Best place to stay in Victoria if you’re in a tight budget. I’m travelling with a friend so there’s 2 of us, the room was spacious enough for our luggage and the toilet has its own exhaust fan. The staff was accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage past our checkout time. This is very close to A bus stop, restaurants and convenience stores.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw my room #203. It had been recently renovated. Great mattress all new bathroom with a great shower. We were delighted with the room. Staff was very kind also.

Everything was lovely except..”
I booked a single room without toilet but I got an en suite instead, wonderful! One thing to pick was that the second night when I got back from outside, I stepped on some glass in my room, maybe the maid cleaning my room brought it in with the broom or something. Still gave 4 stars for cleanliness because my room was cleaned and clothes were folded when I went out

Good stay, very central ”
Chester hotel is location just a 5 minute walk from Victoria station which makes it very easy to get anywhere. The staff seem very helpful and the room is really good for the price point.

Booked room for 22 pound NO WINDOW”
i ve booked a room for 22 per night but it did not have a window tehy all do not have a window in this price category. bed was comfortable good matrass and bed linen very clean, the staff was very friendly I was able to leave y bag for free for 4 hours after check out, the bath room door needs cleaning full of finger prints. the bathroom was far away, far to walk to the basement while i was staying in the ground floor, if you search it navigations even google have difficultis to find it . The best search for HM Passport Office in your navigaton it is nearby there.

When I arrived I was met by a wonderful happy smiley Persian receptionist from Iran, her name escapes me, but she was extremely cordial and great at making you feel welcome.

Excellent location, however undergoing extensive renovations”
My room was right next to the lobby, I could hear the night-manger on the phone or playing music in the evening/night. The (loud) construction began at 9AM and continued all day. The room itself was fine, but there was cardboard covering a window above the door (that promptly fell off an hour after arrival). The location is virtually unbeatable, however it isn't a particularly peaceful place to stay at present.

I came for a 2 nights stay in London, so location and a private room were on priority. Pros: - Location! The hotel is few minutes away from Victoria which is great. You can walk by foot to some nearby places. - Rooms: Seems like they are after renovation which is nice. - Staff: Were helpful, changed my room on the second night after I had difficulty to stay in my current room. Cons: - Rooms: They have basement rooms, which I got for the first night. There was no air circulation inside. They do provide a fan in the room, but it didn't help much. I must say, after request, I got a different room for the second night which was perfect for my needs, So thanks to the staff for that. - Toilets: The whole hotel shares only ONE bathroom, and toilet. Maybe the other ones are under contraction,or maybe other rooms have private bathroom, so take that into consideration. If all you need is privacy and a good location, this place might be for you

Location was brilliant. I had a single room which was badic but was a very comfortable bed. Good budget room. Shared bathroom was amazing actually. Good bath and they stock up with the essentials. Good hotel.

Near to London Victoria ”
Stayed in a single basic room and you need to carry luggage up and down the staircase a bit. However, the shared bathroom was cleaner than expected. Not bad for one short overnight stay.

A great location for a night or 2”
I took a tiny single room , but it was fine for me, cosy and safe .kettle in room , heater, hot water in shower . A lot of narrow stairs if you have bags . Absolutely fine for short stay.

Very small room ”
This is possibly the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. There is no window in the single rooms without a bathroom which made it incredibly claustrophobic, so much so that I couldn’t stay so if you struggle with this I would think twice before booking. The person on reception was in no way sympathetic and really didn’t care. I get that the room is what it is but some understanding would’ve been appreciated. The room was clean with tea and coffee facilities but no hairdryer or mirror. I didn’t get as far as going downstairs to the bathroom. I’m sure a larger room would be much more comfortable

No elevator!”
In terms of location, it was ideal, within walking distance from both the underground and the coach station. The room is small, tiny actually, I couldn’t even open my suitcase if I tried😂. However, it does seem clean, includes the bathroom. My major problem is the fact that I had to carry my suitcase up 2 floor on a staircase that is barely wide enough to accommodate it. So for fellow travelers with large suitcase, you better hope that you get the ground floor room, otherwise be sure that you are capable of lifting them in tied space!
