Reliable Japanese Biz Hotel Chain”

APA hotels are great when the price is low as it is a fantastic bargain. You can not beat this deal for the quality of the accommodations and the standard excellent Japanese service. Remember, JP business hotels are "small" compared to western standards. They're extremely functional and waste no space so expect your room to be optimized for a business traveler. A comfortable, safe, clean space to rest and prepare for your day.

Small but comfortable”

The hotel is in a nice, safe and quiet area of Tokyo. It is within walking distance to Akihabara and the Ochanomizu Train Station. A lovely place for families and couples with shrines and great eateries nearby. Good for those who want to get out of the busier parts of Tokyo. The standard rooms are very small, but this is what you would expect for two people. I would suggest booking something bigger if you need it, the bathroom is very cramped and we are two small adults.

Rooms are quite small with no place to hang your clothes. Will be of good size for a solo traveller though. Room is still pretty well kept though and the facilities are adequate. A bit of a walk from the train station as well.

Small Room in a Great Location”

Hotel is actually close to Akihabara area (closer than Akihabara station in some parts of Akihabara like Don Quijote). It is also near a lot train stations, so very convenient. The room is a bit small. Good for 1 person with one large luggage. I brought 1 large and 1 hand-carry; did not have space for the hand-carry. Staff are nice and friendly, but very strict with the check-in time.

Great hotel with valuable price”

We love stayed at this hotel. The hotel near with the station so we could catch-up the subway easily. The staff also very helpful. And what we love the most, there is a local restaurant which has a very delicious fried rice..

Great value for money, cozy for 2 asians. Enough space for luggage in the room. Location is especially great, with nearby convenience store, in house coin laundry, and a short walk away from Akihabara. They also allow for baggage keep if you arrive before check in time which is great! Cons are that there is no safe in the room, and the toilets are not heated. Shower curtain had a strange smell to it, but all very minor cons. The staff were superb with no language barrier.

As I expected, room is tiny (really tiniy) Couldn't even open my luggage without stepping on it the whole time. But room is clean and cozy, enough light, and small but manageble bath tub. Not bad for single traveler (or business trip)

Great Vacation!”

This hotel was a great choice for my stay in Tokyo. The staff was great and English friendly. The location was perfect for walking to wherever my plans were. The room itself was on the smaller side but it was expected so no problem for me. The amenities that the room offers were very convenient and restocked daily. Even when the door was left on "do not disturb" the staff left us extra supplies outside our room for us which was a great surprise. The only problem that I could think of was the video on demand. Even tho we didn't stay in the hotel for a long time per day it would be nice to have an option of paying for a single movie to watch instead of only a one time all you can watch for the time payment. Overall this was a great stay and I recommend this hotel to any other travelers planning on making a trip out there.

Very good location. Short walk to Ochanomizu Station, Akihabara Station. Room is very clean, but it is quite tiny. Almost did not have space to open both our luggages. Nevertheless, it is still reasonable for price. Great for short stays.

Very standard business hotel”

To visit Akihabara well, I chose this hotel for rest. It is quite far from Akihabara, only 15 minutes were taken with walking. Besides of that, hotel is very quite to take rest. Room was small, but still there were some space to open own carrier well. Room services were good, cleaning is well done for us.

The rooms were a bit tight but it wasn't a deal breaker. The bathroom was super clean. Seriously clean. And they changed our towels everyday! Even the in-room amenities were always replenished! The bed was very comfortable as well. However, I wish they would provide more pillows. And a separate or different setting for their air conditioning/heater unit. We had to open our door for a few hours just to let the cold air from outside in. On another note, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. There were times that we couldn't understand one another but they tried their best to understand us, and provide excellent service. All our inquires and requests were promptly addressed. Definitely, our favorite part of our stay at the hotel was the amazing staff especially the people from the front desk! Great location too! Just a 5-10 minute walk to the train station. Quiet neighborhood too!

Just Wow!”

The room is enough for us. It's clean everytime we get back in the evening. The warm bath is such a pleasure after a whole day of walking. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They try their best to understand us and gives us what we need. Overall, this place served as our haven after a day of travels.

Very good hotel”

I loved the room and location. There is a very nice ramen place across the street at the street corner. The staff are very nice and accommodating especially the female receptionist who was very polite. Thank you for a great stay.

Room was small but entirely decent, with good bathroom facilities. A good hotel, a little overpriced given its location several streets back from the action - but was during summer so inflated prices do come into play. Staff were friendly and seem to enjoy working there. 11th floor Room was clean & quiet. While I may opt for closer lodgings to downtown Akiba next time, it was a generally positive experience and I'd definitely choose to stay with APA again.

Not a friendly staff, poor English”

Staff never smiled or said thank you. Not very welcoming. Their English was very poor so very difficult to communicate. The rooms are very small and their was a lot of dust in the room and around my bed stand & window. Location was ok, near Suehirocho station. The only thing great about this place was the shower- the water came out strong.

no early check in available (only can check in at 3pm sharp) which you have to pay for it and encounter one of the rude male staff (the rest of the staff is okay except that one),sorry to say,wont choose this hotel for my next trip
