I have been stay here for 3 nights with my friends and we have two reservations. I have been upgrade to the twin room when i did check in. The hotel is quite convience and it means you could go every attraction in this city. It's small but clean and you could find everything you might need here.

Walkable to JR and subway Hakata station. Hotel staff was friendly and can communicate in English. Hotel is very close to canal city and not far from Kawabata shopping arcade. Hotel room is small but suitable with Asian fun size. Hotel room is equipped with all the necessities included hair dryer, kettle, tea and coffee and shampoos, toothbrushes etc. The reception counter can even loan their weighing scale to check your luggage weight. Recommended!

Value for money, clean room, nice staff and very good location. Near hakata station 7mins. Canal City 2mins away. There are several restaurant nearby and Starbucks and local coffee shop at the ground floor. Staff are nice and can request for taxi booking as well. 5mins walk and there is a supermarket/grocery which is 24/7 open. 15min away there is a donki store which is 24/7 open as well. Couldn't ask for more..

Personally, I really liked this place with awesome background music. (There's 'bgm' button to turn on the music.) It's bathroom was really tiny but okay for me to stay 1 night. Room was a bit small to unpack my suitcase. But good location, nice staffs.

Location is near Canal City, Hakata Station, Tochoji Temple, Don Quijote. Room was small but ok for Asian couples. Wifi was pretty good. Restaurants were around the place. 7-11 was just beside the building. Pronto coffee shop was beside the entrance, but we didnt get to try as we are aiming for ramen 🍜😁 staff were nice. They speak clear English. They make up the room daily. Only local cable is available, this doesn’t matter as you are out all the time. They have available personal fridge but opening your window is much colder. 👍🏻 Faucet in the bathroom was loosened, could be because it’s old. Air-condition was fine. Overall, it was a very good experience 😊

Value for money, 5-7mins walk from hakata west exit station, 3 mins walk to canal city . Near 711 store. Everyday they clean the room. Toothbrush, razor, slipper. Bed is ok for 2 adilts and 2kids. Near Matsuya restaurant.

Worth the price”
We only stayed for one night but upon checking in, the staff was really accommodating and it only took less than 5 minutes after the key card for our room was issued. The only deal breaker I found was not being able to adjust the room temperature as the air conditioning is centralized. In anyway, you can login to your Netflix account and binge watch as well if you are on a staycation :)

Budget Friendly”
Like most of the posted review of this hotel, it is strategically located near Hakata station which makes it convenient to travel and visit places. Staff are nice, they clean the room daily. What I find odd is the hotel policy wherein you need to leave your keys at the front desk everytime you leave the hotel premises, coming back you just need to give your room number and your registered name. For me I think it poses a risk, there are instance when I am claiming my key then there are other guests / persons nearby the front desk or front desk area hearing my room number and full name as I provide it to the hotel staff. In general we enjoyed our stay, just manage your expectations room is ample enough for 2, tv only displays local channels, foreign channels are still in Japanese language.

Small for 2 pax, twin bed, cleaner than we expected”
we booked twin bed room (smoking) cuz non smoking room is fully booked. We are so afraid that we will cannot sleep but the room has no smell,(only the smell from outside comes in). The room is quite small I and mum cannot have enough space to open our lagguage and leave it. need to open, pick things out and close the lagguage and put in one corner. Toilet is a little bit small. hotel clean room and change towel everyday. One problem is the ask us to deosit the key everytime we go out.when we come back and want to get the key, lobby is full of checking in customer and we need to wait.

Extremely tiny but in a great location”
This hotel has all the basic facilities you will need and is located just across the road from Canal City Hakata (which incidentally has an Evangelion store and an awesome Evangelion water show for you anime fans). This means you have easy access to food, shopping, and the riverside. There are quite a few shrines nearby and Kawabata Shotengai is not at all far away either. If you intend to spend most of your time roaming within the Hakata urban core, this location is really hard to beat. It's within walking distance of Hakata station as well, so it's not bad at all even if you are planning to take trains (regular or shinkansen) out often. Hotel staff are pretty nice and the nightly price is low by Hakata standards. The only bad sides are that the hotel feels very old and is extremely tiny - there is hardly any walking space around the bed and the bathroom is rather cramped. Definitely not a luxury staycation experience but fantastic as a sightseeing base.
