Warm and nice Homestay”

We stayed 1 night at this Homestay and it was great memory during our trip. - renting fee for bicycle: very cheap 20,000 vnd/day. - location: near the center. Just 7 mins cycling and 5 mins walking to the bus station Hoi An-Da Nang. If you go to Da Nang by bus (20k/person) very easy. - owner: so friendly and warm welcome. Their 2 sons are also cute and kind. At the time we was staying this family had a big party to remember their grand father and they asked us to join and eat so many kind of foods and cakes and drinks. We was so happy and decided to come back for sure. - just small matter about shower in our room was broken and need to fix soon. - air conditioner very good quality and room not too noisy for sleep. Even they have free big bottle of water in each room. - for the last day you stay there, Homestay will give you bicycle for fee in some hours and it's really good service.

a few things to be aware of”

Our stay at countryside homestay was pretty good. The location is only a 10-15 minute walk into town which was great. the staff are kind and the breakfast was pretty good. a few things to be aware of: - the motorbike rentals are quite overpriced and the bikes are pretty sketchy. would reccomend going around the corner and renting a better bike for about half the price. - they will offer to sell you bus tickets to your next location but they were about 100,000 VND more expensive than tickets in town. - keep an eye on your things. we had a bit of a situation with some money going missing from our room. after confronting the staff they were very apologetic and quickly solved the problem by reimbursing us. just keep your things safe. still unsure what happened there.. all in all its a lovely homestay. the room was clean despite a small ant problem.it was by far the biggest room weve ever had in vietnam which was a plus! would reccomend this homestay just keep those tips in mind.

Great home stay out of the tourist area”

Hoi An is a lovely little town but the downtown tourist area can feel unbearable at times. I chose this place because it seemed far enough and yet still walking distance from downtown (20 minutes). Our room was simple, but with a large bathroom, AC and large fridge. The owners we really kind and helpful.

Newly opened, nice and friendly homestay”

We booked on agoda the room and although the homestay was not meant to be open yet (they put the ad by mistake or agoda posted it before the due date), the super friendly staff managed to find a room for us and it was very comfortable. The mattress is the best we've found so far in Asia. There's a lot of light in the room and the place is cosy. They are a bit far from the centre, but if you have a bike or a motorbike it's OK.

we stay here just for one night. the place is 10 minutes from the centre but is a good walking cause you have some temple on the road. the staff is really good, talk a good english and can arrange you some activities and the transportation to your next location. the breakfast is really good. clean and big room with ac and fan. very good choice for thr price

Highly recommend....”

A great 5 day stay with this welcoming and helpful family. Large clean, comfortable double room. Is a 15min walk to the centre, but that suited us, as it was quieter away from all the hustle and bustle. You can hire bikes for VND20,000 and the it's 5mins to centre and about 20mins to An Bang beach. Breakfast is simple but tasty. One of the best Vietnamese coffee's I've had. Highly recommend!

Overbooked and broken AC”

Very nice owner and her husband tried his best to fix the AC but it was the hottest part of summer and unbearable in the room. First night we arrived they put us in the staff quarters as well on a small mattress and the room was basically a converted garage so you could hear everyone loudly having breakfast at 7 in the morning while trying to sleep. The two teenage-ish sons were not very attentive either, one or both were usually playing video games and when we had an issue, they were the ones who could interpret but couldnt be bothered to stop their game. We got a refund for our last night and a discount for the first night in the staff quarters after a slight disagreement and left. Only booked here because of the great reviews so maybe our stay was just bad luck but it was bad enough for me to write my first negative review. Just confirm that your room is actually available first or you might end up in the same position we were.

Excellent breakfast, poor location, owners lack basic English”

We really enjoyed this homestay but it's a 20 minute walk to town and the owners couldn't speak much English making communication difficult (even though they tried their best and were very friendly). You can rent bikes and motorbikes too. Breakfast was very good and rooms were spacious and clean.

Great value for money”

A great little Guesthouse in a safe and homely area. A little out of the way from the old town, maybe a 15-20 minute walk. But you can hire bikes for very cheap. Breakfast was pretty basic but sets you up well for the day. Definite highlight for us was the room. Huge, light, great bed. Hot water and good wifi. The owners are very helpful to. Can’t beat this place for value for money!

Exceptional”

Very friendly family who ran it, always smiling and wanting to chat. We rented bicycles for only 20'000 a day which was ideal. Good location, clean rooms and comfy beds. Couldn't have asked for more! Highly recommend.

Good option if you visit Hoi An with and don't want to stay in the centre ”

The owners are very nice people, very welcoming and try to help always. They received very early and offer water and coffee. The room is very big and comfortable! The hotel is 15 minutes from the ols town, in a alley very quietly and local.

Perfect place to stay to discover Hoi An”

We stayed there for a couple of days, the whole family was very nice and helpful, even giving us the chance to meet some neighbours and share delicious food since it was the end of Têt. It's close to the center and to the train station, but in a calmer street. It's possible to rent bikes, and they arranged for us our trip to Huê. Really good experience!

Big room, bit old and far from center ( but close to public bus to Danang for 25.000 vnd), bathroom is small and shower needs some repair, but overall is a good place, nice owners, good breakfast. I recommend.
