Location and hardware are good but poorly managed”
The receptionists are unprofessional to give wrong information about parking. I am fined by the parking property for not registering the license plate I came to this site because of fitness center but they closed it without considering the customers needs. Agoda didn’t know of course

Service could be improved”
Although the hotel is very well located, and the bedroom is functional and nice, the service could definitely be improved. When checking in, we were informed that our request for a bathtub hasn’t been registered, and that they only had twin beds (even though we have included this in our reservation at Agoda.com). The breakfast was not as expected: it didn’t have many options and nothing was added when the items were over. Lastly, we were supposed to leave the room at 11 am and have asked for a late checkout. The receptionist was not very accommodating and only offered the option of “staying a few more minutes”, as “the hotel was fully booked”. We have hoped for a better experience!

Excellent location”
We stayed two nights in July, medium hot period. Very good breakfast, Nice and clean room. Only negative was ventilation was not satisfactorily, no aircon. Warm nights, we stayed in basement level, newly renovated room, but no windows which could be opened, only door wide open, so we closed it in the .night. We know this problem from other reviews, but chose the hotel because of nice location in old city centre with walking distanse to shops and attractions, and the excellent breakfast.

Disappointing accommodation”
My sister and I were looking forward of the 2 night stay at HC Andersen Hotel at Odense. We guess because the room booking was not a direct booking with the hotel, we were allocated a room on the 2nd floor facing the busy road and above the gabbage area. There is no air conditioning service and we were told that the temperature at night is comfortable if we open the window. In consideration of safety issue (the room is on the 2nd floor and it is facing the busy road), we decided to keep the window closed during night time. In future we think it will be wiser to book direct with the hotel as we hope to be allocated a rokm with better location.

Quaint and Glamorous with some neat history ...”
Excellent stay, love to return. I am a fan of HCA, since small, this place is loaded with references to him. I liked that I also enjoyed speaking with locals at the market near the hotel - very nice and picturesque. Lovely visit overall. Great hotel buffet breakfast. Super nicely decorated dining room, as well.

Toplage, sehr zentral aber trotzdem sehr ruhig , sehr freundliches Personal. Hervorragendes Restaurant wenn auch in gehobener Preiskategorie, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt , saubere ausreichend große Zimmer,Parkgebühren wurden als kostenlose Serviceleistung geschenkt daher 100% empfehlenswert.

Greit for en overnatting, kanskje to. Veldig slitent hotell, men fikk inntrykk av at man jobber med oppgradering. Vi fikk ikke et nyoppusset rom, og fikk dermed en tur tilbake til 80-tallet. Gode madrasser og ok frokost. Litt kaotisk frokostarrangement, men helt ok.

Greit hotell men dårlig med påfylling av pålegg, drikke og brød ved frokosten. Gikk tom for brød. Aircondition låst på 24 gr, for varmt på rommet. Luktet kloakk på badet, skitten toalettkost. Satte ikke inn nye glass og kopper på rommet

Levede op til de forventninger man kan stille et 4 stjernet hotel. Pænt stort værelse. Morgenbitter inclusive i den store morgenbuffet God start på dagen. Beliggenhed lige i hjertet af Odense. Gåafstand til seværdigheder.

Forse un po' inferiore qualitativamente rispetto gli standard Radisson Blu, però l'hotel è abbastanza vicino al centro in posizione tranquilla e ben collegato. Per chi vuole c'è il casinò con ingresso a pagamento
