Clean room, nice staffs & good location”
Room is clean and tidy, and the staffs are nice. But unfortunately, the nearest U-bahn station is closed due to the revamp, so we have to walk about 10 mins to another U-bahn station. (Of course there is still a bus station near the hotel in the distance within 3 mins walk) The hotel is quite near the innere stadt of Vienna, it takes only about 20 mins to there. The location of the hotel is great, for both going to sightseeing in innere stadt and transfer in the Vienna central station. I really appreciate that.

The hotel is clean, fairly located in relation with main tourist attractions and the price, at least during our stay was good. We were able to walk until Schonbrunn palace and to the Rathaus, so it can be a good option for a city break. The only bad point, which was not actually related to the hotel itself was the noise, coming from the construction work right across the hotel. But probably this is just something like a bad luck for me and the ones living there during that period.

The hotel didn't tell us before we come that the metro station of the hotel was not working until 2020, that was so frustrating to find altrnative ways to get from the hotel to the city and back. And other thing, our flight was Advanced to 3 am but the hotel clerk did not want to bring us back the money for the breakfast for the last day we missed.

We would like to point out that on all websites pertaining to the Austria Trend Hotel Ananas, the information can be found that in the period from February 2019 to January 2020 the underground station U4-Pilgramgasse is closed. We recommend to use the nearest stations U4-Kettenbrückengasse (650 meters / 10 minutes walk) or U4 Margaretengürtel (bus 12A direction Eichenstraße) to reach the Hotel Ananas. In addition, there are numerous bus lines (12A, 13A, 14A, 57A, 59A) in the immediate vicinity. The bus 13A offers a fast connection to the U3 station Neubaugasse, as well as a d

Location not great. Both the nearest metro and bus stop are under renovation. 20 mins walk to nachmarkt. 10 mins to the nearest bus. Google ‘sonnenhofgasse 8’ for location. The one on maps is wrong. Staff in the evening not pleasant. Maybe good for big groups not for solo or small family

A decent hotel that is located remotely from the city centre”
The staff was very helpful and friendly, I had a room viewing the remarkable construction of the nearby train station with the music of power tools cutting and drilling and with a window that hasn't been cleaned since the 19th century. I told that to the staff and they fixed me a better room (couldn't cancel the reservation). They U4 metro train wasn't active (won't be until Jan 2020 as I've been told), and Agoda failed to mention it, so I had to take a bus to the U3 metro train (3 stops away from the hotel) and I'm not much of a bus type person - so that was awful for me. Rooms are basic, bed wasn't that comfy.

The Hotel is in a great location and good if you not come with a car, since the stuff want to get the keys and reserve the garage mostly for buses. It was a kind of unfriendly experience there, quite untypical to the nice people we meet in Vienna.
