It was just okay”
It was an interesting experience to stay at a newer capsule hotel but it reminded me of the college dorm. The sleep assessment was not included in the plan so there was nothing stood out. The toilet door didn't open fully so entering to the toilet was really tight even for a small person. The room wear was one size? It should come in different sizes as most of the guests were international visitors. It's not like one size fit all. The cleanness can be a bit more improved. The wifi was not available at the lounge on the 9th floor.

Muslimah Solo Stay”
I had the most pleasant time here in 9hrs Woman Shinjuku. The highlight for me here is definitely the common room where I spend my day studying and chilling surrounded by the aesthetic feels of it all. The sleeping pod is as it’s shown, and Muslimah travellers can be assured on safety with its guests being all women. Facilities and travel pack (PJ’s) allows you to come without a worry as it’s all taken care of for you. On a side note, personally I wouldn’t recommend getting the breakfast as it’s from a cafe nearby (sandwich and coffee) but to each their own. Definitely worth it for a 1-night luxury stay for me. Thank you!

Early wake up”
They wake you up at 9 am for cleaning and your made to leave your room which I felt was horrible I’ve never been on a capsule where they do this. Won’t be staying here again

Very basic”
Expensive for a basic hostel arrangement. Shower stalls and sinks were always crowded during peak hours. It's in an area with a lot of bars. Staff are well-meaning.

I was not able to connect to the wifi the entire night. The staff said it’s because they host too many people so the connection is poor.

There are pros & cons Pros: - convenient location - clean - staff were nice - safe Cons: - the pillow was made of beans and cannot support the neck…started to have neck pain from the 3rd night… - the capsule was not sound proof at all. You can hear noises from the roommates throughout the night - the policies are stupid. They will clean the room 10am-2pm everyday. Washrooms are packed with people 930am-10am every morning. - lockers are not in the room. In my case, my luggage was stored on 1st floor, locker on 2nd floor and capsule on 6th floor. Spent a lot of time going up & down - only one elevator, no stairs. I spent so much time waiting elevator everyday - cannot talk in the lounge. I had to work when staying. But I can’t talk with my clients… so, I need to work at a cafe outside…

AMAZING”
Situated near the Shinjuku shopping area, a couple of minutes' walk to Shinjuku-Sanchome station so easy access to many parts of Tokyo. The Midnight Highway Bus from Osaka also drops off at the Shinjuku station which is a short distance away as well. The Mt. Fuji day Trip tour also meets up at a hotel near 9Hours Woman Shinjuku. The staff are really helpful and nice, the self-check-in is easy to navigate, accepted an international credit card (Philippines) and the daily clean-up and sanitation are a big plus. All facilities are clean, like the bathroom, showers, lockers, and lounge. A Lawsons is just a minute's walk, with a couple of Starbucks, and other cafes as well. The only con for me is that there is no laundry room.

This was our first time staying in a capsule hotel and it was a great experience! The staff was very nice and the facilities very clean and modern. This is a great hotel for solo female travellers. I will definitely come back.

It’s my second time back and I love it. It still amazes me how Japan can run a “hostel” type of accommodation in such an organised, clean and homely manner. Love it!

Location not good ”
There are many bar around the hotel and quite dangerous if you travel alone. Sometime you can hear people scram on the street.

not my first time staying at nine hours, so I was aware of checking out every day at 10am. It didn't bother me because I always had early morning plans until late in the afternoon. If you wake up late and like hanging out at the hotel this is definitely not the place for you. But if you are just looking for a space to rest in the evening then its a good place to do so. Lockers were far away from the pods. Location wise its around 7-10 minute walk to the main shinjuku station. Convenience stores close by. everything is relatively clean.

100% worth your money”
Staff was very accommodating, facilities were cleaned regularly and thoroughly, amenities were more than sufficient as well. The location is perfect, walking distance to one of the biggest stations, shopping centers and food places. Excellent experience overall, would definitely stay here again on my next visit. :)
