Amazing place, you must see!”
Hello, My husband and I are frequent travellers either for business or pleasure. We’ve been to Bath multiple times, but this was a special occasion. It was my husbands birthday and I wanted to surprise him with a special place, that has a character. I was definitely not disappointed! First when I booked our stay they gave us an option to let them know what time we would arrive which allowed us to check in earlier. Once we got there the stuff were so friendly and welcoming. Showed us everything around the Hotel. The room was fabulous, spacious, clean and just as shown on the photos. In advance they knew it was a special occasion for us so they left a little note and gift for my husband (which was so sweet). The great night sleep was topped up by a delicious breakfast in the morning. You have the choice between Full English, vegetarian, special of the day or continental ... plenty of choice for anyone’s needs. Thank you Apsley House Hotel for having us and we will be back!

Perfect stay, amazing staff”
Every aspect of this stay was great, especially the staff. I couldn't recommend this more. My partner and I often stay at various hotels and this one was exceptional.

It was spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms in fact beautiful hotel, excellent choice at breakfast, staff were wonderful, only 25 mins walk into Bath. I really can't think of any negatives, oh and there's an honesty bar which was something I've not encountered before, it was just a wonderful weekend in Bath made special by staying here.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff ”
We had a lovely weekend here for my partner’s birthday. The hotel is a located in a lovely location which is about a 10 min bus ride from town and has beautiful views from the garden. The hotel was gorgeous and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. The highlight of our time here were the friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. I strongly recommend!

Great team, especially Jeremy who looked after us well! Brilliant cooked and continental breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Gorgeous house and gardens. Nice 25 min walk into centre of town. Comfy huge bed and comfy pillows. Happily stay again!

Couldn't do enough to accomodate a vegan with intolerances!”
From arrival to departure, you were made to feel incredibly welcome. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this Apsley House. The Staff are friendly and helpful, the room and grounds were spotless, we wanted for nothing, even Molton Brown Bodywash, Handwash and Shampoo were provided, tea, coffee, etc were replenished daily too. I currently need to follow a strict diet, I advised the hotel in advance and they were more than happy to accomodate me. They even asked me to send a list of what I can eat, they went out especially to purchase the exact same brand too. At the end of our stay, they even gave me the leftover cereal to take home! Don't hesitate booking, may be a little more expensive than other options, but you won't regret it!

50th Birthday Stay”
We booked The Beau, and loved that we had a private entrance. The room looks a little smaller than I imagined through the photographs, nevertheless it was gorgeous and a very romantic room. Whilst the location is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Bath, its a lovely walk and there is also a bus service outside. The staff were outstanding and very attentive. Good breakfast, and dining room was well presented.

Courteous reception. Very helpful. Elegant setting with a grand piano and an open bar next to the breakfast place. Booked the Comfort Double Room, located on the ground floor. Comfortable. The vanity in the bathroom is a bit small, the shower place has enough space though. Overall, definitely clean. Our room is next to the breakfast place. Breakfast starts at 7:30am, decided to get up early for the breakfast.

The staff, food, view and general facilities were lovely and as expected. Slightly disappointed that the king size bad was two singles pushed together, with the resulting crack a bit uncomfortable to bridge. Only downside though.

A gorgeous historic building, beautifully appointed rooms. Very professional and attentive staff. Spa bath was a bonus! Cons- 30 minutes walk from town up hill. Hand held shower head.

Lovely house and breakfast ”
This house is lovely and the welcome was too. The breakfast is served to you along with coffee or tea. There is a garden out the back with tables and chairs. The only downside is the parking is very tight if you have a 4x4 or car bigger than a small car. It can be hard to manoveure out of your space if the car park is full. Other than that it’s nice. A taxi into town is about £8-9

Gracious and Beautiful Gem”
Everything about the Apsley is wonderful! Its setting is lovely, overlooking a spacious garden. Breakfasts are elegant and delicious. Most importantly, the staff is outstanding; they are always warm, helpful, and caring. Most impressive!
