            Simply Superb!”

Cranleigh is a simply superb B&B with stunning rooms, excellent facilities and fantastic staff. The walk to the centre of Bath is no more than 30 minutes and you can take in The Royal Crescent on the way. Parking is available on the street outside the guest house, which is really convenient. The rooms are glorious, clean and tidy, and the breakfast is first-class. The staff are welcoming and friendly and clearly want their guests to enjoy their stay. We would highly recommend Cranleigh to everyone, and certainly hope to stay there again before too long. Top tip: book direct via the guest house website so breakfast in included in your room rate!

            Decor, Cleanliness and Comfort

Cranleigh Guest House was worth our money spent. Every cent of it! We were really impressed with the Victorian styled room which was extremely clean and cosy. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and approachable. Staying at Cranleigh was just awesome for a couple on honeymoon like us.

Nice place with everything you could want.”

Easy to find and free parking in their car or on the road directly outside. Good use of tech to give your welcome manual on a tablet. Comfy bed in which we slept very well. About £7 by Uber in to the City. Breakfast in room is an interesting experience, but certainly we were left wanting for nothing. Price a bit steep for B&B, but possibly competitive in Bath. Either way, if you’re looking for a nice place with easy access to Bath, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending The Cranleigh.

            I would stay again”

Booked for two nights and needed another night, Tim sorted, very accommodating. Bathroom was very clean, however only single taps for hot and cold. Location was very quiet despite us having a front room. There is parking on the street and some parking on site, parking was never an issue during our stay. We chose to drive into the city centre, as its a long walk. Parking in Bath central is in long stay carparks which was never an issue, but the charge depends on which carpark you decide. There's also a bus along the road of the guest house. The bed was comfortable but there is no air cond, the windows open wide and there was generally a breeze. Take advantage of the discount tag on the room key ring, both restaurants we used were very obliging and discounts available into the roman baths.

Very nice accomodation and breakfasts. Lovely room, friendly staff and very reasonable rates. The Cranleigh is about 1.5 miles from the centre of Bath but on a bus route with frequent buses - so no problem at all.

Very friendly place to stay and great value for money”

I really enjoyed my stay at the guest house. The staff were friendly and gave us lots of information about bath. The room was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice

            Beautiful classic hotel”

I needed to stay close to Royal Bath Hospital at short notice and I couldn't have chosen a better hotel. It was a 10 minute walk away and the hotel itself was really nice, tastefully decorated in a modern but classic style. I was in room 10 and can honestly say I can't remember having a better shower! It was amazing! There was so much breakfast choice for a relatively small hotel and it was delicious. Staff were in touch with me a few days in advance to discuss my arrival plans, parking (free on the roadside) and how I could get into the hotel if reception was closed. Would definitely stay here again

            Friendly B&B”

We enjoyed our stay at Cranleigh. The house is nouse and the location is good and peaceful. Had some issues with breakfast the first day though that was bad. Otherwise, a good place to stay if you don't mind weak water pressure in the shower.

            Good Price Great Facilities”

The price of this venue cant be beat in comparison to most hotels in the Bath area. The bed's were beyond comfortable and the facilities were so well kept. Being served breakfast in a hamper the morning after really offered a personal touch that the big-branch providers would never provide. Worth your time.

Victorian stile house far from the city center”

We spent 4 nights at the Cranleigh, the staff was helpful and the breakfast very good. Unfortunately the house was a little bit far from the city center and not at walking distance. The house is an old Victorian stile with wooden floors, and for that reason it's a little bit noise.

            Perfect!”

Loved this place! Staff were friendly and gracious and welcoming. The building and decorations were lovely and the room was so well done up that the stairs were worth it! Breakfast every morning was a treat. It was quiet and restful, with easy access to the buses to go into Bath and to the train station. Everyone was so helpful. Would love to go back and definitely recommend!

As a couple who were Covid-conscious, we were happily impressed with the measures taken to keep guests safe. The room was nice, with an excellent shower. The hotel itself is a nice walk into town, and the breakfast hampers were excellent. I'd certainly stay again!

Value for money in a traditional setting”

Clean rooms and modern bathrooms. Location is a short bus ride away from city, free street parking and nicely appointed Victorian decor. Only nice to have will be use of microwave oven in the kitchen which is off limits to guests.

Beautiful bedroom with a four poster bed. Friendly service well maintained very eco friendly. ”

Loved having the choice of not having towels and linen changed every day with a voucher as a reward. What a great idea! Although not in the centre of Bath it is very close to buses we enjoyed not having to use a car to get about. Highly recommend!

            Lovely house and breakfast ”

Located in a safe neighbourhood about 20 minutes away from the city centre. Have to say it was abit inconvenient. I took the bus everyday to head back. But its in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood. The breakfast hamper delivered to my room promptly every morning was the highlight of my stay. I had a beautiful view from my room too. A fantastic and pleasant stay in Bath..

Clean, comfortable, roomy. Good breakfast. About 30 minute walk to city center. A little pricey, but what isn't in UK, especially a city like bath.

Nice place to stay in Bath”

A bit of a walk from the downtown historic area, but it was a fine location. We had two rooms for our family of 5. The rooms were a great size and well appointed. The en suite bathrooms were very modern and well supplied. Beds were comfy and breakfast was very good. Also had a supply of DVDs to borrow to watch in your room (but we were always too tired from touring at the end of the day to use those).
