Nice hotel, needs updating. checkin and out staff had limited English and we had limited Japanese. Good size rooms. airport pickup easy to find. Restaurant in hotel complex nice but expensive and closed 9.30pm not ideal for later flight arrival so was rushed by staff to finish.

The bed is not comfortable to sleep on, feel like that a drop in the middle of the bed. Pillow is too thin like there is any support at all.

Good Location”
It was my first time visit Tokyo and APA Hotel is just walking distance to Mita Station & Tamachi Station. Next to this Hotel is Seven Eleven. They have Laundry room and Microwave so easily to heat food incase we don't choose breakfast. The room was small size but I guess most of Japan Hotel have not so bigger size too :). The staff were not speaking English so well so be prepare to show a picture, photo or text if want to ask something.

Staff were unfriendly, the hotel was unkempt, and the food was incredibly bad.”
This is a run of the mill business-lite hotel, or so I thought, but between the glares and unresponsiveness from employees and the horrible food (I feel bad for Japan that any foreigner should come there and have that be their first experience (or only experience!) of Japanese food!) I recommend Mystays or other such places. The breakfast tickets I paid 1200 yen extra per day for gave me the option between re-heated fish with an unidentified (accidental?) sauce and miso soup that tasted like an iron supplement or “western breakfast” consisting of bread and sausage-like things. Everyone assumed I didn’t speak Japanese (even after I indicated otherwise) and overall it felt like a rip off kind of venture.

Find the room to be a little small but they have everything's that's needed. Clean room, friendly and helpful staffs. Near to Mita Subway and within walking distance to Tamachi JR railway. Just feel a little disappointed with the breakfast as it's not buffet styles like other hotels in Japan. Other than that it's a good place to stay. Convenient area as it's only 4 stop from Tamachi to Tokyo station.

This hotel located very close to metro station. Also for JR and other train is located in walking distance. Staff are so helpful and good in English. The room quite small but normal for hotel in Japan. Will recommend for everyone.

We stayed for 5 nights at $291 per night. Extremely small space for my family (2 adults/ 3 kids) but price was ok and within our budget. We had 2 rooms next to each other. We basically stayed for a place to sleep. Air conditioning system was a problem to us ... seemed to not work. When we call the guest services... they always say "ok" like we took it that it's supposedly working BUT it did not feel like it. Local food in the area was great though! We found the best Udon soup just less than 100 feet from the hotel.. best grill place. I think because it's in the business district, food was reasonable. Will be back in Japan but may have to shop a better hotel.

I was in Roppongi Tokyo for business, A company booked me to this hotel because it was near in our office in Tokyo! Yeah, the location was great. But, the cleanliness of the hotel was awful! It was a carpeted room and I accidentally saw whats under my bed and its indescribable! The staff are not really approachable but when you ask them something, they will do it right away. Well, if you are just looking for a budget and a good location hotel, this hotel is for you.

Great location”
Recently stayed at the APA Mita Ekimae. The hotel was a typical Japanese business hotel - rooms compact (Small) but functional. Hotel was a little inflexible, charging for both early checkin and late checkout (a first in my business travelling). Apart from that everything was ok. Good location next to Mita Metro station and Tamachi Rail station - everywhere in reach!

Near a TOEI train station”
I chose the hotel because it was near Haneda and the Sengakuji temple. It is near a local subway(TOEI)- exit A9.It was not easy to find luckily someone at train station was helpful enough to give us directions. Even he had difficulty finding the address, only when he checked the hotel name again did he realize where it was. The first night we called front desk to complain that it was so hot in our room, she changed it to dry.(I tried to change the setting with the help of google translate but it was fixed to heater- was confirmed by front desk). It was still hot that we had to open the window,and turned the ac off completely. The next night, we asked for a humidifier(free) but it was so small that we decided not to take it and just slept again with the window open.Luckily, it was colder.Also we forgot to bring adaptors for our chargers so we had to give 2000 yen deposit for 2 adaptors.The room was very small, no cabinets for clothes,they don't change the bedsheets just tidies it up and then they will give you free bottled water. If you will stay for a night or two this hotel is okay.

had to pay extra for early check in, only had one elevator which would take a long time if it was busy. other than that the room was clean and nice, and the bed was comfortable.
