Spacious, high ceiling rooms. Just a minute away to an S bahn station. Breakfast buffet is lovely. Good spread of bread, cheese, cold cuts, egg station, coffee, tea and freshly juiced fruits. Not to mention how lovely the hotel crew and staff had been during our stay.

Great hotel, awesome and spacious room. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Only stayed for one night to break up my travel. Its central location would make this hotel a good place to come back for a longer visit. Highly recommend.

A perfect hotel for a few days sightseeing. The breakfast was outstanding and incredibly extensive. As a coeliac, breakfast wasn't a problem but eating in the restaurant in evening was very restrictive. I think Germany doesn't quite get gluten like the UK! I highly recommend Movenpick Berin.

We had a magnificent experience. To start, we arrived before the official time for check-in, and we received our room immediately. This hotel is in a historic building. The entire design and decoration throughout the interiors is tasteful and impressive. Our room was absolutely spacious and charming. The high ceilings are hard to find in modern constructions. We enjoyed the flat-screen TV with international local and international channels as well as the complimentary coffee and tea. The bathroom amenities were nice. The closet was spacious and included a safety-deposit box. At the reception, you can find Swiss chocolates during the "chocolate hour" from 4 to 5 PM. Location is not as ideal as it could be, but you may still reach most major tourist attractions on foot - and access to public transportation is simple and convenient. The hotel has a sauna and exercise room, and all staff members were completely service-oriented and full of smiles. For sure, we wish to return!

Stayed here for 5 nights over Easter. Fabulous breakfast, nice room, cool hotel, good location, quiet. I had a room on the top floor with sky-lights. Recommended!

Great hotel, beautiful and clean room, very quiet - we stayed for 3 nights on the top floor during busy time and we didn’t hear anyone/any noise even once. Had breakfast there one morning and it was very good. We will be back.

A lovely hotel in a historical building (so there's some character!). The breakfast buffet was delicious and had plenty of different options (fruit, yogurts, cheeses, meats, breads, omelette bar, etc). The beds were very comfortable, but the only issue was that the pillows, though soft, were a bit understuffed and flat (so we had to ask for additional pillows). They responded right away and brought us some - the staff were super friendly and helpful! There were bikes to rent right from the hotel, which was a nice options as well. The hotel is right on an s-bahn stop, which helped connect us to the rest of the city, and it was walkable to Potsdamer Platz area. Overall, great choice to stay here!

I really like the Mövenpick hotel chain. After staying in their fantastic property in Hamburg (old water tower), I also enjoyed the interesting building they occupy here. The room was neat with a beautiful bath, the public facilities were appealing and the food outlets were very enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was perfect for my taste. For dinner however, I would've appreciated a wider range of food to be available. My first order was also not delicious (a very dry Wiener Schnitzel with a too tiny slice of lemon, very thin but no juice at all). The second order was better, a selection of salmon prepared in 4 different ways. But apart from that, there was only a Hamburger that I would have ordered for my small/medium appetite. For the final night, I decided to eat outside (a mistake but at least a very cheap one). For value and especially the room quality I would recommend it. Staff was fantastic, too. Just consider eating elsewhere if you stay for more than a few nights.

Everything was very pleasing and we would love to come here again! The only issue was that it was a rather hot few days and we booked a more spacious room, which happened to be right under the roof of the building. Was kinda hot even during the night.

Located next to S-Bahn station, very easy access from Airport. Room was spacous with high ceiling. they have several types of pillow to support your sleeping needs. Complimentary Movenpick Chocolate on a daily basis, small things but very thoughtful. Easy access to Berlin attractions and bus stop is also nearby.

Hotel is a historic building, looks nice. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Location is not the best for walking to main sightseeing places, at least 20-30mins walk. But there are train/subway stations and bus-stops nearby. Only a couple of restaurants nearby. A small supermarket about 5mins walk away. Breakfast is ok, the menu didn’t change for the 3 days I stayed there.

Other than the cost of the breakfast this is the ideal place to stay in Berlin. 10 minute walk to town centre plenty of cheap cafe food outlets to eat. Place is homely and warm will definitely stop here again.
