The location of the hotel is excellent, but room and facilities are dated. Met with a rude service staff who insisted that hotel guests were entitled to only one bottle of water per gym visit and were conveyed the message sarcastically from her. My room was located in a farther location from the main wing, so not really impressed with the overall experience, despite the excellent location.

But I crtainly regret hearing your comments about the room. Rest assured that we continuously focus on the quality of our room product. Thus, our technical department in addition to the daily cleaning maintains the rooms with ongoing painting, new carpet laying and upholstering of the furniture. If you only had let us know your feedback earlier we would of course have tried to offer you another room. Your feedback regarding our service and staff at the gym admittedly saddens me the most. Rest assured that a professional, authentic and warm service is our top priority. Accordingly, we also select our employees. Please accept my sincerest apologies for the obvious lack of thoughtful service. For future bookings we certainly noted that you prioritize a room in the main building.

Rooms starting to get a bit tired. Beds are so close to the bathroom double doors that it is uncomfortable. Business and conference hotel. Lacks charm. Staff entering the room without ringing the bell. Will go back to staying at the Hotel du Rome .

Coffee machine didn’t work at all and there is spot on curtains ”
The coffee machine put on up of the closet and didn’t work at all the sauna place only have one basket for dirty towels and shelf is not enough and the hanger is not enough ，everything is not organized very well which we thought the 5 starts Hotel should’ve. And the directions for the swimming pool or the restaurant is not clean at all , you have to walk a long way to find where the place for sauna and get lost again when you walk back to your own room

This tangible itmes may be one of the best you can get but the soft skills from the staff are horrible. I am talking here about 10% of the staff but those make it very bad. They put themselves over the guest and think they can determine what the guest has to do. Incredible! At Rocco Forte the service is decades better what that concernes.

Welcome at front of hotel very friendly and warm, lobby area beautiful. Surroundings very calm and relaxing. Excellent area to have afternoon tea with lots of atmosphere . Hotel gingerbread house amazing to see. Great location and staff very pleasant.

Incredibly Beautiful Hotel with Great Service”
This hotel is simply outstanding. From the moment you walk in seeing the grand lobby, marble staircases, impeccably dressed and friendly staff you know you're somewhere special. Upon checking in you're welcomed warmly, then take the very neat elevators up to your room where you're met with beautiful hallways. The hotel is large but feels small, with courtyards placed throughout the hotel for extra lighting in hallways. We used the concierge for help several times. They were always so friendly, so kind, and incredibly helpful. I would come back to this hotel over and over. It is expensive but it's worth it and we paid more for a hotel we didn't enjoy nearly as much in a different city. Take advantage of this place in Berlin, a less expensive city in Germany!
