Nice restaurants on site but front desk staff is the worst. They allowed us to wait 3 hours to check-in and did't provide us any accommodations as a result. Additionally our suite room door wouldn't lock properly so if someone wanted they could just walk right into our room. Waited to get the door fixed once and then the next day the door did the same thing. I complained but the hotel said it was nothing they could do since I booked through a 3rd party site😡. This was the finally straw! So Jamaica was really fun for us but this resort made things really difficult for us while on vacation. If you dont mind being inconvenienced while on vacation then this will be a great resort to stay at.

Breathless is an increadible experience and don’t bother to go anywhere else! It features amazing pools with a daily DJ between 12-18, plus a rooftop bar with a pool and hot jacuzzi. You will also get access to a beautiful private beach plus you have access to all restaurants at the adjacent Secret resort. We went to five other five-star hotels in Jamaica before settling here. Go no further, breathe deep and go Breathless!

My whole experience was amazing! North coast hotels have nothing on the Spanish Court. From the moment we arrived the service and staff was above anything we could ask for. Very accommodating. The hotel was very clean and they think of everything for their guests. I’m an avid exerciser and I was surprised to find an exercise mat in the closet in our room. I’m so ready to go back. Joseph, Abigail, Owen, Tevin and ALL thank you so very much. If I didn’t mention your name, it is only because I forgot. I stayed all inclusive for the first time over Christmas, and for what I wanted this trip, it wasn’t bad at all. I enjoyed it. I resided in premier club, so I shared a nice pool with only a few neighbors. The rooms are lovely and cleanliness is a must wherever I choose to stay. I was not disappointed. My butlers were Super Amazing. Yes, the room comes with butler service and I loved them. They were available when needed, available by private phone service. I didn’t need much, I only wanted sea & sand & a nice pool with some level of seclusion, and I got all of that really. In fact, amongst all the excitement over Christmas holiday, I was still able to find enough seclusion to suit me fine, although I’ll look for another property destination for more of it next time. I needed a getaway on my own, so it was definitely a more sociable type of resort than what I wanted, but I’d bring my sister, cousin, or come back here with a friend for fun.

Our ocean view suite was actually more a pool view with the ocean just visible past that. The suite itself was very good. We never saw our butler once in the four days we were there. Generally all the staff were great. It would be nice to have Red Stripe in bottles instead of cans. Snorkelling on the reef just off the hotel was excellent but between the beach and the reef wasn't any good at all for swimming due to algae and jellyfish.

I’ll prefice this review with i’m on vacation and simply want to relax and i do not want to complain about anything. Kudos to donovan (butler), poppy (bar), rory (buffett server). i’ve never been to a 4.5 star facility with so many broken equipment: Hot tub, hydrotherapy, refrig, etc... General lack of supplies: club soda 4 days, rum, limes, lemons, nachos, tea, etc... Rude and lack of follow up: if you want towels at 10am GL pool... “go get them yourself by hideaway the lifeguard was suppose to be here an hour ago”. there are many issues not cited including my request to discuss the service related issues with the GM, amazing. weirdest of all was the diamond clubs policy of upgrading non au natural guests to grand lido. 1) they don’t want to be naked 2) they are fairly vocal about not wanting to be naked 3) one small group went so far as to ridicule a au natural couple at the GL pool bar requiring security to intervene. ridiculous we won’t be back.

Came here for days. The resort is nice and well maintained by the staff. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable however slightly outdated. Actually noticed mold on one wall but not too huge of a deal. Showers put out hot water every time so that was a huge plus. I was pleasantly pleased with the fitness center and the equipment that it has which enabled me to to have quality workouts during my stay. Food was a bit of an issue for me. I'm from NY and I am accustomed to eating the best of the best. The Jamaican cusine served on the premises did not meet my expectations from the beef patties to the jerk chicken to the escovish fish. Alot of the other cusines were very bland in taste. Additionally the wifi connection in my room was terrible with hardly any signal. I told front desk about it and they were supposed to let the IT team know but nothing transpired. The food and the bad wifi are the reasons I would not return there.

My wife and I spent 14 nights at the Royalton Negril and could find no faults with the hotel. All the staff were friendly and enquired frequently to see if we had any issues with our stay. We ate frequently in the Gourmet Marche restaurant which was excellent, we also tried the West Indian cuisine and Italian restaurant, both excellent experiences. You can have ice cream, hot drinks and sandwiches from the gelato in the main foyer as well as a late snack in the Score bar, whilst watching sport or playing pool. The entertainment may be geared to the younger traveller, but you can still listen to a local band whilst having a drink at the Martini bar. During the day you may snack at the pool bar area as well get a drink from the beach bar.The grounds are well manicured and the rooms are cleaned and replenished regularly. Hotel taxis are however expensive so best to get cheaper options outside the hotel. Car parking is superb and safe

Wow where to even start. I absolutely loved this resort and my time there. The food is VERY good (having been to other all-inclusive resorts as well), the service is terrific and everyone is so so so friendly, the resort does such an amazing job trying to make sure everyone is happy and having a good time, and the facilities are very clean. I would hands down come back again and recommend this resort to anyone staying in Jamaica. Thank you so much for letting us have such an amazing vacation!

We spent just one night but, it was one of the most perfect get-aways. My family was attending a sponsored fun day in Negril at a location close-by. We got to the hotel at least two hours ahead of scheduled check-in time. However, Latoya (the receptionist at the front desk) was so accommodating. She allowed us to check into our rooms despite being early and ensured that we got every single thing that we needed. It was a hot day and when we walked in our room was nice and clean with rose petals on the beds and the room had already been cooled. The pool was nice!! At dinner, the hostess (unfortunately, we missed her name) was so friendly and accommodating. She patiently waited while we decided over our orders. The food was plentiful! For breakfast the following morning we had a wide variety to choose from. It was very filling and our hostess, Princess was very warm and friendly. We will certainly be coming back again and will definitely recommend Rayon Hotel to our family and friends.

we went not knowing what to expect and got a gem! what a find, the location is prime to walk the beach each way. the staff is so nice and genuine and wanted to place them all in out pockets and bring them home. it was our pleasure to talk amoungst them about their lives there in jamaica and they shared many little tips and finds for us to enjoy. we will share this place with many as we will return to this resort, it is not a hotel, some day soon.

Limited restaurant options (two fine dinning, buffet, grill [good jerk chicken] and a pizza oven) and food ends at 2 AM (not 24-hours). The main and only buffet was mediocre; needed more Jamaican food options. The is no hard liquor in the room only a few cans of beer in the mini fridge. Otherwise, the location is great, the room is very clean and service staff are super friendly. If you are not picky about food like myself, this resort is an very good inexpensive option to try out Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

This was a beautiful and peaceful villa on the hillside of Montego Bay. Wonderful views of ocean from the property. I felt like I was visiting family rather than staying at hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made sure I enjoyed my visit. Definitely not like staying in a Hilton or Holiday Inn, much less formal and much more home-y. Great place to relax, sleep, and meditate. I was shuttled anywhere I wanted to go, and after spending a day in downtown Montego Bay, I was happy to get back "home." I took walks and meet neighbors, watched a soccer game, ate authentic Jamaican food-- definitely "experienced" Jamaica, rather than just visited like a tourist. This is a family-run business, and it truly shows.

One of the best places to stay as an independent and individual traveller. Its rather remote in the hills surrounded by nothing but nature. Finding it is an adventure by itself but the reward is worth it. You stay in a colonial style house with a lot of love for detail and interior. Big rooms high ceilings and a breathtaking view. Very friendly host. You should not be afraid of dogs even though they are very friendly but big. Take some food for the dinner as the ride back to fetch dinner takes a while.
