping music through to 4:30 am (clubs in Chile close around 5 am). Also, we came in very late at night, and there was only enough hot water for 1 shower. Fortunately, by 6 am, there was more hot water. Be aware that the...

The hotel still smells like new. Very comfy room, with king size bed, very modern. The hotel provides free access to the casino, there is a gym, non heated pool, good restaurants (a little over priced). Only downside is the aircon It seems that it's not possible to set low fan speed, so you freeze up or you turn it off.

It was a relief to hop off a plane and just walk across the road to the hotel. The same applies to flying out the next day. Hassle free. Simple. Easy. Stress free. The staff were friendly and efficient and helpful. The hotel room was clean. It was perfect situation for travelling through.

Hotel is located in a pleasant modern area and is of a decent 3/4 star standard. The best featue is the restaurant where we had a very good dinner with reasonable prices. The concierge service was also very helpful trying to chase down a prearranged taxi which did not appear. Staff were generally customer focussed apart from the bar which was less attentive.

I just needed a bed and shelter for the night before heading to San Pedro in the morning. The price here was excellent, the room comfortable and breakfast was decent. Staff was very nice, and was able to answer questions about Calama and the best ways to travel to San Pedro.

The Hotel Diego De Almagro in Talca is a nice place to stay at. The hotels is rated as 4 stars, I would say it is a little bit overrated. However, it is a nice quiet place, and the pice is very good. The location is quite central and the rooms are big and clean. The breakfast is similar to any other hotel in Chile. If you are travelling and looking for a cheap good pla...

we had two superior rooms (family of 6) with two extra beds. got charged extra for the extra beds, event though we contacted them in advance and asked for price for 6 persons... it is located a short trip outside city center. its possible to walk, but with four small children we chose to go by car to the city center. the pool is small, but the kids loved it anyway. r...

The staff was lovely, just didn't speak much English. But they fixed at the desk my mistake of booking a room with one bed (instead of two) by upgrading us to a suite FOC. Fun ambience sigh Chinese antiques but really in the middle of no where and the checkout for some reason took 40 minutes - between that length and my time zone error we missed our flight. But the sta...

Relatively cheap for Santiago, however, I wish the staff can be more helpful in terms of suggesting places to go. I asked for a restaurant suggestion, and he sent me to a local mall with limited food selection. However, at mid-night, the gentleman for the grave year shift did help me to secure a hired car to drive us to Varaipaiso. Thanks for his help. I am glad th...

The hotel is very nice, with excellent views of the sea and Valparaiso. The location is perfect and handy to everything, including the metro that goes to Valparaiso. Staff is helpful. I guess the only thing that could be improved is the food. It lacks of any style, and instead they just try to satisfy everyone with a bit of different cuisines - bad idea and combination...

I really enjoyed my stay at Altiplanico. Its such a lovely hotel. I love that the Altiplanico looks like its peeking above the ground but it is not under-ground (am not sure if i'm even making any sense ...)! So lovely! take time just enjoy the scene just in front of the hotel, so tranquil. I took a long stroll along the water in front of the hotel and it was fantasti...

As Vitacura is a long way west of the airport the Taxi fares were the bigest single incidental expense of my stay \. The hotel itself was as expected of a 3-4 star hotel.Hotel Reception responded well to my queries but I had to specifically ask for information was I enjoyed an adequate buffet breakfast each morning. The pool was somewhat small but I managed to swim a...

We enjoyed the hotel very much after we got settled in. Getting to it and the small street leading to it made you wonder what you had gotten yourself into. But the staff was very very helpful and most of them spoke good English. The manager went out of her way to try to make everything good for you. The only problems were the small rooms and the out of the way of ge...

This hotel is not in the town.So it's very quite. Shuttle bus is available to transfer to the town. But we didn't try as it needed reservation. The main swimming pool was under maintenance. What a shame! It would be great experience to swim in the desert. Galaxy in San Pedro is a memorable experience!

..................... and they do just that. it is a pleasure to stay in this hotel. it is a nice hotel, located in a desirable, with well appointed rooms in a safe area but their main advantage is their staff. they are there to assist you. very well trained are there for you. the hotel has a gym and a beautiful restaurant.

Hotel was excellent, staff organized an airport pick up by e-mail. Courteous staff with good english speakers. Location is excellent as it is next to the underground train system with a shopping mall across the street. Ample underground car parking for guests and their visitors if having a meeting in the hotel. Resturant and food is good, not exceptional. Would defina...

This hotel is a comfortable and very cosy hotel at libertador avenue. you can go right or left outside the hotel and both ways directs you to sightseeing places of interest. checking-in was very courteous from the very start since i came up in the morning from a morning flight arrival and have made use of the hour waiting, since the room is still being prepared, by letting me use the business center facility in the lobby for my internet needs and get use to the place and the surrounding communities. even booking or reservation for my arra...

Both nights had to speak with three people to get them to turn down the control Co trip for the AC. To make matters worse, there was work in hotel property outside hammering the pavement from 11:30pm-1AM one night; the other night there was a group of drunken people directly outside hotel making noise until 4am. Breakfast was sad, hallways hot, but it was clean.

Staying here is like staying in a museum. We stayed in two different rooms, one of them had a bed which was too soft and made a lot of noise when turning around at night. Bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. But the best experience was the breakfast with Nespresso coffee and home-made bread and pies!
