Worth it!”

Very close to a train station. Friendly staff, and the breakfast although modest was included free of charge. I'd recommand this hotel for solo travelers. 5 stars for location, price and hotel staff.

Great hotel”

The room was small but it was clean and very close to restaurants and transportation. It was easy to find.

Adequate but not fantastic”

1) Wifi was a bit iffy 2) I arrived in Japan at 6:30am and got to hotel around 10:30am. Was told I could only check-in at 4pm. How wud u feel? 3) The staff were helpful but spoke very little English 4) Everything else was as you'd expect from Japan - clean and efficient. 5) Thank god for a laundry room!

location is best very near jr otsuka station north exit. but small hidden elevator back if you carry big luggages or you must climb stairs since hotel i second floor. amenities in room is ok but lack of mirror in desk (they only give you fold one). staff are accomodating though wih your request. convinience stores are nearby.

Fantastic location just steps from the JR Yamanote line. Only 1 stop away from Ikebukuro. This hotel is a bit older but with breakfast included and it's super awesome location, it is worth checking out. The only thing that was a pain was getting into the building with luggage. The only elevator was at the side of the building (otherwise, you need to climb a staircase with your luggage).

It is a very nice but small room hotel, close to the JR line, literally just cross street from the station. you can even heard the train passing when you open the window (but won't when you close it).

Good value”

Frankly that's not my best business hotel in Tokyo and it's a bit noisy close to the station. However it's also a good value, close to Ikebukuro area and difficult to challenge.

The station of the hotel is Otsuka which is on the Yamanote Line, which is very convenient. 15 mins to Akihabara. Hotel is right opposite the JR station. Many shops surrounding the hotel, including a salon, Starbucks and a convenience store. Hotel is very clean and there is WIFI in lobby.

Location is excellent. Room is convenient and size is good.

Short”

Internet sketchy. Wifi in room requires plugging stuff from front desk staff into one's computer, messing about with SSID and passwords. Not truly WiFi Very awkward and did not work. Had to go to reception area to get true Wifi. My job depends on internet connections.

This location was great, train station was just in front of the hotel, 3 mins to convenience store, and there are 24 hours book store in front. Even though the rooms are smalle but they are comfortable and clean, and the price is cheap which is important to our requirement for a hotel in big city like Tokyo.

the location is directly outside otsuka station (along the yamanote line) which is very convenient. the rooms are small and while there is breakfast, one gets tired of the same bread after a while. still it is not too bad.

This hotel is the most convenient location. Just a minute from otsuka station. The hotel staffs are very nice even they can speak a little bit english. And, the room is perfectly clean. Moreover, there are many restaurants nearby the hotel. Only one complaining from my opinion, there is no air conditioner.

we have spend 2 nights there and find the location is convinent if travel around by jr. breakfast is european with bread and coffee, we think is acceptable. the room is small and lighting is strainge, not too comforatble.

AWESOME location and nice hotel!”

Nice and clean hotel. Room is slightly small but it's ok for a single traveller and bed is big and roomy. Bathroom includes bathtub too. Everything is very tidy and clean. Staff is friendly though do not speak too much English. Would highly recommend to those on a budget!
