Beautiful resort with amazing beach and food”
Cove Sand Beach Resort one of the best resort we stayed during our travelling around Philippines. Really friendly and helpful stuff, they will help you to organize your trips. Amazing food for a normal(cheap) price. They just opened so we were almost alone there. Straight on the beach, clean seaview rooms, quiet place to relax. Nice underwater world for snorcheling. New swimming pools and bubbles. Its quite far from Siaton ( around 20 min by car or tricykle - in to the wild :)) but its really nice,peacefull place to stay if you like nature. Higly recommended.

idealic location with a sandy beach and interesting diving and very attentive staff. you need to be aware that Cove Sands is 8km from the highway in a very issolated position. They do not take plastic only cash but the nearest ATM is 35km away. They also have a habit of running out of things (soft drinks, bread, potatoes) The menu reads well but I don't think delivers the quality it should. You need your own transport to stay here or you will have to eat and drink here 24/7, all that said it is a beautiful spot.

Wonderful resort”
We enjoyed very much this resort. We stayed 4 nights. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The balcony is great with comfortable sofa, wifi, and electric outlets and most importantly an outstanding view on the resort. Snorkeling is excellent with many corals and fish of all kinds.Very soft sand in most areas. Food is excellent! What can be improved is more fresh fruits to be available for either shakes or juices or as a breakfast option. Staff is very friendly :-)

Secluded waterfront”
Very quiet here and good place to chill. Besides snorkeling, there is a pool and on-site food. Breakfast was huge featuring fresh fruit. Some of the rooms are up steep stairs. Wifi near the front desk. I took an aircon bus p60 from Dumaguete and then rode on the back of a motorcycle p100 another 15 minutes to get there. Lots of transportation accessible on the road to Dumaguete. The drive there was very scenic and a nice break from being in town.

Great hidden gem”
Scott has set up a great getaway here. Wonderfull spot and very clean resort. This quiet retreat is a terrific spot for a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of the Filpino cities. Ad they have the best kalo kalo (garlic rice) I have had in the Fils!

Relaxing quiet beach front resort”
Resort could improve more on the maintenance of cottages, the cottage we stayed at had a clogged sink. Pool could use more cleaning. it was obvious that they lack staff which made service a bit slow. however, the food they serve were delicious and tasty with good portion size. The resort was a bit far but it is a beachfront hotel which we were looking for. More for travelers who seek relaxation due to its quiet location.

We only stayed one night and arrived late and left early. The staff were lovely and helpful. We were the only people there. It's on the beach and had a beautiful sunset. Food was good. The room was old, tv didn't work. Shower was average. The air con was very loud and my husband ended up sleeping out on our balcony as a result. The room didn't have a fan. Ocean view from our room.

Victim of a planned robbery ”
Victim of planned robbery: We have traveled in the Philippines many times and have never experienced anything like this before. Our cash was locked securely in our case (padlocked) the key always on us. We asked about using the safe (which was locked) but it seemed they didn't really know how to open it! Also, it was too small for some of our valuables so couldn't lock them all in it anyway. On the 5th day we discovered our cash was missing from our locked case. The lock on our door & padlock had obviously been picked as no sign of forced entry. Everything else was exactly where we left it. Very professional job. Went through the usual steps with the police. We insisted they watch the CCTV but was told this could take all week as it can not be ff!!!! We received no call our message from the absent owner! All week we received excuses why the owner had not watched the CCTV yet. On the last day they told us there was a short black out on the CCTV! Very convenient. After the robbery

Won't recommend at all. It's very remote and no signal no wifi. No land transportation , no boat. Plus, the resort manager is so hard to talk with, and the discrimination to us was so embarrassing!

We have small kids and we brought chicken nuggets for there food and we ask the owner if we can have them cooked it and she said they can and she understand but she didnt bother to inform us that they will charge for the cooking fee.when we checked out we saw our bill that they have charge 200 pesos for cooking 5 pcs.of chicken nuggets.there cooking charge is very expensive than the 5pcs.chicken nuggets.they should have informed us about it so we can order other food instead. Food selection in there menu is less and the taste is not that good either

Old towels ,expensive food tho its consiberable okey for the taste. Will not stay again.satff keep asking when are we ready to go out even its not check out time yet.aurcon not working well. Food have to wait at least an hour bfore its ready tho they will give u warning.
