Anshin Oyado has another winner”

I stay at the Shinjuku Station location a lot. The Ogikubo location seems new. There's slightly more on offer here as compared to Shinjuku. The only "downside" is the location, it's in more of a suburban location. That said, there's still lots of options for food nearby and it's a close walk to the train.

The facilities are quite nice here compared to other capsule hotels, with pleasant Bali style decor. They also have a nice variety of amenities in the shower and washing areas. Each capsule has a large television screen, fan control, and power outlets for your electronic devices. The cafe has free soft drinks, and snacks and alcohol available and offers breakfast too (curry and rice if I recall correctly). If you have large pieces of luggage they can store them for you at the front counter, but they cannot fit in the narrow lockers here. As with all capsule hotels, even if the facilities are wonderful, you may still be disturbed by the other clientele. In my case the snoring of a nearby guest was quite loud, so I had to wear some earplugs in order to filter that out.

Capsules are very comfortable, but public space very small, lockers are tiny, amenities are very good. Lockers are way too small, but they will provide a clock-room, to stare your belongings. Shower-rooms are quite small and crowded as well, but very clean, organized and full of amenities. A bit in a dirty part of town, but nothing is too dirty in Tokyo anyway. Over-all, would have given 5 out of 5, if not for the small public spaces and small lockers...

I misunderstood that I reserved Anshin oyado capsule hotel in Shinjuku but actually in Ogikubo.. But Ogikubo is also a huge town and transportation is convenient. The hotel is located near the station, about 3 minutes. Staffs are so kind and the facility is in good condition.

Great place to stay for men of small groups! My brother and I stayed here for 6 nights and were very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and spoke enough English to service us well. The spa, breakfast, and bar benefits were nice :)

Amazing experience”

you wont regret staying here. its cheap, affordable, clean and have great amenities. However, do understand the showering situation. its a Japanese style shower, and some may be uncomfortable; but aside from that, this is an amazing accommodation.

Prefect place for resting”

Was amazed by the whole package of the hotel, it provides you with anything you could think of, earplug, water, different kinds of shampoo, 24 hours free drinks. The breakfast does not taste good btw. Mattress is thick and comfortable, had really good sleep. Location is good, close to jr station, 20 mins from shinjuku. Staffs are polite and friendly, they try their best to help. But laundry is expensive, like 800 yen. And we can get similar quality of the hotel with lower cost, it is pretty expensive. Besides, do not expect to make any friends here. People are mostly japanese businessmen I am like the only traveller there at that time. No one is gonna talk to you other than those polite staffs.

Great for solo travellers ”

Great place to stay. Most comfortable bed I had in Japan, special pillows were excellent. Every type of bathroom product you could need is provided - just get used to being naked with others in the communal shower/bath area. Plus, it's tattoo friendly. Loved the free soda, massage chairs and breakfast curry. Stay here for an authentic capsule hotel experience.

Clean & Quiet”

My first time trying Capsule hotel and generally the experience is still good. The only concern is the storage area is only available on first floor change room area. It would be good if there could be more storage space available next to the capsule.

Men-only but Superb”

The hotel is actually men-only, but everything was superb, everything is provided and the facilities are top-notch. The rooms are small but really comfy, the bath has everything you need available, toothbrush, shaver, anything you can ask for, and the lounge is comfy. Definitely coming back here again on our next trip to Tokyo.

Great Experience”

First timer in Japan and also trying a capsule hotel. Great hotel, they have everything for you. Few foreigners but the staff speak some English. Clean and tidy, nice bar with massage chairs. I totally recommend it!
