My home/hotel of choice in Kyoto”
My 3rd time in kyoto and this is the best hotel Ive stayed. The first two are high rated hotels also. The great reviews posted in this site are verified. These reviews made it easy for me to book this hotel and thru agoda. Agoda booking is superb, its easy and 2x I communicated that I would like to avail the cheapest rate since I saw a Better deal with in the Same booking site and in no time they approved it. The hotel is new and very clean. The staff is very accommodating even through they have a hard time communicating in English. Stayed in a moderate twin size room, the Space may be limited but Still doable. You may always choose a bigger room. The location is literally just across the kyoto station and avanti mall. Very much accessible and with a lot options to eat and surrounded by convenience stores as well. Breakfast: Western and Japanese selection, its delicious and good quality. Facilities, esp the guest Lou be where you can have your own Space with a coffee and tea bar, this is a great Space to stay as well. You Will Never Go wrong in choosing to stay here in Hotel Vischio

WOW..... i can stay in the Hotel for the whole day. Like to thank the management for being so thoughtful for traveler like me. the location was Great, once i step out of the station, i could see it. The lobby was very welcoming, as you are going home. There is a corner where they provide from tea bags, coffee filters & toiletries for us to bring back to the room. if you don't like to stay in the room, in the lobby there is another pantry area where you can get free coffee from coffee machine. The great thing is that you can meet up with other guests. The room is spacious enough, the lighting are sufficient, shower come with bathtub. toilet is separated from the shower. Room TV will show you how crowded the public bath. so you don't have to there to check. ( public bath is FREE ) The bed and pillows are comfortable. Gym, sauna, spa, steamroom , hot tub, public shower, laundromat, vending machine, luggage storage... All are available. The breakfast has a full range.

I have nothing but good to say about this hotel. It is very conveniently located. Only minutes away from the Kyoto station. There are free extra supplies at the lobby (like toothbrush, comb etc) in case you forgot to bring yours. The room feels spacious (we got the triple room), and once again it is very clean. The breakfast buffet was very good as well. With good selections. Staff was very nice and understand English with no problem. Check in and out were a breeze. You can store your luggages for free till the end of your check out date, if you want to explore Kyoto a little bit more before heading out (for us with 4 big luggages (and 1 small carry-on), probably saved us 4x600yen from using those big coin lockers) Overall this is a well rounded modern and clean hotel that's conveniently located, would definitely come back again and recommend to anyone that visits Kyoto!

Excellent hotel ”
Our family of four (kids 10 and 6) stayed in 3 different hotels in Japan over 10 nights and this was by far the nicest. Great proximity to Kyoto Station, spacious rooms for Japan, comfortable beds and pillows, roomy bathrooms. Public baths were a highlight for the kids. The lounge was also a nice treat. Appreciated the luggage storage. The only negatives were (1) that on one day it rained and all the complimentary umbrellas were gone by 9:15, and (2) when we arrived from Tokyo around 12:30 we had no problem storing our luggage until check in time but we wanted to fill our reusable water bottle and the public restrooms on the main level only had warm tap water so we asked the front desk and were told that because we hadn’t checked in we couldn’t use the lounge to get water so we could not fill our water bottle. That was surprising and seemed inappropriate.

Took a while to choose a hotel for one night in Kyoto. If you are not keen in staying in a touristic area, or near the highlights of Kyoto, this is a great option. It is near the train station and a lot of food places. The hotel offers an onsen and is new. Extremely clean and good services. I felt bad that the staff had to deal with many rude people staying there but they maintained a very high standard and professionalism. The breakfast is something you should include as it is really fantastic. I really liked the sliced beef. I think it is an unspoken rule in Japan that non-Japanese guests have to stay in the corner room in the most inconvenient location. Even though I am very quiet and respectful for 8 days in a row this has happened to me in 8 different hotels. Bit of a blatant xenophobia and this hotel continues this trend. That was the only downside I faced.

I can stay int the Hotel for a whole Day. The Management did an awesome job. They are very thoughtful for traveler like me. Once i walked into the Lobby i felt very homely. There is huge pantry area, help yourself coffee machine ( ice coffee? you will get it too) , hot tea also available. The room are spacious, separated toilet and shower, shower come with a bathtub. sufficient lighting, comfortable bed and pillow. tea bag, coffee filters, toiletries you can get it at lobby. [ i called it Everything you need corner] gym, sauna, hot tub, spa, laundromat, dry cleaning, vending machine..... they have it all,

Great stay in Kyoto ”
Great buffet breakfast, you have range of Japanese food and international food. There’s even 8 different type of teabags for you to choose from! Definitely one of the nicest buffet breakfast in japan I’ve had so far. Room is clean and comfortable, king size bed and they separate the toilet and shower area, it’s very neatly separated. Hotel location is just across the Kyoto station, you can just roll your luggage over and it’s probably just 3min from the station to hotel! Will recommend and definitely stay again on my next visit to Kyoto.

All three travelling companions agree this new hotel was the best hotel we stayed at. Good sized rooms with enough walking room and space for suitcases. Comfy beds, nice bathroom. Excellent room service. Free drinks in the common area with nice teas, coffees, lollies. Excellent onsen as well. The ladies onsen was spacious and super comfy. Spacious locker room, plenty of showering booths, large hot onsen, cold water station to drink water after onsen, very well lit salon area for drying hair and moisturizing face. Even when I didn't use the onsen, I went downstairs to dry my hair with those excellent hair dryers. It was a breeze to checkout and store the luggage. Absolutely excellent hotel and very good price too!!

I am glad to book three nights stay at this Vischio Kyoto because its really really clean and full of amenities that I need during my stays. The location is very near to Kyoto Station and there is 24 hours restaurant open beside the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the cleanliness. The room and hotel are very clean, and that is the most important thing to me for staying in a hotel.

Hotel new, very clean, shower & bathup, comfort bed, laundry coin available, very near to JR kyoto st. & kyoto bus st. Eazy to go by bus to gion area (gojozaka bus st.) & kawaramachi area (shijo kawaramachi). Bus map can be found at tourist information center in JR kyoto st. Bus price ¥230/adult, use coin pay at the bus no change. More cheaper buy kyoto subway & bus pass(ask and buy at tourist information center).

Fantastic hotel in Kyoto”
The best hotel for my 4 days trip in Kansai Area. Great location for travel because the hotel just opposite the road from Kyoto Station. Everything is very new, nice clean and spacious with shower, bath and separate toilet. Wifi and TV screen mirroring was good. We love the great lounge with a pretty good coffee and tea. It is otherwise, the prefect hotel for families with older people.

The hotel is super near Kyoto Station, which makes travelling easy. Eateries n family marts are nearby. The hotel is very new with awsome facilities. In-room facilities are well designed to suit individual needs, such as personalised reading lights, charging points. There is a lounge providing free freshly ground coffee and tea for hotel guests. Highly recommended!

Helpful staff tat has our welfare at heart and delivers good customer service , great location and amenities. Very clean room . This hotel has a few branches in japan and the one in Kyoto is the best we have experienced unlike Osaka’s which gave us a horrible experience

Very near walking distance from Kyoto station, and there's a family mart nearby, which is of great convenience. Hotel staff spoke very good english and were all very helpful. All amenities are provided either in-room or at the hotel lobby for guests to take whatever they need. There's also a lounge that provides really good tea for guests to enjoy, although no eating is allowed inside the lounge.

Just opposite the Kyoto train station. Newly opened, high tech hotel. Love the fact that we can know the crowd level in the public bath and laundry availability and completion status right in the comfort of the hotel room via the TV. Highly recommended for the comfort and convenience.

Love everything! The hotel is clean, the facilities are great (there’s a gym and an onsen!) and very close to the train station. And there are taxis waiting just next door when you feel lazy. Too good!

Great location for transport, food and shopping. Less than 10 minutes walk to hotel from station. Room is super clean, spacious for 2 and comfortable bed. Well equipped with facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Will definitely stay again for next trip.
