The room is a bit small, but otherwise nothing to complain. The hotel is located on a slope, so if you have heavy luggages it could be a bit hard to access.

Family run hotel, perfectly located: 7 minute walk to the center or 1 subway stop. The hotel was renovated years ago, everything is new and clean. Extremely friendly staff. Good breakfasts. My single room was tiny and close to the promised 9m2 only if you take the bathroom into account. a small fridge in a room would be nice to have.

hotel is centrally located at a quiet lane. perfect location as it is walking distance to many places of interest and eateries. Comfortable Bed which is very important for us, so we were happy though the double room which we booked were a bit small for 2 adults. Reception staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as it feels like eating at home.

The location is simply perfect, 5 min walk from St Stephan Cathedral. You arrive with bus from Vienna Airport to Morzinplazt and in 1 minute you are at the hotel. Breakfast is reach and good.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Marc Aurel. The hotel is conveniently located close a short walk from central Vienna, there´s plenty of bars just around the corner, quiet rooms and a short walk from the underground. Good value for money.

Nice small hotel ”

Hotel staff are very helpful and nice - helped with day trip booking, arranging for pick up from the hotel, lend me some super glue when my shoe sole was peeling, always ready to provide directions around Vienna. Hotel is situated like 10 mins on foot to the Opera House. Hotel room and furniture is abit old but acceptable. So thankful that the hotel has a lift and air con within the room.

Not a good experience at all”

We stayed in Vienna at this hotel for 2 nights. The information about the parking was misleading until the final email confirmation came through. We booked and asked for a double room of which they had none left so they pushed 2 single beds together leaving a gap in the middle. The room had been poorly cleaned and they had not even refilled the toilet roll holder. Not to mention the empty boxes where the shower cap and sewing kit were supposed to be. After our first night we went down for breakfast which was included in the room rate. The selection of food was poor. We even overheard the manager of the hotel talking about our clothing with some of his staff. Once we got up to make another coffee he came over and told us that we were not welcome in the restaurant as we were both wearing singlets. This was the middle of summer and we were about to head out for the day in over 30 degree weather. No dress code was displayed and we were the only people in the restaurant at the time. We travelled right throughout Europe over 6 weeks staying in each hotel for no more than 2 nights, so got used to what to expect from a 3 to 4 star hotel, this was the worst hotel experience of mine to date. Good location however...

Affordable hotel at a great location in Vienna”

This is an affordable hotel located near St. Stephen's Cathedral. Very easy to explore the Inner Ring area of Vienna. My single room is rather small; but, given the price I paid for a hotel in such a good location, I believe it is reasonable. The room rate includes the complimentary breakfast, which is good and sufficient enough for me. There were 4 types of hams, several types of cheese, breads, coffee, tea, orange juice and apple juice.

Staffs are friendly. Room quite small but clean and was tidied everyday. Very convenient to go anywhere in the city. Location is great and there's WiFi in the room. Breakfast not so fantastic though. Staff offered to book the taxi for us upon our check out. Overall, my stay there was a memorable one.

Friendly helpful staff, clean, mediumm sized rooms. Underground located 200 metres away, airport bus 70 metres away. Step out of hotel and enter into the old city and its surrounds.Walking distance to major inner city attractions.
