Excellent - One of the finest”

Really enjoyed my stay here. Typically I use HIlton hotels but during the Olympics the Hilton was really too much. I tried the Mercure and I could not have been happier, really great staff, so friendly and helpful, rooms are very spacious (especially for Tokyo), location is really convenient. I cannot think of anything i did not like, I highly recommend this hotel to all and upon my return I would not consider staying elsewhere.

Nice little room, amazing location”

This hotel is about 30 seconds on foot from Ginza 1chome station, and just a few minutes on foot from basically anywhere in Ginza and Yurakucho. Hibiya Midtown and Tokyo Station are about a 10 minute walk. Aside from the bullet train into Tokyo, I didn't have to ride a single train or taxi during my stay. Fantastic location for the price. It's a nice little boutique hotel, so the rooms are small, but perfectly comfortable, cleaned and well-maintained. Everything felt very new. The staff were helpful and professional. I will stay here again next time I'm in Ginza.

Fabulous place to stay. Tokyo is a massive metropolis far from home so to have a "home" like this place is really a pleasure. When I return to Tokyo I will only consider Mercure Ginza, hope i have a reason to pass some more days there soon.

We are so pleased we booked this hotel. The location was perfect, a short walk to Ginza station and not too far from Tokyo station. There is also a station underneath the hotel which can be accessed directly via the hotel lift. The best thing for us was that is was so easy to get to/from Narita airport as there is a ¥1,000 shuttle bus which was so efficient and takes you to/from Ginza station straight to/from your terminal). The room is small but there was enough room for a large and small suitcase. The bathroom is pretty basic and I wasn’t too impressed with the shower (I’m particularly not a fan of the shower curtain). It was also annoying that there are no power points next to the bed. These small things aside, we would definitely stay again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff”

My family and i wanted to try a different area in Tokyo. This hotel has a good rate for a prime location like Ginza. The rooms are quite small but the staff, especially the reception are very accommodating. Special shoutout to Ms. Mae for going the extra mile to help us with our luggage and accommodate the item we left in the room. I recommend to book a room without breakfast since there are better choices around the area. Convenience stores are minutes away from the location and Mcdonald’s is by the corner.

Great room, old toilet”

The room is great. It feels european. I love that they have a nespresso in the room and refilled every morning. It saves on our coffee purchase every morning. The ambience of the room is awesome. However, the toilet is very old. At least 15 years old design. It's such a shame. And on top of that the TV does not have HBO or other english channels. Considering it is MERCURE (european brand), it should have more english channels.

The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Ginza with its extensive range of shops and restaurants within easy reach. Staff generally helpful and speak good English. But hotel lacks a proper frontage; just an obscure entrance in a narrow street where you enter thru a small lift lobby that’s obstructed by linen carts when you return at night. Not very nice!

I had put a tag " do not disturb" sign in front of my room in order for the housekeeping not to enter to my room however, without my permission they entered and cleaned my room. I hope hotel management would improve their performance by giving customers their privacy. I' m staying in a hotel not a motel
