Starší rekonstruovaný hotel s výhodnou polohou v širším centru města, přímo u stanice S-Bahn a několika linek tramvají - Hauptbahnhof 1 zastávka, centrum (Oper) ca 10 minut. Pokoj QUAD STANDARD ( 4 patro, sever, okna do ulice) velmi prostorný, velká koupelna se sprchovým koutem a WC, TV, větrák. Úklid pokojů denně, bez jakýchkoliv nedostatků. Snídaně bufet, standardní rozsah, zcela dostačující. Nevýhodou je parkování – buď Parkhaus v blízkosti (15,- EUR/den) nebo při delším či soukromém pobytu některý (vzdálenější) parking P+R (3,4 EUR/den). Všechny ulice v okolí jsou placené Kurzparkzony. Recepční uměla nabídnout pouze parkovací dům. Jako nedostatečné či zavádějící hodnotím informace na hotelovém webu – o parkování (možnost bezplatně v okolí / hotelová Parkkarta), o internetovém koutku (žádný v hotelu není). V tomto horkém létě bych uvítal také klimatizaci na pokoji nebo ledničku. RESUMÉ: Pobyt v hotelu Allegro hodnotím pozitivně, spokojenost, výhodný poměr cena/kvalita. Doporučuji.

The hotel is located in front of them railway tram station. best connectivity (2stops) for the central station. Also direct tram is there to city center karlsplatz Staff is friendly and helpful The hotel is clean and the rooms are are unusually big

Convenient location, spacious but basic room”

Upon checking-in, the reception desk staff seemed a bit stoned, kept dropping stuff and forgetting his next actions. He was not rude in any way, but it was kind of comical. You get what you pay for for this hotel. The building and room furnishings are old, but clean and presentable. Room safe was not working at all and the room key always ceased working every time the room was cleaned. Room was incredibly spacious and empty, so it was a bit cold. Our room window was facing the street and it was also noisy at night. Breakfast had limited choice, but it was cheap and convenient. Location wise, it is not in the main city area and there are few amenities nearby, but it is just opposite of a big station serving 6 train and tram lines, so it’s still very convenient.

We've booked a room without breakfast for 2 nights here but when we arrived, the receptionist gave us breakfast coupons. The room is unexpected large.

The only good thing is next to the train station”

Located next to a train station (tram, metro, hi-speed), very convenient to travel around (6km to the center of Vienna) Our room is unnecessarily spacious (lot of useless space) and lacks basic things like a fridge, water heater, tea cup, tea & coffee, iron. Lacking light at nights (the standing lamp is broken). The hotel has no Queen-sized bed so if you travel as a couple like us you have to accept twin beds. The coffee machine downstairs were broken during our 4-day stay without any repairing. The water vending machine were also unusable. The wifi is free but very restricted in settings, unable to play or download games properly. You can use it for 20-30 mins before it became down for 5-10 mins.

Something kept broken”

On the first day, bathroom door broke and we switched the room. Bathroom window in the new room broke the next day. But Rooms are spacious which is quite nice to move around. And unlike Google map, you can go to metro(S-bahn) in like, 3 minutes without detour. It's very in front of the hotel. Overall, they provided what we asked and the receptionist at nighttime was kind. But can't say most of the receptionist were nice. One time when I said simple 'hello', male receptionist replied "He(other customer) came before you" in a condescending manner.

No wifi in room”

Very basic for a 3 star hotel. No wifi in room, broken lamp, noisy, no fridge. Quite disappointing. I would not come back here.

Bad front desk service ever”

The front desk lady is ( may be Thai lady) the worst service provider. We have seen in the net that they have car parking but she said we have to look ourself around the hotel. Though in the morning other staff said that the have parking facility with 15 € per night. Very noisy! Basically I had to woke up very early and ended up with nice headache.

Stay in Allegra”

Even though the hotel is very near to the city centre, it is located in a junction therefore very noisy from traffic. No air con. Some of the hotel staff are not very friendly.
