Above average”

The staff were amazing but the room was not. The room was basically, just a bed. There wasn’t enough space to walk around. The bathroom was the worst. Took about 15-20 minutes to get warm water to the 3 floor. The area was great as was the staff.

Historic doesn’t have to mean rundown ”

It’s a bit of a different set up from a traditional hotel in that there is no one at the front desk 24 hours and you have to use a key code to enter front door after hours. That made me uneasy as I was traveling solo Some of the staff were very pleasant and some were a little curt. Kudos to whoever is cooking the breakfast because that was delicious! . The carpet that runs through the entire hotel must be original. It was kind of disgusting looking and it desperately needs to be replaced. The light in my bathroom was rusted and shower curtain was dirty on the edges. The old shower is awful and needs upgrading Housekeeping didn’t clean my room the first night and when I inquired why, the woman at the front apologized and told me a manager would follow up with me in the morning. No one ever did. Truthfully I was disappointed, could be an adorable little place, but is sorely in need of upgrades.
