Lovely hotel, easy to find and within a short walk of the Old Town. The staff spoke good English and were helpful and friendly. They provided me with a map and made some suggestions about places to go. A great place to use as a base while exploring the city and surrounding area.

Platzl Hotel is a perfect location and so quaint! The rooms and bathroom are little small but it was worth it given the location! Staff was very friendly. The daily breakfast was wonderful!!

We absolutely love the Platzl. From the staff, location, facilities, this is one great little hotel. It is super close to the Marienplatz and station, plenty of beer houses & restaurants and has the best breakfast we had in Europe. The bed was super comfortable with a variety of pillows that suited us both, the blockout curtains worked well and having a small foyer between the hall and the room meant we were never disturbed despite being right next to the elevators. The breakfast here is second to none with great hot and cold options and 8 different kinds of tea! The lobby is also a lovely sitting area with table service from the bar. Platzl Hotel was the perfect start to our European holiday and I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is not big, room is average in size but love the location. It is very centrally located to everything. Staff is also pleasant and helpful.

Right in Old town - walking distance from all of Munich's highlights. The staff are lovely and very helpful- everyone; the reception, concierge, breakfast team. The rooms are rather small for Europe. But we'd choose to stay here again if we're in Munich. + Breakfast was outstanding!
