As all reviews say, the owners are friendly and welcoming. They really go beyond what would be expected in a normal motel/hotel/guesthouse in Korea. I actually wish I had more time to chat with them. The building might be a little aged, but it is clean. And they supply a fresh, clean, FULL-SIZED shower towel, rather than the usual face cloth sized ones! I will return here if I come back to Seogwipo, and would recommend it to anyone I know. If you are looking for a comfotable, clean, welcoming budget option, look no further than Mimong!

Budget Hotel but available bathtub 😊 nice for relax”
We get bedroom in 2nd floor, no lift for me tired cause im pregnant 7month but so far staff very helpfull, and let us borrow charger 😁 near bus station in 300meter, so many restaurant and CU store only 10meter from hotel, and free jeju orange ☺️

It was one of those trips that I book accommodations as I go. The guesthouse was located in the quieter area of the food street. There were alot of restaurants around, esp the popular fish restaurant just located at the end of the street which I also highly recommend to go and try. The market is also within 5mins walk, with food stalls open at 7pm, time for a feast and taste of Jeju Korea. The hosts were amazing people, one of the friendliest people I have talked to (sometimes with the use of online translation service), they even cooked me an egg as they saw how small my breakfast was. The room was spacious and bright, the host lady worked hard to clean the house when people go out during the day. The ensuite bathroom was like one of those Japanese bathroom unit installed, and were kept cleaned everyday. I was a little bit surprised about the number of things, sightseeing spots there are in southern jeju (thanks to my lack of planning), I decided to stay an extra night and didn't have to change room which was great! At the end of my stay I almost cried as they were so accommodating over the days, I promised I will come back and visit them with my partner in the future. Hope they will still remember me!

Great hotel with the best owners”
The hotel is in a really good location, right next to the main food streets and within easy walking distance of the olle market and other attractions such as the waterfalls and bridge (go there for sunset!). The owners were so so nice and helpful, they even let me (and helped me) do our washing for free! I would happily recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The warmest welcoming !!”
The hotel itself had everything we needed : good bed, warm room (since we were travelling in November), enough room for two and a nice breakfast. But what we will particularly remember is our hosts kindness. They were always more than happy to advise and help us in planning our 4 days spent in Seogwipo. They really could great care of us and we were somehow sad to leave !

Real nice motel. Simple but warm. Hostess is really helpful. Breakfast in room. Great location, nearby: food street, (old) bus terminal, waterfalls, and in between Olle trail 6 & 7. Go to Seogwipo? Go to Mimong!

Comfortable stay, Excellent host!”
Short 3 day stay in Jeju with plans for a lot of sightseeing so wanted a clean comfortable and convenient place to rest the night. The place fit the bill perfectly but the reason I am writing this review is because of the wonderful lady who touched our heart with her genuine hospitality. While booking the place, i read similar feedback from other reviewers and here I am typing out one. We took a morning flight and reached early and she was considerate to allow early check in. Next day our cab booked via Jeju taxi tour for sightseeing (http://jejutaxitourkj.blogspot.hk/) did not show up at the appointed hour. We knew something was wrong when she admonished the driver on the phone- apparently the driver had forgotten about the tour after confirming the itinerary & fare via email a week back. She came to our rescue and arranged another cab within 30minutes, negotiated better fare and extended tour hours for us. The driver spoke decent English and showed us around good-humouredly. Where we truly bonded is over puffed-rice and Makgeolli. We used her little pantry to microwave our Vegetarian instant noodles and she was kind to offer us a bowl of puffed rice and recommended that we try this Korean rice wine from next door CU! What do you say when a complete stranger wakes up at 4:30am to see you off and yes she helped us book the cab as well.This may be the first time for us when a new acquaintance embodies the best of what a place has to offer!

Owner nice treatment make us feel warm in cool wheather. Even treat us breakfast before we were leaving to airport. It feels Like a straving kid get snack from mom before depart to school. I start to miss them now.

Convenient”
Its located near many eateries and intercity bus stop. The hotel is slightly difficult to locate because its hidden in an alley. The owners (husband & wife team) are very kind and helpful. Our stay has been very comfortable. Would stay here again.

Excellent Place”
We got in to Jeju island rather early and arrived the hotel about 9AM. The owner mentioned we were early and check in is at 2PM. But after a few seconds, the owner's wife (I think) decided to let us check in which I think it's really nice of them as we were tired from an early flight in from Seoul. The moment we walked in to our room, we were really pleased with the room. It's clean and spacious. The bathroom even had a big tub with a good shower head. They had electric blankets in case we feel chilly during the night. A really nice hair dryer was provided and our room was cleaned up every day. The owner even gave us some oranges and yogurt drinks for tea. The morning we left for Busan, the owner got up and waited along with us in the lobby for our taxi to the airport. It was about 5:30 AM! I would recommend Mimong anytime because of their hospitality and the location of the hotel. You do no need to worry about food as it's right in the center of the famous food street and 5 mins walk to Seogwipo Olle Market.
