Good location at Nippori for easy transpiration on JR & Keisei lines. Very friendly & helpful staff who speak fluent English. Value for money in a quiet residential area. For sure I’ll come again. Thank you for all!

Place is very nice, seems like a new hotel. But somehow far from the nearest MRT. About a 10 minute walk.

No room cleaning provided, though they can provide fresh towels upon request. Room was small but sufficient for travellers. We had 3 luggages and still had room to walk a bit. Room needs a bit of upgrading as the cabinets are dated and slightly dirty.

Disappointed with Hotel Mystays Nippori. The hotel is showing its age. The bathroom has molds. The fixtures/shelves are broken or not working and turning yellow. It has all the amenities it promised but it does not look like the photos. Daily cleaning is available for a price. Room is small. You can barely open a large suitcase. Good location though. Bus stop for airport is less than 300 meters walk.

Good for short stay”

I stayed for 1 night, very strick for check in time, i am pregnant, and asked to early check in to rest at room, but they can not confirm. Room was Ok, enough for open 2 big suite case. Room old, with a good amenities.

Hotel near by Tokyo textile area”

Good location (300 meter from JR Nippori Station). Room is clean but bit narrow. Its ok for 2 persons. Room with small kitchen (microwave & kettle) and utensil is convenient for simple cooking . There are coin laundry room at ground floor. We unable to early check in but we can leave the luggage at reception office. Their staff will transfer your luggage to room during check in time (3pm). There are one halal restaurant (Halal Sakura), 250m from this hotel.

No frills hotel Near train station ”

Book this hotel as it’s relatively near to nippori station and I was travelling to Narita for an early morning flight. Distance wise it’s a 10mins walk. The hotel looks abit old, but serves its purpose as a place for rest at night.

The room was nice and just a view minutes took us to the nearest station. A lil bit disapointed with the staff who didnt want to help us to make a reservation for taxi and pick us up in the morning. They said it was not business hour to ask the taxi come in early morning. Actually this was not my first time asking the hotel's staff, in other hotel even hostel which is not a big hotel, they always help me and didn't mind to make taxi reservation anytime. Last time I stayed in hostel in January, the staff called the taxi and asked to pick me up at 04.50 AM and they didnt have any problem to do that.

For the price, this was a very comfortable stay and not far from JR/Keisei stations. Staff were kind and helpful. There was no ice machine and the vending machines were a little lacking in variety, but for this price range, it can be forgiven.

Complete amenities in room with electric kettle, led tv, bath tub with hot and cold, lots of sockets, big window, firm bed, a/c, mini ref, cooking sets, etc. Comfortable room to say the least. Highly recommended.

Basic no frills.”

Good location to Jr station at nippori. Just few mins walk. South Gate is closest, but north gate has elevator if you have luggage. Staff were helpful, though rather limited in English. No room cleaning, but they oferred to do room cleaning twice in my 11 day stay. Room really tiny. However great to have windows. Mine faced a blank wall and had no views. Cooking utensils provided were sufficient for some basic cooking. Walking distance to two supermarkets to buy most groceries. 30 min walk to Ueno park. A lot of eating places close by. Coin laundry in building. Poor wifi in room, but wired LAN connection seems better. Vending machine in building for water and beer!

Very small bathroom and old building”

I found the hotel location and hotel stuff satisfactory.But the room and the bathroom was really small! Well, Tokyo is the most expensive city in the world. So, I guess with the price thats the best I can get or I could not find better one. Overall it was OK!

I liked this hotel. The staff were very helpful (and forgiving when I lost my room card). The room was small but not cramped. The location was central to what I wanted to see. Plus, Nippori Station is only a couple of minutes walk away and a Skyliner stop for airport links.

Kinda paid too much for an old hotel”

I don't know how long this hotel had been built for but it feels old to me. The bathroom light, wall, toilet bowl, sink, bathtub and also the aircon already turned yellowish. Walls are stained and mgmnt shows no sign of improvement to clean it up or repaint them. For a person who is particular about strands of hair (esp not mine) lying around, the sight makes me feel uncomfortable and uneasy to sleep in, as if not particular about spick and span for a hotel running business. For the price I paid I can probly get sth better but due to last minute booking, this is it. Very near Nippori station so very convenient to take train to and fro the airport. But, would not recommend if you hv more than 1 luggage as there are no escalators or elevators up the station, but flight of stairs. Not too difficult but still kinda tiring if carrying too many items. Lastly, for Asian girls like myself and my partner, it's still consider cramp for us. Wont accommodate 2 luggages comfortably.

Nice hotel near nippori sta. Ueno”

Mystays chain hotel is always recommended for traveler if they want to stay at cheap and clean hotel at japan. This hotel is clean and the location is superb. Only 4 minutes walking to nippori sta. It is so easy to use skyliner train to narita. The price is ok and not expensive.

Nice stay”

Simple and nice room. It was very small but that is normal in Japan. Room was generally clean and location was good. Close to the subway and can get practically everywhere. Around the hotel vicinity there were many food options to choose from. However, the aircon was not really working well. It's either too hot or too cold but that seems to be my experience in other hotels in Japan as well, not sure why.

The room is clean and fresh. Better than i have imagine. But the bad is too small for double bed. If you are western it will be like a single room. But luckily we're just a small asian girls. The room can fir our big luggages and many belonging as well. Hotel staff is very kind as japanese. They are very helpful. Compare to the prive as japanese hotel std it's good as its price. :) i quite enjoyed and recomended to others traveller who is looking for a good hotel in a quiet area. Itms very convenice to go to central and airport. :)

Comfortable stay for easy access to Narita Airport”

If you're looking for a place to stay in relatively close proximity to Narita Airport due to a lack of time in Japan or an extremely early/late flight to catch, then you'd want to consider staying at MyStays in Nippori. From Nippori station, you're about a 5 to 7 minutes walk to the property itself, which makes it easy when moving with big luggages. Most importantly, the Keisei Skyliner from Nippori station takes you directly to Terminal 2 in 36 minutes exactly (I know, the Japanese sure have a thing for punctuality & efficiency)! Room wise - I chose a Standard Small Double, but being a solo traveller, this was a very comfortable size & space to be staying in. It's good for 2 pax too in my opinion. As usual, the Japanese toilets are tiny, but you'll learn to get used to that while in Japan. The room was clean, felt safe & was overall pleasant. The bed was a tad squeaky, but that's no problem. It came with all the facilities I needed - dresser, mini fridge, television.. so it was all good. What I loved most about the property was the laundry & vending machine facilities on the ground level - making it easy for travellers to do our laundry at cheap rates while snacking on a midnight snack! Oh! I stayed for 3 nights and was advised that there was no housekeeping services, so that might be an issue for some of you as there will not be someone to replace your towels or to clear your trash, so do take note! Staff did their job, but did not feel too friendly or warm which was a pity. Location wise, you're right on the corner of the Nippori Fabric Town, so if you're big on fabrics and sewing, then you'd probably be in heaven. :) You're also very close to Ueno & Asakusa - where you can experience the cultural & older vibes of Japan. Lovely!
