So my girlfriend and I decided to go to a VR arcade in Haggerston, which was a 10 minute bus ride away and stayed here at Kip (I'm unsure if I can put the name of the place we went to, but just Google, 'VR arcade Haggerston.' It's a brilliant experience!) First off, the smell of air freshener when walking into the lobby instantly gave us a good impression. Not to mention the lift! We thought it was SO COOL (no spoilers, you have to see for yourself!!) We were warmly welcomed by 3 people on staff who told us exactly what we needed to know. Our room was such good value for money for the space and facilities. It looked pretty trendy and I can stress how perfect it is for just a single night. (If you're staying for longer, you'll need to provide your own toothpaste and toothbrush). For a medium room, it was just cosy. There wasn't loads of space but it was big enough for both of us. Check out went smooth and the lady in reception kindly offered us a cup of coffee. I would 110% recommend to friends/family and may be staying again if we're ever in the area. 5 stars all round, good job Kip team.

Great location, lots of restaurants within a 3 minute walk. So convenient to get free hot beverages on the way out in the morning and coming back in the evening. I had two rooms during my stay, both very clean and functional. Rooms are small, but the space is used very well. Only con is not very good views from the windows, but no biggie! Will definitely stay again!

Our room was small but cosy and comfortable and the facilities were great. I had some medicine that had to be kept in the fridge and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Plus the location was perfect! Would definitely stay again!

Nice modern room in the centre of Hackney with a welcoming atmosphere”
We traveled to London for a friend's wedding and had our toddler with us. The room was reasonably sized and priced, and although we had a travel cot of our own, the hotel would have provided one for us if needed. The staff were friendly and professional, the coffee in the morning was a lovely touch! Room was clean, big enough, stylish, and was laid out very well. I would happily stay here again.

Was great for my first time in London. If you get a single, be prepared cause the room is small. But the room was always clean and the people were always friendly. With a food options a stones throw away including 3 grocery stores and the London Overground just outside the door, this is definitely perfect for you solo travelers. You got a customer 4 life!!

Nice touch to offer free coffee throughout stay if you follow on Instagram. Not many facilities like ice, fridge in room, hairdryer etc so recommend to bring your own! Great location though, right next to hackney Central station ☺️

Clean, contemporary, great value ”
KIP is very instagrammable. It’s contemporary aesthetic and ultra clean new rooms makes it a joy to stay at. The main negative is that there are no stairs so everyone has to share one slow lift. I have stayed here a couple of times and found the staff friendly and helpful. This visit, I found the man on reception to be rude and unwelcoming. The free coffee left a bitter taste in my mouth after he doubted that I’d followed the KIP instagram account (enabling the free coffee). It’s a shame that one person can ruin a very positive experience in a near perfect hotel.

Clean, comfy and good value for money!”
Amazing location, comfy beds, very clean and staff were great. My only reason for four stars for value for money was the expected London prices however what I got was for my money top quality despite being a tiny room. The only negative about my stay was the lack of window in my room - understandable for the budget price I paid - but did prove slightly disconcerting. Overall though I thouroughly enjoyed my stay - thanks!

Stylish Hotel”
Minimal, clean, stylish, small, closet type room, no windows, but has everything you need for a basic stay in London. Bathrooms with showers were shared for this particular room. Convenient Costa Coffee cafe below the hotel. Distance away from restaurants, but accessible for Dilveroo. Overall suited my husband intention for his stay. Mentions he would stay again, as it was great value while on offer.

The hotel is great value for money and it beautifully designed. The staff are really friendly and the location is good. It’s right near the Hackney Central overground station. Bed is also comfy too!

The single room with a small double bed and en suite shower (no window) offered all I needed for one night to attend an event in the area ie clean, safe, walking distance of where I was going, near public transport. The very small single (no window, shared bathroom) that a friend stayed in isn't for everyone. So long as you understand what room type you are booking you'll be fine. I did ask to view the small studio room which is an excellent option for a longer stay. Good size room and en suite bathroom and the kitchen area is very well equipped. Supermarkets nearby. Excellent value for London. Oslo (bar/restaurant) is within a few minutes of the hotel and is a great option for drinks and dining. Food was excellent. Overground train stop is right by the hotel and connects to the tube system within 3 stops at Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line)between that and the buses you can easily get into Central London. The staff are really pleasant and helpful.

Best value for money in London”
Hands down the best value for money you will find in London. Very clean hotel, convenient location (literally next to Hackney central station), comfy beds and lovely decor and staff. The free coffee (if you follow them on social media) is a nice bonus. I highly recommend!

Good hotel but my room had no window”
Hotel is clean and in a good location, however the Double bedroom I booked Had no window (room 402) and the bed was not even a queen size. I am not sure it could have even been used as a bedroom. For this, I am marking down the hotel.

Give more expensive hotels a run for their money”
Spend two night at Kip over the weekend. Part of a group staying there for a wedding in the area. We turned up too early, but staff were on had to welcome us and securely store all our bags. Genuine warm welcome and very helpful team providing lots of local info. My double room was a bit on the small side as the twin rooms have a lot more space. Very clean, stylish interior and house keeping cleaned my room every day. Could not fault them. Its a popular hotel so book early.
