the room was very dirty. The showers and Toilets were dirty too. in the room we couldn‘t even close the window.

You can't imagine such a place can exist in a western country. I hardly believe they have licence to run a hostel in those conditions.

Friendly Place at the Heart of Brighton”

Nothing is a hassle for Bart and Toby at The Kings Arms. They'll do anything to make your stay better as well as providing local cheer in the pub below the rooms. Recommended as it's minutes from the beach and pier as well as being in the heart of the shopping.

Old-School and No BS”

The Kings Arms is a busy and fairly historic pub. It does things well and gets on to the next. Bart and Toby, who welcomed me, made me a cup of coffee. This, to the arriving traveller, is pure class! The place couldnt be more central and staying here couldn't be more simple or satisfactpry. No frills and no BS. Perfect. Book it.

1 hour and 20 to football ground 30 minutes to parkrun on sea front In a nice part of the town, no trouble Cheap beer prices Super friendly bar and hostal workers. Awesome value

Ok for a couple of nights”

Staff really friendly, but the hostel need more plugs in every room, a better internet connection and definitely at least a microwave. No kitchen is a big problem if you fancy staying more than a couple of nights. Showers plenty of hot water, enough toilets considering hostel was not busy. I’ve seen one room was on refurbishing as well as showers... so maybe next time will be better.

Not too bad at all, staff were friendly and the room was pretty clean, however could have used a few more showers, there’s only three so I was waiting quite a while one of the days. the girl who used it before me blocked the drain with her hair a bit. Woke up one morning to a guy smoking in the room, right next to a girls bed who was an asthma sufferer. He then went on to shout and swear pretty obnoxiously, waking everyone up. None of this is really down to the accommodation itself though, just be aware that you are sharing with people who could be a pain in the arse like this.

Dingy, loud and uncomfortable”

I didn't think budget accommodation could get this bad. The facilities were horrible, the bed was rickety and tiny, the room was draughty and there was no sound proofing at all.

The place is falling a part. Huge holes in the ceiling, walls, etc. Don't think it's ever been cleaned. Beds were super uncomfortable. Several rooms have no working outlets so if you want to charge your phone, you need to stand in the hallway. And there is no 24 hour reception despite what they say. So if you forget the door code you're out of luck. Rooms had lockers to use. No heat was turned on (It's Winter.) Some staff members were very nice. Wifi worked well enough. It's located near the main road and many restaurants and bars.
