Good location nice view value money friendly staff”

First night we check in late at 11.00pm the hotel main entrance is the bar they are so many people.And the bar are open from 10pm-5am they nosie and cloud especially for us travel so many hours. The hotel assistance manager Adam is very helpful and friendly.Everything is excellent in the hotel but suitable for family with young children.Anyway overall is good better than some of London hotel.

4-day city break”

Superior double room was great. Large space, good facilities, very comfortable. I would choose this again. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location for nightlife and close to the centre and beach for all the interesting shops, old-world pubs (great) and sightseeing.

Fantastic Stay”

Our Stay was amazing for the price The team were superb and breakfast was great, with as much tea and coffee as you could drink, not only were the staff helpful, welcoming and courteous, to Every Customer, there was always plenty on shift, so there was not any occasion where you would have been unable to find anyone to assist, the bar of the evening was nice and casual with a good mix of hotel and reg guests and the nightclub was a draw to many but this did not interrupt sleep, to be honest we heard nothing. the room was clean and the bed was really comfy, plenty of storage, my only suggestion would be to ensure there was a comfy chair in all rooms, ours was suitable to sit at the desk/dressing table and for me with a dodgy hip i would have benefited from a comfy chair for respite rather than taking to sitting on the bed which was less comfy but this is by no way a criticism just a perspective. tea tray was well stocked and a good selection. we are already planing next trip.

Another fabulous stay at Legends ”

The staff, without exception were friendly and fantastic... Upgraded to a larger room on arrival with side sea view. Biscuits included on the tea and coffee tray 😀 which was welcoming after a long journey. Spotlessly clean room ( larger than expected..). Location couldn't be better. Excellent club in basement...DJ played great music 🎶 Breakfast was superb...all cooked items were freshly cooked to order... and you could tell 😊 The staff were very attentive especially Dean, who we wanted to take home with us 🤗 We'll be back!!!

Do Stay!”

The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is plentiful. The full English Breakfast is made with quality ingredients. The hotel is in a perfect location, opposite the pier and very close (on top) of local amenities. There are several transport links to wherever you want to go in East Sussex. This hotel is a must and great value for money.

Excellent value”

Great location & price, wonderful staff. As long as you don't turn up here expecting a quiet night & black out blinds you'll be fine. Breakfast also great, wifi signal hit & miss but better in the bar area.

Great location and friendly staff”

Just a short stay at Legends. Excellent location for nightlife and right on the seafront. Staff were very friendly on reception. The room was on the small side but had everything I needed. Lovely sea view.

This may be a gay bar disco hotel but there were lots of straight couples staying in the hotel ”

I would give this place 10/10 for everything me and my boyfriend loved it couldn't here any music when in our room brilliant value for money join there web site and get cheaper advance rooms they do small rooms at great value staff very helpful night club and bar great open till 3am loved it

Nice friendly hotel”

Yes this Hotel is a gay ran hotel but don't let that put you off I am straight the hotel was very nice. It is in a Great location opposite the pier, clean tidy and friendly staff I couldn't ask for nothing else and a fab great breakfast. The hotel had a bar and nightclub below which was a great advantage to use but if you were in a room above the bar (also I was) it was quite disturbing at night to sleep but yes I would definitely go back.

Excellent all round”

Everything was fantastic. The staff, location, cleanliness etc. My only (minor) downside was with the internet which wasn't very reliable and not great if you need it for work (which I did). But considering the amount I paid for 3 nights it's hard to complain about a bit of internet downtime :p

Wow great staff”

The staff of this hotel should be cloned and spread out throughout the world. Never had to want for anything. The staff truly made my experience here wonderful. Not going to list them all as I might miss someone. Never saw a frown or attitude here. I was well taken care of and I am a cranky old man so made it hard on them. Cheers to you all!

Great location, hotel & v. Popular gay nightclub ”

Was surprised when I arrived late at night to see the hotel was illuminated in rainbow colours, loud music was blaring out of the hotel & clearly the majority of customers were gay. It wasn't quite what I was expecting. The staff said it would look v. Different job the day. My room had an amazing view but the door stuck & I needed to ram my way in ( this was fixed the next day). The second night I was woken at 3am with the thudding sound of music. If you could guaranteed a room on the 3rd floor it would be a great place to stay. The staff were great.

Great Brighton Location”

Legends is a gay operated and owned hotel. Excellent site along the Brighton seafront. Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Crisp, white linen. Breakfast WAS included although Agda voucher said NO. In fact, breakfast was far too much.

Wonderful Stay”

Everything out this nights stay was great. We arrived early and managed to check in two hours eariler than stated time. Was able to get a parking permit for only 9.50GBP. The room was extreamly clean and very spacious. The bed was soo comfortable, and probably the best part of the room. Only thing was that the shower took a long time to drain. Overall Wonderful nights stay. Highly Recomended!

fun hotel”

spot on and staff couldent of been more helpful,bought a residents parking voucher which was 9.50 a day a lot cheaper than the carparks , because we read other rewiews of hotel we booked a 4th floor room fantastic because we could not hear downstairs disco which did not finish until 5 in morning but could still visit it when we wanted ,we did meet another couple who were on 2nd floor and had trouble with the noise so asked to be moved higher and certainly wouldent of enjoyed ourselves as much if we had been on that floor,then again we are 40 plus and the younger folk loved it, the drinks prices were very reasonable being about the same price as the local pubs ,punters predominatly gay but this hotel is at the centre of the gay scene other straight couples as well as us all haveing a ball,the free drag shows were exelent ,we will deffo go back as long as we can get a top floor room but would not stay in the lower ones ,i have tried to be as honest as possable in the interest of fairness (in a nut shell wild fun and noisy clean and very central with reasonably priced food and drink)

Fantastic stay”

A fabulous stay. Super friendly and helpful staff made it a memorable experience. Location wise it is right on the front with a great view of the Palace Pier and the wheel. I can't recommend this place enough if you are staying in Brighton

This is an excellent hotel, with one distinct flaw”

The main flaw of this hotel, unless you are into late-night nightclubbing, is that on three nights a week, starting at 10:00 and continuing until 3:00 a.m., the disco in the basement is very loud, with accompanying loud conversation on the terrace. We were in a very nice deluxe first floor room and then were moved to another identical room on the third floor after a bad night. In both rooms, the trendy semi-circular bathroom doors got stuck, which can trap a person in the bathroom. That said, the fact that Legends advertises itself as the UK's "premier Gay hotel" should not put off any straight people looking for an excellent, attractive, reasonably priced hotel in a wonderful location.

One night stay is not enough”

I can only congratulate the staff for a very welcoming and comfortable experience - in particular to Adam, the Asst. Manager who was simply charming. I would highly recommend Legends to anyone visiting Brighton - Shayna

Great last minute choice”

We came down last minute and booked just before jumping in the car. It was a great decision despite lousy weather. Highly recommend the hotel. We were kindly upgraded from a deluxe room to a sea view loft, which I'd book next time. Fabulous Friendly staff, great location 2 min from beach and a great view of the pier.

Great room with wonderful sea view overlooks pier”

Very pleasant for one night. We probably should have stayed on a non club night as we aren't clubbing types & noise permeated our room till the wee small hours. However this was the only downside of a very pleasant stay.
